We tested Size 5 on my son who is 22 months old.

Yes definitely - DS slept soundly all night with these nappies and they didn't leak at all.

Actually I didn't know this until just now, but I did notice that the nappy was less wet right at the front in the mornings - they looked more comfortable than his normal nappies after a full night's sleep.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes I would - they are more pricey than others but you get what you pay for.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would certainly recommend as a superior nappy.

usernamewastooobv · 22/06/2016 13:48

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of the nappy you received.18 months - Size 5.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? They were thinner than my usual nappy so I was concerned that they would not be as absorbent. However, my daughter slept through the night which she does not usually do and there were no leaks.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night's sleep? If so, why? Yes I would recommend these nappies, specifically for the reason that my daughter slept through the night.

4 Would you say that new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night's sleep? Yes it is the best nappy for a dry night from all the other brands that I have tried.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? Yes - there was less bulk in the morning but more importantly my daughter's nappy rash has got better.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? Yes.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I will recommend these nappies as they are much better than cheaper brands.

LittleTalks · 22/06/2016 14:18

1 My baby is 11w old and I received size 3
2 I was impressed with the nappies, they felt like a quality product. I liked how light they were and that the pack didn't take up much room in the drawer. One downside worth mentioning is that I didn't like the bright pattern as you could see it through some of his light summer clothes.
3 I would recommend Pampers for a dry nights sleep. Sadly we didn't get the holy grail 12 hours of dryness, but they were as good as the other brands we've tried.
4 I would say Pampers Baby-Dry is one of the best for a dry nights sleep.
5 I didn't notice any difference in wet bulk in the morning.
6 If price was no object then I would buy Pampers again, but I don't think they are worth the extra cost.
7 Difficult question! I wouldn't NOT recommend them, but I'm not sure I would recommend them over some cheaper brands.

myst · 22/06/2016 14:25

My baby is 10 months old and I used size 4 nappies
The nappies were a good fit, and very thin
Baby was dry in the morning but not noticeably drier than other nappies I have used, what was noticeable is that they were a lot less bulky in the morning
Not significantly better than other brands for a dry night's sleep
Definitely less bulky in the morning
Would buy if competitively priced but not worth double makes like aldi
Would yell other mums that they are good nappies

Blizy · 22/06/2016 14:48
  1. Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
17 months size 5
  1. What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
I found the nappies great.
  1. Would you recommend New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
I'd definitely recommend the nappies, my sone was waking wet through with the old style pampers but the new ones have been great, no leaks at all. He is changed for bed around 6pm and not again until at least 7am.
  1. New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes, his nappies weren't as bulgy as they have been previously.

5. Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes, I have already stocked up!

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, thy are very absorbent and my son has not had any nappy rash with them.

cityrat79 · 22/06/2016 15:33

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

She is 7 months old. I received a Size 3.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

They are definitely thinner than the old ones, but sadly didn't solve our leaking problem.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

No. Our baby is a front-sleeper and would regularly soak through the nappy, her vest and her sleeping bag by about 4 a.m.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

I would need to test other brands.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

No.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

We might try going up a size, but this would mean putting her in a nappy size which she doesn't yet fit into, so not sure it will solve the problem.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No - I was hoping it would be the magic bullet that stopped me having to do a complete outfit change in the middle of the night every night, but sadly, it wasn't so. I'm sure it's a great product, but didn't help us with our specific problem of a front-sleeping baby.

BumWad · 22/06/2016 16:29

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
12 months and Size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
I already us Pampers Baby Dry but wanted to see the difference in the new ones - first impressions are that they are great. Thinner and they aren't as 'full' in the mornings.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes I would. The old pampers leaked but touch wood these new ones have not

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes, saying that I haven't used any other nappies, DS has always been in Pampers!

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
I definitely noticed less front bulk

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Without a doubt

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would. DS has never had nappy rash and I believe that the nappies he wears has helped prevent it

Batboobs · 22/06/2016 16:32

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

2 years old, and nappy size 5

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Very impressed, found them to be thin, absorbent and we had no leaks. Unlike our regular supermarket brand my daughter did not attempt to take them off as soon as she woke up

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

From my experience yes, as they are so light, and my daughter seems to find them comfortable

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

From my use so far, I would say so

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

I did notice there was significant less bulk in the mornings than with my regular supermarket brand

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes I would, but price and amount of nappies per pack would be taken into consideration

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would, they fit well under clothes, no leaks, and my daughter had no issues with wearing them

ZylaB · 22/06/2016 17:00

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
16months, size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Pretty good, I liked how they were less bulky than our current nappies, but think they left her skin looking and feeling a little wetter than Tesco's, which we are currently using. They didn't leak though, except for one poonami during the day which I suspect no nappy would have contained!

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
I'd certainly suggest people gave them a try, but only because I know different brand nappies suit different children. Personally the Tesco's ones leave my daughter's skin looking and feeling drier, but I'd say the Pampers ones were worth a try!

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
They were only as dry as our current brand. But did do 11 hours with no problem!

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes, I think the less bulk is the main positive for these nappies.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Not for this child as they're no better than a cheaper own brand.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I'd suggest that they're worth a try, yes.

orangeshortbread · 22/06/2016 18:38

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
7 months, size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
I usually uses pampers active fit and these ones did not seem as good. We had more leaks (in the daytime) than usual and they felt less cushioned.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
I would stick with active fit for my wriggly baby.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
It was less bulky.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Only if they were on offer.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them for less wriggly babies.

onedowneleventogo · 22/06/2016 18:51

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

Child aged 2 years, size 4 nappies

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

They look nice and fit well. My LO was dry after a full nights sleep, but apart from some cosmetic differences they were the same and supermarket own brand.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

Only if recommending to someone for whom money is no object. The product is good.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

No. It works but so do other brands.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

Yes the nappy sagged less in the middle but as I change my LO first thing this was not a huge benefit.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes, if they were on offer.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes if their LO was waking up in the night because of wet nappy. Otherwise probably not due to the price.

