Here is what they’ve got to say: "Night-time is a busy time for your baby – and those precious hours of Golden Sleepsleep aren’t just important for their mood, but development, too! Pampers are launching an upgrade to UK parents’ #1 nappy choice: New Pampers Baby-Dry feature a revolutionary nappy design with 3 Absorbing Channels, that distribute wetness more evenly, and Micro Pearls™ that lock it away. For up to 12 hours of Golden Sleep and less wet bulk in the morning! Pampers Baby-Dry have also been proven to be up to 2x drier than ordinary nappies; so, with babies waking up as dry in the morning as the night before you’ll be left asking 'where did the pee go?'"

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

Baby is aged 15 weeks and nappy size 3.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Very positive. We usually go for supermarket own brands thinking all nappies are pretty much the same but you can really tell the difference with these nappies. Even my partner said how much better they were.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

Yes. Over the testing period we didn't have one leakage and we have a pretty sleepy baby. The thing I really noticed though was even if the nappy was full, baby's bottom was completely dry and it was this that set it apart from our usual brand.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

We've found that most nappies do the job but these do keep the wetness locked away.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

I wouldn't say they were less bulky. You can easily see the three channels and the wetness bulked out in these areas. Not sure it's a problem though.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes I think we will have to! I didn't want to ditch the supermarket own brands but I was very impressed with these.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would, especially if suffering from nappy rash or redness.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
Age 2, size 5
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They looked really slim but I found they leaked.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
No - his pyjamas were wet by morning after about 10-11 hours of sleep
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Disappointingly, no
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
It seemed to sort of break up inside the nappy, and then I presume wetness leaked through between the clumps. Certainly a lot of the outside of the nappy was wet (which then went through to clothes)
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
No
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
No, because of the leaks. This is a big shame because I've loved Pampers when I've splashed out on them before.

Feltedbump · 21/06/2016 20:46

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
18 months, Size 5
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Nice and slim, easy to put on, less bulky when wet. Stayed in place well – fit was good. Did have some leaking in the morning on DS which was disappointing. Felt they were quite small for a size 5.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
They were okay, but wouldn’t recommend them over our own brand.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
No, sad to say they leaked.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes, less sagging in the morning!
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Dependant on the price.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Not over my normal supermarket own brand sorry!

LittleMoonbuggy · 21/06/2016 20:48

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
Just turned 2 years old, we used size 5.
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Very thin and lightweight, generally well designed.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes, not a hint of leaking, no sagging by the morning.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes, it stayed the driest of all the nappies I've tried.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes, it still seemed light and little sagging.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes, it is worth the extra cost.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would, especially for babies who leak or get nappies very wet. Perhaps not so worth it for babies who do not wet nappies so much.

MillieMarysMummy · 21/06/2016 20:49

My baby is 3.5 months, just moved up to size 3 nappies. I like the look and fit of the new Pampers Baby-Dry nappies. I would recommend them for a dry night's sleep as using them, I've been able to avoid waking her following the night time 'dream feed'. Going from 7pm in the evening to 6am in the morning does leave her with a clammy bottom but no wetness penetrates her sleepsuit or sleeping bag. Not sure if these new Pampers are better than alternative Pampers for dryness but they are much better than Pampers New Baby nappies and Aldi Mamia for overnight use. By the morning, there is a lot of wet bulk in our experience. I have already bought Pampers Baby Dry nappies and would recommend them to other parents.

Kelsnack · 21/06/2016 20:51

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They are very good quality, soft and fitted my LG well

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes I would. They held a lot of wee and I didn't get any leakages like I have done from using other brands

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes I would

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes, it was more evenly distributed meaning less chance for a Leakage.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes I would

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would. I would happily buy them as long as the price was competitive and would suggest that others food the same too.

cheetarah · 21/06/2016 21:00

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received. 10 months, size 4
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Soft, comfortable nappies, no leaks, my baby stayed dry overnight
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? Yes, absolutely, very absorbent nappies, soft and comfortable feeling
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? I've tried other brands and find they don't compete on quality
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? My baby certainly stays dry overnight in the baby dry range, but actually I find the active fit range less bulky for daytime use and more effective in distributing wet bulk
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? Yes
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, I have recommended Pampers to new parents having tried a range of supermarket brand nappies and finding they don't compete on quality.

RedRoseMummy · 21/06/2016 21:11

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

12.5 months, size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Slim nappies which fitted well and did the job. We had no leaks while we were testing

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

I would, the nappies lasted all night although they were often quite full in the morning. My son slept through when we used them.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

They were but we've had similarly good results with other nappies.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

The nappy was often quite full and bulky in the morning so I didn't notice this specifically.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes, if they were on offer.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would suggest them amongst a range of different nappies. I wouldn't switch from our current brand to Pampers so I wouldn't recommend them above any others. I always suggest people try a range of different nappies if they ask for advice, Pampers would be in that range.

