We're looking for Mumsnetters from a range of locations to try the service from Deliveroo - the food delivery service from local restaurants. If selected, you’d need to sign up to Deliveroo, and your account would be credited with £40 which you can use to test it out.

We’re looking for Mumsnetters who are keen to test the service in one of the following ways:

  • As a ‘date night takeaway’ at home with your partner while the kids are in bed.
  • As a fun feast night for the whole family.

Here’s what Deliveroo have to say: "We're interested in hearing what you think about Deliveroo, and how we can make dinner easier for you. Whether it's feeding the family, or bringing something special home, share your thoughts and let us know how we can help."

If you are selected, we will require you to test Deliveroo service between Wednesday 8th June and Wednesday 22nd June, so please only apply if you are around and happy to arrange a Deliveroo delivery for yourself during this time.

If selected, you’d need to leave a comment on a feedback thread on Mumsnet. All who post their feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw where one Mumsnetter will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher!

If you'd like to take part please add your details here. Please check that Deliveroo is available in your area by entering your postcode here before you apply

We will be in touch with the selected testers as soon as possible.

Thanks

Please note that Deliveroo prides itself on ensuring that the food reaches you in the best condition. As a result, you will only be able to receive service from Deliveroo if you are within 2.6km to 3km of one of their restaurants. This is because Deliveroo never want your food to have to travel with the driver for more than 5 minutes. Therefore, Deliveroo is not available in all locations yet, but their service is expanding all the time, so do keep an eye out in your area!

Haha! I've just looked that the survey and the only two options are date night or family feast... Although my husband does love his job, a takeway late night at the office with his boss is never going to be a date night!!

Newhouse76 · 26/05/2016 20:57

Me please! Available where I live

CointreauVersial · 26/05/2016 21:43

Not available in my area, and I'm in suburban Surrey!

Doesn't say much for the coverage, does it? Hmm

Doilooklikeatourist · 26/05/2016 21:45

Or mine either
Not surprised really
Back of beyond Wales

CamembertQueen · 26/05/2016 21:53

They have just started covering my area! Happy days!

StrawberrytallCake · 26/05/2016 21:58

CamembertQueen Wink think we're in the same place!!

Fanjango · 26/05/2016 22:24

Bah humbug, not in my area either.

Freefalling123 · 26/05/2016 23:01

I know a bit about deliveroo as I work for a restaurant chain using it!

Their delivery areas are limited in terms of overall location at present, and also in terms of actual delivery area. They only delivery within a 2.8km ( so only about 1.6 miles) radius of a central point. So if you live in a larger town/ city, you need to be close to the centre. They just don't cover the suburbs

This is so the food is delivered hot, and not having been on a bike or moped for ages. The ideal time from collection to delivery is just 5 mins.

I live in the back end of beyond, so absolutely no hope for me!

Shantotto · 26/05/2016 23:27

I'd like to - you can't move near me without tripping over deliveroo drivers huddled together for warmth so I'd like to finally try it out.

TerryWogan4President · 26/05/2016 23:46

Yes please! The 'date night while kids are in bed' schtick particularly appeals!!!

TheSkiingGardener · 27/05/2016 05:58

Can we enter if we're already signed up to Deliveroo?

50ShadesOfEarlGrey · 27/05/2016 08:23

Not here either. Commuter town so not exactly rural.

BathshebaDarkstone · 27/05/2016 09:49

Done! The DC have even chosen the restaurant and the dishes already! Grin

silviuccia · 27/05/2016 09:59

not available in my area :(

BathshebaDarkstone · 27/05/2016 10:00

Just looked at the menu and we'd be hard pushed to spend the whole £40. Does that matter?

sfancy · 27/05/2016 10:03

We are in the area, yah!!!

AdmiralCLingus · 27/05/2016 10:06

It says that it's not available in my postcode (just outside Birmingham) but I've seen the deliveroo bike around here!!!! Rubbish!

Buttons23 · 27/05/2016 10:11

Not here either and we are in a London boroughConfused

walkingtheplank · 27/05/2016 10:13

Not in my part of London :-(

ChickyDuck · 27/05/2016 10:15

How will we get the voucher if we are seelected?

BathshebaDarkstone · 27/05/2016 10:21

Chicky the OP says that you will have to sign up with Deliveroo and your account will be credited with £40. Smile

RebeccaEMumsnet · 27/05/2016 10:22

Hi Again!

To answer your questions:

  • The credit will be electronically added to your account.
  • You can sign up even if you have an existing account.
  • It doesn't matter if you will struggle to spend the whole credit amount.

Thanks! Grin
