This is the feedback thread for the 250 Mumsnet users who have been testing Sunbites in Sun Ripened Sweet Chilli and Sour Cream and Cracked Black Pepper flavours.

I loved the cream and black pepper really nice, dh liked the sweet chilli, I wasn't as keen, the kids liked both.

Loved both the flavours and the healthier texture. The packs were disappointingly small but that's probably good news for my oversized belly!

I think a zingy flavour would work quite well against the wholegrain texture. Maybe salt and vinegar or lemon chicken?

In all honesty I would, but I probably wouldn't share them.

Fairly. Better than expected

The flavours were stronger than expected. I didn’t expected them to taste of much so was pleasantly surprised by that. I didn’t like the texture of the crisps though, they were a bit grainy but the size and shape yer nice. I was also shocked by the amount of fat as I thought these were supposed to better for you.

No I wouldn’t. I think there’s other crisps with lower fat that are just as nice

I didn’t like the chilli ones but I expected that. DH tried the chilli ones and he really liked the flavour but again said he didn’t like the texture. I really liked the flavour of the sour cream ones.

I liked the flavours and the fact that they aren’t greasy, I would have preferred a slightly bigger bag but I did always have to share mine with my 3 year old

1- I was extremely satisfy with sunbites and my partner loved them, great flavour and a perfect snack.

2- I loved the flavour of sunbites if any dislike it would be they were a little messy and crumbled easy.

3- I would and have since purchased these as a snack.

4- the flavours were great, not overly mild and my partners now addicted to the sweet chilli ones.

5- would certainly buy these in sharing size

6- oh maybe a bacon flavour, cheese and bacon would be nice

We were already fans, but my sons really enjoyed the two new flavours we were sent.

I like that they're not overly salty or heavy.

My 15yo son really liked the Sweet Chili Sunbites. He says he prefers them to the original flavour. My 11yo son liked the Sour Cream & Cracked Pepper, but he said they didn't taste all that much different to the original ones.

I don't like the negative environmental impact with so many products in individual packets, so I would definitely buy as a sharing bag.

I'm not much for flavouring, but my sons have suggested honey mustard, or lime flavoured.

I quite liked the sour cream flavour and the crunch, but I was expecting them to be a bit healthier

I like the flavour and crunch of the sour cream (not the chilli) but thought they were meant to be a healthier snack, but the fat and ingredients didn’t convince me Of that

Probably not on their own, if I wanted crisps with a sandwich and It was the healthiest option then possibly.

The chilli wasn’t at all spicy and was much more like paprika. It wasn’t particularly pleasant and was too sweet. The sour cream ones were much more palatable.

No I don’t think i would eat enough and wouldn’t want my daughter eating them.

I can't think of anything we disliked. I liked that they were very flavoursome, had a satisfying crunch and weren't greasy like crisps usually are. They felt quite healthy but they are very moreish and I could happily eat one bag after the other!

Really enjoyed them. I preferred the sour cream and black pepper ones on flavour sensation factor alone, but wouldn't turn my nose up at the sundried tomato ones either.

Lime and mango chutney? Something zingy.

We quite liked the Sunbites. The adults and older teen liked the sweet chilli flavour. None of us really liked the sour cream flavour. I thought it had an odd after taste. I liked the fact they were higher in fibre than normal crisps. Loved the fact there was no MSG. We liked the packaging design. We would buy the sweet chilli flavour again for packed lunches for older teen and if there were larger sharing bags we would get these to accompany drinks with other adults. Younger child - and all of us - would eat a cheddar cheese flavour or a salt and vinegar flavour.

I liked the flavour of both but preferred the sweet chilli. The sun bites had a nice texture. Crisps are not a healthy snack but I thought they would have less saturated fat

I really liked the flavours and the fact they're just a bit different to most other brands. I disliked the fat/salt/sugar content which seemed high for such a small packet.

Loved both flavours, but the pieces were too big, too rough and took the skin off the roof of my mouth which was sore for a fair few days afterwards.

Something really punchy like jalapeño pepper and lime flavour. Or nacho cheese flavour.

Mostly satisfied, they have an unusual texture that I found artificial at first. I think I got used to it.

I like that they’re ‘grown-up’ crisps with nice flavours. The chilli ones were rather tasteless though.
I liked the crunchiness of them. They go well with my favourite garlic dip.

I was going to say cheese but there already is one. How about paprika? Always a favourite of mine.

I bought my own sunbites and they were very nice but if anyone tries to tell me they are much healthier than normal crisps I will laugh in their face.

They were delicious! I had tried them previously as they sell in Subway, but still think they are just as nice.

I like the texture as they are so crunchy and like the size of the crisps themselves as they are quite large.

At this time i would prefer it if there was a bigger range of flavour to include more child friendly ones

Very satisfied ... they had good taste, were crunchy, good bag texture /feeling.

They’re a good healthier option than crisps for a snack. The flavour got a bit much towards the end of the packet but that’s a personal taste issue.

Good strengths of flavour in both kinds. Tasted as you’d expect, you got what it said.

No. I like individual bags for portion control. I imagine a sharing bag would go soft if not all eaten at once.

Roasted tomato and red onion.

I was very satisfied with Sunbites. They tasted better than I expected them to.

I liked the texture - made them more of a satisfying snack and I ate then slower than I normally eat crisps which made them last longer. Unfortunately neither of my children liked them - one found the colour off-putting and the other didn't like the flavours. My fussy husband liked them.

I liked both flavours. The combination of black pepper with the sour cream worked better than the usual combination of sour cream and onion.
The chilli had enough kick for me to give it some flavour without being too dominant.

I like the smaller bags as after a summer of over-eating it helps me keep to a small portion size. However if I was buying sharing bags to have with a group of people I would definitely consider them as an option.

A Mediterranean herb, garlic and cream cheese flavour - essentially Boursin flavoured.

Satisfied - they were a different snack for those we normally purchase.

They were differnt from the snack food we usually buy. The DC didn't like them but DH and I did.

Not sure they would be my immediate go-to - DH would probably buy them again.

I liked the Sweet Chilli (I really don't like Sour Cream flavour anything) and DH liked both flavours.

Probably not, as we don't tend to buy sharing bags of snacks like these.

Not sure , but something other than the standard flavours that other snacks seem to come in would be good. Possibly something in a savoury, spicy flavour.

I like that the idea that they are slightly healthier than crisps, but wasn't exactly clear why they were meant to be healthy. I wasn't very keen on the texture - they felt very grainy.

They were quite strong flavours - I didn't mind them, but DS wasn't very keen. There was a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste.

No - we rarely buy sharing bags anyway, and when we do, they tend to be fairly plain to ensure everyone likes them - I'm not sure these would be universally popular.

I had a quick look on Ocado and it seems there's a reasonable range of flavours anyway. Maybe salt and vinegar?
