  • How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

My baby is 10 weeks and we used size 2.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

I really liked the nappies. They were really soft, didn't leak and were so pretty.

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

The soft feel was my favourite thing about the nappies.

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

The grey ones with stars.

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

We didn't talk much about the nappies during changes.

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

I would, and have, recommended these nappies to friends.

My baby is 4 months old and I used size 3 nappies. We had the animal design ones.
I liked how soft they are - no skin irritation, and biodegradable
I wouldn’t say I talked about the design to DS. I usually sing to him while changing him to keep him happy.
Much as I liked the quality feel of these nappies they seemed to cause a strange damp feeling - not quite a full wee leak but as if the outer layer isn’t quite watertight and that combined with the crazy price means I’d be unlikely to recommend them. I would consider recommending them if a friend was having a particular issue with nappy rash or skin sensitivity as I suspect the soft material would help with that.

I forgot to add to my review above another downside for us was the sizing. I think they came up smaller than other brands. My 14w old is 18lbs and fine in size 3 pampers and supermarket brands but I felt these nappies were only just fitting him. They say up to 20lbs - pampers size 3 go up to 22lbs

How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

DS is 4 months and I tested size 3.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

Lovely and soft and didn't rustle. Didn't have any problems with leaking but noticed overnight a lot of wee collected round the top of the nappy which was a little odd.

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

How soft they are and no rustling!

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

I want sent blue with giraffes.

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

I didn't really
  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

Yes I would

  • How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

Seven months old and size 3

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

Overall I quite liked them, they are soft and stretchy and my baby seemed really happy in them. They look nice too, and the designs are cute. Unfortunately, they leaked during most nights and they're too
expensive for my budget.

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

They are incredibly soft and seemed to be extremely comfortable.

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

Friends In The Sky

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

I didn't really use it, changing time is usually quick and to the point so I don't always have time to be faffing with a chat.

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

Yes, they are soft, comfortable and as long as your child doesn't sleep long enough at night that they leak the absorbency is good.

I used the size 3 nappy in the animal pattern for my 4 month old.

My overall impression was that I like how soft the nappies feel. They are really good quality and I imagine they would be more comfortable on babies skin compared to other brands. It also states that they are a more eco friendly nappy which makes me feel a bit less guilty about using disposables.

What i like the most is the fit of the nappy as they are less baggy at the bottom compared to my usual brand so they sit better under vests and sleepsuits.

I like the pattern as it's fun and it covers the whole of the nappy. I think my little one is a bit too young to appreciate or even notice the design at the moment but I imagine a slightly older baby or toddler would love it. I didn't use the nappy to chat to my baby as I actually forgot about this feature but I probably would with a slightly older baby.

The only negative I have is the price. They are a lot more expensive than my usual brand. I would buy them again but I would probably alternate between these and cheaper ones.

I would definitely recommend these as they are fun and great quality.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them? They feel very soft and seem to be comfortable. But I would prefer an elastic band at the back.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

Really nice touch and feel however were a bit leaky especially at the front.

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

The feel of them.

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

The nighttime sky design

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

It just added to the random silly songs and rhymes we sing and just random baby babble while changing.

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

Not really, the cost is very high. I dont really view the nappychat as a vital feature either.

-Baby is 15 weeks and we used size 3

-I liked the design and they felt nice and soft. I like that they are eco friendly as I am trying to be mindful of the plastic waste I am using. However we had a big problem with poos leaking from the leg a number of times. She never used to leak out of pampers and usually doesn't out of Naty nappies, but this was a problem and would stop me from buying them, which is a shame. Because of this I have only been using them in the daytime, not overnight. I also thought if they were wet I could smell the wee more than in other brands but perhaps that is the lack or chemicals.

-The thing I liked most was the fact they are eco friendly, although I did wonder what that means as they don't say they are biodegradable but that they are made from sustainable sources. Would be interested to know what these are.

-I chose the stars and moons design, which looks nicer than other brands and we get positive comments about them.

-I haven't really used them specifically to talk with my baby as I usually sing when changing her nappy

-For the fact that they leaked I would be wary of recommending them, however it seems that each brand fits each baby differently so I would suggest they give them a go if looking for something different.

