Hi, hope your Jogglers have arrived safely. Once you've had the chance to get them set up and had a play, please can you post your feedback to these questions from O2:

  1. Did you find it easy to set up?
  1. What worked best for you?
  1. Would you recommend it to a friend?
  1. Do you think it's good value for money
  1. Would you like to see any additions?
  1. How would you use it to organise your family life?
  1. Anything else you'd like to add?

And the latest on the webchats is that they'll now take place between 1-2pm (not 7pm) on Weds 10 June and Weds 1 July on www.mum-e.co.uk, but as usual if you can't make it on the day you can leave your questions/feedback in advance and the Joggler team will answer them/respond between 1-2pm.

We'll post the urls of the chats as soon as we have them.

Happy Joggling,

MNHQ

I should have called my Joggler 'John' and not Brad. He was very professional.

I have unplugged and replugged Brad. He seems to be behaving himself re showing me the calendar. We might even see if I can upload some MP3 files over the weekend.

BONKERZ · 12/06/2009 21:54

aS SAID EARLIER MY INTERNET CONNECTION HAS BEEN DOWN SINCE TUESDAY SO I DIDNT MAKE THE WEB CHAT, VERY ANNOYING COS I HAD SOME THING I WANTED TO SAY!

Anyway i will post the answers to the questions i got via email here....

  1. How did you find setting it up? As said before, i found setting up very easy! Plug and go really!
  1. Are you finding it useful? And why? Is it helping to organise your family life?
Its fitting in quite niely tot he family. Dh has put all his hours on for the next few weeks so i know when he can pick kids up early etc, the texting is fab and has been very useful with Dh especially. DS lokes to look at what is happening for the week and also checks the weather every morning.
  1. Do you think it?s good value for money? (It?s £149.99 or free if you take one instead of a phone upgrade.) I dontt think in its preset state that it is worth th asking price. I would consider paying about £80 for it but to be honest it doesnt have anything EXTRA on it that makes me want to grab it IYSWIM
  1. Do you think O2 could do anything to make the O2 Joggler better? Loads of really good suggestions on here already. I would like a meal planner application. A to do list. more memory or option to put in memory card,

technology needs?

MelonCauli · 12/06/2009 21:56

I think I will call mine 'John'. It has a certain ring to it.

SoupDragon · 13/06/2009 11:16

I'm actually not sure I can be ar$ed to set my replacement non-smoking one up.

It gives me the oh-so-helpful message "there's something wrong" and directs me to the FAQ on the website. Which a a pile of useless crap because they only seem to have "How do I connect my O2 Joggler to my wireless network (Wi-Fi)?" but not a wired network using the cable they provided.

I'm not prepared to dangle on the end of a customer service phoneline. Especially as the calendar/reminders seem useless anyway.

I've just set up connect and play.

I think your interactive help should actually be on the joggler too.

I am looking forward to the planned developments.

bramblebooks · 13/06/2009 20:55

How the heck did you do that Margo? I've been trying for half an hour and can't find the help I was signposted to on the joggler - doesn't exist in written form on the o2 website as far as I can see (have searched FAQs)

MrsWeasley · 13/06/2009 22:04

Oh I've just connect mine to the PC too and it was easy(esp. with the easy online instruction guide).

I still love my joggler.

bramblebooks · 13/06/2009 22:25

pants, mrs W going to have to go and have another lookee now!

SoupDragon · 13/06/2009 22:27

Would it be wrong of me to stick mine on Ebay?

bramblebooks · 13/06/2009 22:33

Mrs W I believe that I may have to call you John

MrsWeasley · 13/06/2009 22:38

Shock Grin

Haribosmummy · 14/06/2009 07:17

I love the joggler too... Mine has been totally hassle free (well, one reminder did arrive late, but I'm happy to leave that as I know O2 are aware of that particular problem)

Other than that, we've had no problems with it. I'm using it online too.

I'm finding it very useful, primarily for the DSDs activities which they would have told their dad about before (and him sending me reminders about appts. is even worse than the joggler!!! )

HOWEVER!!!!! I must admit that I would not have paid £150 for it. It is essentially a tool which pushes O2 contracts and, for that reason alone, I think it ought to be free to O2 customers.

MerlinsBeard · 14/06/2009 11:19

soupy!

But it looked so pretty with the geomags

fruitshootsandheaves · 14/06/2009 13:57

I set up my connect and play too, which would be great but it only seems to connect to one computer on our network. We have some lovely photos on the joggler of some dining chairs, we were selling for my sis, and an aeroplane at Dh's work!

SoupDragon · 14/06/2009 18:08

Yes, it looks pretty but it's pointless if the problems with reminders from the calendar aren't fixed and the online help section is worse than useless, as is the "instruction" booklet.

Given that the reminder texts are pointless, there's not really a lot to encourage me to spend time on the phone to technical support.

I don't want something that looks pretty, I want something that works.

bramblebooks · 14/06/2009 18:36

The calendar option really needs to have all the features of an outlook calendar!

I need to set my own default repeats (ie, every 3 days for medication changes). A drop down calendar would also be great instead of scrolling through all the pages.
I'm sure the above's been said, but I'm reiterating it.

I need the calendar to sync to my iphone and not to wipe out mobile me somehow!

make it so

ParisHiltonSequins · 14/06/2009 18:37

get a wifi soupy

SoupDragon · 14/06/2009 20:05

I don't want one.

bramblebooks · 15/06/2009 11:35

more stream of consciousness upgrades as I think of them!

Would like to have an alarm linked to calendar item on the joggler itself. The alarm needs more default settings or customer-set timing.

Would also like a 'finish' time for an event and to be able to set more than one day - ie multiday holiday, rather than setting it onto each page.

SoupDragon · 15/06/2009 13:27

Out of interest, is anyone else connecting via the cable provided rather than WiFi?

atO2 · 15/06/2009 15:50

@ MrsWeasley,

Thanks for your question:

Q. On the calendar on the PC the "special day themes" move but on the joggler they are still. Is this the same one everyones?

A. from atO2: Yes, the Special Day Themes? are static on your O2 Joggler. Is that an issue? Would you prefer them to be moving as well?

atO2 · 15/06/2009 15:51

@ ReginaCovington

Thanks for the below:

Q. When you are deleting an event it says " cancel or confirm" and you think am I confirming I am cancelling or cancelling the cancelling"?

anyone else find that?

A. From atO2: Regina, I?ll get one of our usability experts to take a look at the screens for cancelling

atO2 · 15/06/2009 15:53

@ MumOfMonsters

Hia, Thanks for your question:

Q. I'd like to be able to set a recurring event eg DS1s gymnastics every week BUT i want to be able to delete 1 or 2 of those - it's not on in half term..however, it deletes the entire recurrance

A. From atO2: Thanks for this feedback. We have received it from a few customers and we are keen to address this issue as soon as we can.