Abodago81 · 22/06/2016 19:22

6 weeks. Size 3. BUT I ACTUALLY BOUGHT SIZE 2 which fit fine so I'll base review on that.

Fit my skinny baby well. Agree with others there's an odd smell.

Yes definitely. Fluid is better spread around so no bulge. Nappy seemed much drier than my usual brand.

Yes

Yes the channels clearly distributed fluid better.

Yes

Yes I would.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received. Nearly 5 months and size 3
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? we liked the nappies especially as they were so slimline. My son didn't develop nappy rash or otherwise while using the nappies and they looked soft and comfortable around the waist and legs. I would have preferred more differentiation between the front and the back of the nappy to help during the night changes, as the front and back are very similar, perhaps one large image on the back and the original images on the front. Otherwise the design is lovely and my little gi enjoined picking the nappy for her baby brother.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?i would based on the slimness of them. Even when wet they were less bulky
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? yes, I just think it have a child with very active kidneys
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? my son normally wakes with a wet bodysuit in the morning, with these new nappies this still happened but not every night so there was some improvement.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? yes at the right price.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? yes if someone wasn't happy with the nappies they were already using.

They seemed the same as other pampers baby-dry nappies I have used in the past

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

Yes

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes, they are very good and have a nice design on them

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? nice and thin but I didn't like the strange smell in the morning!
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? Probably not, I normally use Lidl or occasionally Aldi and the do the same job but are cheaper and don't smell
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? no

  1. Age of child 2. Size of nappy 5.
2.overall impression - thinner than a lot of nappies we have used. Keeps little one dry in the day but not at night. 3.would not recommend for night time use as little one had leaks most nights.
  1. Not drier for a good nights sleep.
5.did not notice benefit due to leakage.
  1. Would buy for daytime use but not for nights.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

19 months, size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

They are much thinner and lighter than other nappies, even when full. They didn't leak (although there was a close call with a particularly explosive poo) and they did the job. However, my baby developed a rash on her bottom after using these nappies for a couple of days, including overnight (we usually use cloth and have never had a problem with nappy rash), so I stopped using them.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

No, because of the rash that developed after wearing the nappy for 12 hours at night.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

No. Aside from the rash, it seems to perform no better than our usual nappies in terms of how well my baby slept.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

Yes, the nappy was less bulky when full.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

No.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No, due to the problems we had with the rash that developed and also because they are more expensive than other disposable nappies.

Sierra259 · 22/06/2016 20:04

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received
6 months, Size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby Dry nappies?
Thinner than I expected, take up less space in the changing bag, soft to touch. We had no leaks. They did seem slightly less bulky than our usual nappies in the mornings, but it didn't hair any noticeable impact on DC's comfort or sleep.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby Dry to someone for a dry night's sleep? If so why?
Yes, if someone asked. They do what they say on the packet.

Would you say new Pampers Baby Dry is the best for a dry night's sleep
No. It is fine. But not significantly better than our usual brand (Aldi) to justify the higher price.

5 New Pampers Baby Dry feature 3 absorbent channels, which distribute wetness more evenly.Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Some mornings, definitely! Others not so much. It must have depended what position she was sleeping in.

6 Would you buy new Pampers Baby Dry again?
Yes. But not regularly unless more competitively priced.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend new Pampers Baby Dry nappies to other parents?
Yes, as something to try if sleep was very disturbed.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
boy/girl twins aged 17 months, size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Soft and good feel to nappy. Nice fit and most noticeable was locked away unpleasant smells far more successfully than current brand (my son has issues with urinating and at times smell is overpowering when he goes)

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? Yes, both babies sleep through and neither had as much bulk to nappy in morning.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
I've tried a few and these definitely leave skin less clammy. No leaks

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Increased mobility possible and unlike active fit felt these didn't need changing the minute either baby did a wee.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? Yes but only when on offer as with twins price is a major factor choosing products, we literally have to double the cost of everything and these are beyond our current budget. I would definitely consider for night time use only.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Definitely if they were able to afford them.

Yes as nappy wasn't so full at the front of the nappy it was more evenly distributed.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? Yes I would.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not yes I would defiantly recommend. Ds's nappy was lighter and his skin was dryer in the morning than with other brands used.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
20 weeks, size 3

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Nice and soft but not as good as the old ones for absorbency. My baby's vest is wet in the morning when using the trial ones but not the normal babydry ones.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep?
If so, why? NO!! As above, when using these my baby is damp in the morning unlike the old babydry nappies.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? Nope, the old ones or active fit are dry in the morning. These are not, they leak.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? No. they seem to spread it so far to the front and back that the wee soaks out the top of the nappy and up my baby's vest.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? No. I want the old ones!!

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? No. As above, these new ones leak. The old ones were dry in the morning.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
15 months, size 4
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Good; we already use Pampers pants (thanks to an earlier Mumsnet test) but these seem to fit a bit better. The size 4 pants are too small, the the size 5s are a bit... droopy. These are just right.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes, although we haven't had a problem with wet nights since we switched to Pampers pants a few months ago.

Yes. In comparison to other brands we've tried, these are the best. They hold SO much!!

Yes; his other nappies have been quite bulky.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes, if you make them in the pants-style!! We've got a very wiggly toddler and they stay in place far better.
