Q1. They looked good-quality - strong and durable bags and were fit for purpose.
Q2. Yes I do tend to buy whatever bags are on offer and sometimes find that the perforated tear bits between each bags don't tear properly and sometimes cause you to rip the bottom of the bags so you end up wasting bags. Also I don't find the bags very strong.
Q3. Stronger than bags I've used in the past.
Q4. Very likely but will depend on the price point to see if I can justify the extra cost per bag.
Q5. Highly likely to purchase online if price right and don't have to bulk buy as storage of multiple boxes could be an issue.
Q6. I would definitely recommend the bags to friends and family as they are strong and durable.

Cambam2010 · 21/03/2016 12:51

Tested the 30L bags

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Very impressed that for a product test we received a whole box (40) of bags. The box was a bit battered where it had been through the postal service. The box opened easily and it was easy to pull out the end bag.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
My current choice of bin bags are not great. They tear as you try to get them off of the roll and they do not fit in my bin properly. The Visqueen bag fitted my Brabantia bin very well. The top was a snug fit so no waste dropped through to the bin and the length was just right.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Really strong bag. Didn't have to worry about it ripping.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I would buy these if the price was competitive

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I would prefer to buy them in a store as I am never home to receive packages and resent paying postage.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would recommend them. They were a good fit and very strong.

BestLaidPlans · 21/03/2016 13:18

I tested the 50l bags.
Q1. Like the box to keep them corralled, easy to separate, fitted well in bin, no rips or leaks so far, so great.

Q2. I usually buy the recycled/biodegradable kind. They don't tear well off the roll and rip easily, so in the main, a bit frustrated . In terms of environmental impact, Visqueen don't compare favourably, but in terms of ease, utility and strength, Visqueen are superior.

Q3. Much better, we don't have wheels bins here, rubbish goes straight outside. There were far fewer rips in the bag from foxes this morning, I didn't have to rebag at all. No rips coming out of the bin either.

Q4. Very likely if the price is right.

Q5. Quite likely, especially if on Subscribe and Save.

Q6. I did this morning actually, to a neighbour (exciting school gate chat!)

Bippidee · 21/03/2016 14:45

30L tested

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Very positive so far.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Generally frustrated by usual bags. The Visqueen bags don't make a mess in the drawer. The roll is very neat.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
I would say they are about the same, maybe even a bit stronger. The handles feel pretty durable and do not stretch alarmingly if the bag is very full.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Very likely.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I would purchase online as I do 90% of the household shopping online.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend for the durability, ease of dispensing and strength.

IsThisNameTaken · 21/03/2016 15:11

I tested the 50L bags.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
box was very heavy compared to my usual bags so was expecting very thick, quality bags and wasn't disappointed on this score. I was surprised they were white though - I wouldn't choose white as my bin is black so I use black ones that don't stand out.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I use very, very cheap bags normally! generally don't have any problems though, but this is probably because we don't have an awful lot of rubbish. Vast majority is recycled (paper, card, cans, bottles, plastic containers, food waste) so nothing heavy goes in the bin. My usual bags do occaisionally tear when getting the bag out of the bin and the Visqueen ones have shown no signs of that so far.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Much, much stronger than any bag i have ever used.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
It would depend on the price. I imagine these will be about 10 times more expensive per bag than my usual ones!

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Yes, if cheaper than in a supermarket.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Again, would depend on the price.

Footle · 21/03/2016 17:32

Not a tester, but are these biodegradable ?

MrsSchadenfreude · 21/03/2016 21:14

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Good quality, thick, clearly not going to rip when full of rubbish (including sacks of used cat litter!). I liked the box for tidy storage.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
We usually buy the Brabantia ones to fit the bin - they are OK, but sometimes rip if overloaded. Visqueen don't fit the bin quite as neatly, but seem to be much stronger.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Good - very strong, good quality.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I would use them. We are renovating our house at the moment, which generated a lot of rubbish. I'd be happy to buy Visqueen 50l bags to fill with junk, as I' be secure in the knowledge that they won't tear.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Very likely via Amazon Prime.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, if they were looking for strong bin liners.

OneWordTwoSyllables · 22/03/2016 06:52

Q1. I wasn't too keen on the packaging of the bin liners. I also didn't like that they were in a box as it made them difficult to store. I ended up taking the roll out. These are both quite subjective things though that I'm sure others would disagree with. The bin liners themselves looked high quality and I liked that they were white rather than the usual black.

Q2. I usually avoid cheaper bin liners as I used to have them tear or leak a lot. Even though I now but better quality ones I still have the odd leak of bin juice in the bottom of the bin which is gross. The Visqueen bin liners were so thick and strong - this didn't happen on the ones we tested and I feel quite confident that they would never leak.