How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

DD was 9 weeks when we received the nappies 10 lbs 5 oz, size 2 (7-12 lbs)

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

I loved the pattern and the fact they weren’t mostly white. The looked really really cute! I was very excited to use them.

They felt much softer than other nappies and not as bulky. Had a couple slip down on her initially as they were so soft!

We did have a few leakage problems and they wouldn’t have lasted 12 hours at any point.
My LO sleeps 7 hours at night and there was leakage each time.

I do think she could have done with the larger size part way through trying them though, as we did experience leakage with our usual own brand nappies too, so could have partially been due to size issues.
But the leak was up the back and front which I have never had with any other nappies.
The pampers same size didn’t have any leaking during the night.

I did look at purchasing more, but find them much more expensive than the others we use and postage is only included after £30, when a pack is £14.99 it’s frustrating to be 2p short!

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

They looked adorable and really stood out from the other nappies, even got comments when visiting the health visitor drop in

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

Silver and friends (grey)

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

My LO loves getting changed so we did have a natter about how cute she looked and talked about all the different images

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

I would if a better price point/the friend didn’t have an issue with pricing, unfortunately 20p per nappy is just too much for me, even though they are super soft and eco friendly

How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

• aged 4 months and we used our normal size 3

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

•I loved the softness, very gentle on skin, not noisy or bulky nappies. However the urine seemed to make its way through the nappy outer cover.. as vests would get left damp all over. I didn’t experience leaks as such, just this odd dampness, which in turn, smelled of urine. I don’t like the Mum and You name, for obvious reasons..

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

• the softness of the material and how stretchy they were, definitely the most comfortable we have used.

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

• the blue animal design

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

•I didn’t. I don’t see the point of this to be honest. My normal Aldi nappies have clear animals on them too. I talk to my child all the time anyway so find this a bit of a gimmick.

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

• I might mention how soft they are but to be honest the dampness they leave on clothing would put me off recommending.

My child is 2 months and we’re using size 2 nappies. They are very soft and seem comfortable to wear, they mould well to my babies body. We’ve experienced no leakage as yet. I don’t love the printed design I must say, but it is fine and doesn’t retract from the functionality. I absolutely love that the nappies are biodegradable as this was a real issue for me when using nappies with my first child, but for us real nappies we’re just not practical! They also don’t have the ‘chemical’ smell you often get with other branded nappies so overall I would definitely buy these nappies in the future and will be recommending them to my mum friends. Great product guys 👍

How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?
DD is 6 months, we used size 3.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

Really liked:
* The sizing is offset from our usual brand (Naty) which was great as DD is very big round the thighs and we've had trouble finding nappies to fit; they're usually too small round the bottom or too big round the waist.
* The m&y nappies were really soft and flexible, which for our DD gave a much better fit particularly around the legs. With other nappies I sometimes have to yank them about to get them lined up properly, but these ones were really easy to put on. We use extra bamboo boosters at night and the nappies were roomy enough to add these in without gaping.
* They did seem to absorb pee more evenly, so she didn't end up with the usual heavy wodge of nappy between her legs.
* We had one poonami which was completely contained - a first! It usually leaks up her back, but the m&y nappy finishes higher up and kept it in.

Disliked:
* The branding and name. DH objected to this too as he does just as many changes as I do.
* It wasn't clear to me how biodegradable the were. The packet and website says "eco-friendly" but doesn't go into detail. This is my first consideration when buying nappies so it really matters.

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

The fit and sizing.

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

Nighttime.

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

I didn't (we have lots of other stuff round the changing table) but DH did, he pointed out all the characters to her and even made up a song.

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend

Definitely yes if the eco-friendly statement was clarified.

  • How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

6 month old, size 3 nappies.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

They're OK. I liked how soft they were.
I didn't like that they made my baby's onesie feel damp when the diaper was "in use".

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

The softness and that they're weren't bulky.

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

The blue one with animals on it.

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

No not really.

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

At this price, no I wouldn't. Parents have a lot to budget for with a baby, these prices do not appeal.

