We are looking for 50 MNers, with at least one child under the age of 12, to test the new Google Home. If selected, you’ll receive the product, worth £129, and get to keep it!

What you’ll need do: Test Google Home for two weeks and give feedback on your experience by posting on a feedback thread as well as completing a short survey.

My DD is full of questions, about the universe, life and everything (apparently 42 no longer passes for a good answer). It would be great if she could ask the google home directly, instead of asking me to get my phone to ask google why elephants have long trunks? or why the sky is blue?

I reckon google produce some of the best products out there (flattery always works right?) but in all seriousness I'd love to see how this helps with family life.

Super excited in this house too. The poor Google Home will get asked a lot of crazy questions by our 7yo, such as why her brother is so annoying?

DD is very excited and thinking of ridiculous things she can ask it. She loves asking Siri to rap, so no doubt that will be top of her list.

I'm looking forward to seeing its capabilities and if it will change my life into one of streamlined, organised, serenity rather than fly by the seat of my pants muddliness.

DH is looking forward to seeing what he can link it up to with and then bragging to his mates.

Oh no, we're away this bank holiday weekend. Hope it goesn't get thrown over the fence!

However, I've just started a two month free trial with Google Play so we can try out the music and am moving my playlists from iTunes over as we speak! Going to sort out my Google calendar too so we can try the diary management stuff. Mostly use Apple stuff rather than my Google account so trying to get organised so we can hit the ground running.

So excited to have been chosen for this one ! Can't wait to receive it and get started.

Aw I so wanted to be chosen for this! My very inquisitive 8 year old would have loved it, after we too had Alexa and she seemed to get her own personality which didn't want to listen to what we said & speak randomly when no1 asked her anything!