Tidypidy · 21/06/2016 21:12

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes, no leaks at all, didn't hang down in morning to allow wee to leak out the side.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
they would be in my top 2 choices

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
yes, definitely less bulky

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
yes, if on offer, as we have a tight budget

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
I have been really pleased with them, they are not too bulky.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes I would, they are not bulky when you put them on baby and they have not leaked.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Not sure if they are the best as I have not tried every nappy possible but I am certainly very happy with them.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes I did notice this, previous nappies feel a lot heavier and bulk more at the front.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

I would recommend.

SansaClegane · 21/06/2016 21:23

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
2 years old, size 5.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
First impression very good - I liked the very slim nappy and good fit, although size 5 was snug (I think he'd really needed the size up). Very strong chemical smell in the morning put me off a bit, though.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
I might - they do seem to hold a lot. That said, one night we had a leak, so they're not 100% leak proof.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Not sure. Whilst they are slimmer than my usual Aldi nappies, they don't hold any more and can still leak.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes actually, they are less bulky even when full.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Probably not, due to cost.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would certainly share my experience and say they are quite good, but maybe not go so far as to recommend them.

Daffodil1210 · 21/06/2016 21:27

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
13 months & size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They felt a lot less bulky than the current ones on the market, and I liked the new design on the nappies

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
I was a bit unsure at first about leaving my son in the nappy overnight, even though I've had very few leaks with the current Pampers Baby Dry. When I did take the plunge we didn't have any leaks and my son was in them for 12+ hours overnight!

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
I haven't really tried many other brands but found them similar to the current Pampers Baby Dry on the market in terms of overnight absorption, and we haven't had any leaks so far using them

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
I noticed a little bit of difference, with less bulge by the morning

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes, I probably would but I already buy the current Pampers Baby Dry so I wouldn't really be changing brands, just using the newer type

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would. While they are expensive in comparison to supermarket nappies, I've found they offer better absorption than the other brands I've tried and are comparable on price if bought on special offer

bigchangesabound · 21/06/2016 21:35

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They were nice and thin and kept baby nice and dry
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes, they lasted all night and weren't too bulky in the morning
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
They are good, others do a very similar job so not sure I would say 'best'
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes, you could actually feel the 3 channels
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Only if they were on offer
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would say there were good, but again, there are others on the market that do as good a job and are cheaper.

SansaClegane · 21/06/2016 21:40

Question for MNHQ though.
Just completed all the steps as set out in the email. However in order to complete the last thing - the review on Pampers' website - you had to create an account to submit your review?! Bit pissed off by that and I did so by not using my real data as I don't want to be added to yet another database. Will this affect my chances for the prize draw though - how will anyone know this is my review?
Could this whole exercise not have been done without having to sign up for some shite?

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

I was quite impressed. I like that they are slimmer and less bulky, and they were certainly effective enough. Also I've previously had problems with pampers side tabs pulling off when stretched, but these seemed a lot more secure.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

Well they didn't leak, can't say more than that.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

Effective enough for me

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

Not really to be honest

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes if they were on offer.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I probably would, so long as they were at a reasonable price point.

Incidentally, I'm having trouble logging into the pampers website to post a review as requested, will try again tomorrow

FoxesSitOnBoxes · 21/06/2016 21:43
  1. 18months size 5 nappies
  2. Over all impression good. Seemed slimmer than other pampers in the packet and less bulky at the end of the night
  3. Would I recommend? Yes. Only had one little leak and that was because I was feeding him and twisted his nappy.
  4. Would I say baby dry were the best? I've only ever used pampers baby dry/active fit and they've all seemed pretty good. These were less bulky in the morning so I'd probably say they were the best I've used
  5. Yes, less bulky
  6. Yes, I'd continue to buy
  7. I would recommend in that I'd say I was happy with them but I really have nothing else to compare them to other than other pampers

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Great, very thin and have never leaked.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

Yes, because my DD has not suffered any nappy rash since using these nappies. She sleeps right through for 11+ hours, so no nappy rash is a better than expected result.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

Yes, absolutely, very impressed by the fact that my two year old, who is coming up to potty training, is kept rash free and leak free by these nappies.

Yes, absolutely.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
I only use disposable nappies overnight normally, as dd is a very heavy wetter. So I was impressed that we had no leaks when left on for 8 hours overnight.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
I think the results were an improvement on cheaper nappies for overnight use, as it seemed like babys skin was dry in the morning, but i do worry about what chemicals are in the nappies.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
I did notice that the nappy wasn't hanging in the morning when she woke up.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
I would most likely, as we only us them overnight then the expense might well be worth an extra hours sleep.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
i don't know if i would recommend them for everyday use as they are expensive, but just for overnight they seem to be worth it.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

5 months. Size 3

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Not great. They are a very small fit. I compared them to other brands and they seemed to be smaller than some of the size 2's we had.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

No I wouldn't. By the morning the outside of the nappy felt damp. There was no leakage at the sides though.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

No. We normally use cloth Nappies which don't have the damp feel in the morning. Also other brands of disposables have felt dryer.

They did seem less bulky when full.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

No. I wasn't impressed enough to change from cloth Nappies. When I use disposables I tend to buy own brand and there is nothing the pampers did that they don't.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No I wouldn't. Mainly due to the damp feel in the morning and the cost.