Our DD is 4 months and we used size 3
What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?
I was struck by how pretty they looked and how lovely and soft they felt when opening the pack. The name is bloody awful though. I also didn't like the lack of wetness indicator and that it wasn't immediately obvious which was front and back before unfolding the nappy.
-What did you like most about the nappies? The softness and overall design
-Which nappychat design did you choose? Clouds and Stars etc
-Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby I showed her one with all the characters on but she just wanted to eat it. Plus she's now really wriggly at change time so the stories were not at the forefront of my mind
-Would you recommend these nappies to a friend No. To begin with I thought they were lovely, however as the test went on we had a couple of leaks. They're also eye-wateringly expensive compared to my usual brand (aldi) Even if they hadn't leaked I couldn't justify a 7-8 times cost increase

  • How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

My DS is nearly 5 months old and we used size 3 nappies.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

First impression was good: they’re a nice design and look good in our nursery. During our next nappy change, we popped one on DS and it seemed more comfortable that our usual nappy brand. Unfortunately, within a couple of hours, DS’s vest was damp where the nappy seems to have reached its absorbency level and leaked. We stopped using them immediately but then decided to give them another go later in the week. So far, we haven’t had any further leaks so I wonder if maybe they just can’t withstand being particularly wet.

  • What did you like most about the nappies?

How soft they were. This was remarkably different to other brand nappies.

  • Which nappychat design did you choose?

Green with cats on.

  • Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

We like to have a little play during nappy changing time so that DS gets some time with his nappy off: the design on the nappy inspired some conversation regarding our own cats, who DS has recently discovered, but this was on the first day and we didn’t really have anything to say about them after that.

  • Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

I’d like to because of the softness but probably wouldn’t in case they leaked.

5 months and we tested size 3

What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?
We really like them. We thought they were very soft and have good absorption and it's great they are made of natural materials. Only down sides are their price and if we were really picky it would be nice to have a wetness indicator on them.

What did you like most about the nappies?
That they are super soft!

Which nappychat design did you choose?
We chose the clouds and stars design.

Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby
I wouldn't say we had lots of conversations around the nappies but I did point out some of the characters while changing DD.

Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?
I would and I wouldn't. I would because I like the design and that they are natural and biodegradable. I wouldn't because I don't think many of my friends would be able to afford them in the long run.

How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?
16 weeks, we used size 3.

What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?
Loved the design, very pretty nappies. They are also extremely soft to touch and are also thin compared to some nappies we have used. Unfortunately I didn't feel they compared favourably to (much) cheaper brands we have used. There were a few times DH and I thought we could feel slight dampness (not an issue in our usual nappies) and we also had a couple of poo leaks (again not an issue in our usual nappies). I would be particularly put off by the very high price compared to our usual brand, although even if they were the same price I would stick with our usual due to better performance.

What did you like most about the nappies?
The design and softness.

Which nappychat design did you choose?
Animal friends (blue)

Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby
To be honest, we didn't. DD loves wriggling about on her changing mat so at the moment change times currently consist of sound effects and encouraging movement. Suspect if she was a bit older she would take an interest in the pictures.

Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?
No. Not good enough to warrant high price tag.

How old is your baby/ child who you tested the nappies on, and which size did you use?

6 months - size 3

What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

Likes - They are soft, attractive and the sticky tabs actually stick well.

Dislikes - Absorbency was not as good as other brands. We had to change her more often and we had a few leaks up her back - poonami's and wee. Also seemed to leave a damp feeling for some reason. We've never had this with other nappies and we've tried a lot!

The name of the brand / nappies. My husband tends to do 50% of the changing and hates the assumption that mum's do everything.

The price is just far too much for most families.

A wetness indicator would be useful.

What did you like most about the nappies?

The softness and they seemed to be more sensitive to my baby's skin. They're free from chemicals but I would like further clarification on the eco friendly claims.

Which nappychat design did you choose?

Animal friends in blue.

Describe if/how you used the nappychat designs to talk with your baby

They did lead to songs and stories about the characters although I don't think she was really bothered. More passing the time for me I think. Would possibly be useful for older children / toddlers.

Would you recommend these nappies to a friend?

Only if the price was comparable to other brands and the absorbency issue was addressed otherwise they are far too expensive for what they are.

I used size 3 nappies on my six month old.

  • What was your overall impression of Mum & You Nappies? What did you like and what, if anything, did you dislike about them?

I did like how the design stood out. Even my husband commented on them and he is oblivious to most things. I really liked how soft the nappies felt in comparison to other disposable nappies on the market. I did miss having a wetness indicator however this is more of a nice to have rather than a necessity.