Q3. Visqueen are definitely the strongest bin liners I've ever used.

Q4. If these were the right price I would probably purchase them. However, I would like to know more about how they are made. As they are such good quality I worry about throwing them away and how much this is impacting the environment.

Q5. Again, if the price worked out reasonable and my concerns about the environment were alleviated, I would probably purchase these online.

Q6. I would definitely recommend the bin liners if I was sure they were environmentally friendly.

purplepandas · 22/03/2016 12:01

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Great, they looked strong and effective! Not at all flimsy.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Normal bin liners are poor. They often split when putting them on the bin which is annoying. The Visqueen ones were much better and did not split.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
See above point. The Visqueen ones were much stronger and did the job (unlike others).

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I would if they were sold in places that I could purchase them. I was very impressed!

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I would if Amazon.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, they have actually convinced me that not all bin liners are rubbish. Something that is strong and fit for purpose.

Catty212 · 22/03/2016 12:44

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
They looked ok when I first opened them. Packing was small which is good for storage and the bags look strong. I wasn't keen on the brand named being printed over the bag.
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?
My usual bin liners are generally quite good. They're quite good quality though they do sometimes split around the next when pulling them from the bin. Visqueen Ultimate bin liners are strong in comparison but the neck of the bag is quite narrow and it's a little difficult stretching it over the bin for use.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past? They are the strongest bags I have ever used, with no tearing experienced at all.
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags? I am likely to repurchase providing they're not more expensive than my current brand.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)? I buy a lot from Amazon so I wouild add these to my shopping list,
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? Yes, they're good. They do they job without any fuss.

Ditsy79 · 22/03/2016 13:36

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
When they arrived, I wondered if they would fit my tall pedal bin, as they are marketed as swing-bin liners on the box - however they fit perfectly. I noticed they didn't seem as flimsy as the brand I normally buy.
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I buy supermarket own brand bin liners, as I don't see the point in spending a fortune on something that is going to be binned. Generally, the cheaper the bin bag, the poorer the quality - my current bin bags have a habit of coming apart at the collar (where the drawstring is), or ripping when my DH overstuffs the bin. However, we had neither of these problems with Visqueen bin liners.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Much stronger than other bin liners I have tried in the past.
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Although Visqueen bin liners are much stronger and higher quality than the bin liners I currently use, I think £6.06 for 40 bags is too pricey (I currently pay £4.60). At the end of the day, they all just end up in the wheelie bin anyway! I might buy them if they were on a good special offer though.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I would consider buying online, if it was worth my while in terms of price.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would tell friends and family that Visqueen bin liners are fantastically strong, although I don't think this would justify the extra cost.

Ditsy79 · 22/03/2016 13:38

Forgot to say I tested the 30L bags!

JulesJules · 22/03/2016 16:43

I am testing the 50L bags.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Very good. Big, strong bin bags and I like the drawstring top. Also the dispensing box.
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
These are much better than the usual ones we get - DH tends to get the cheapy value ones which are hopeless. They rip really easily. Even the stronger ones from the supermarket often tear depositing rubbish and cat litter everywhere as you take the rubbish out.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are much stronger

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I would consider it, definitely

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Well we usually get binbags as part of a supermarket shop, but I suppose that something you would only need to buy 2-3 times a year you could buy differently - and we do already get a lot of things from Amazon.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I definitely would recommend them as an excellent stong binliner

ditsygal · 22/03/2016 17:05

Q1. I liked the branding and the bags felt thick to start with, but the first one i used split along the top where it sat on the rim of the bin when I emptied the bin. It wasn't that full or heavy so in that way I found them worse then usual bags! although the material felt nice and thick
Q2. I am generally quite satisfied with bin liners, although they can be a bit flimsy and can tear if something sharp is in them.Visqueen felt thicker but then split at the top on one bag so that put me off.
Q3. stronger material but split near the top all around, so actually didn't live up to their strength claim for me.
Q4. possibly if the price was right, but I wouldn't pay anymore then normal for them.
Q5. I would purchase online if the price was right, and the product was a bit better
Q6. not really, the price is too high, for a product that didn't live up to its claims for me. Sorry.

VickyRsuperstar · 22/03/2016 18:38

Hi :-)
I tested the 50L bags
Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I thought they were really good and very strong. I loved the drawstring and the handy box they come in. I kept the box on the counter top and they were very easily accessible. I liked the way they dispensed. They were amazing that you could fill the bags right up (50L) which could end up very heavy and they still held everything without ripping. They were almost too good to use for the garbage!

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I haven't been very satified with the binliners we have been using as they often rip when I fill them up and then I end up using 2. Standard bags are also often very hard to tie up - the drawstring on these bags solved that very easily. The Visqueen Ultimate bin liners were amazing, we had no rips as they were so strong.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are way stronger than other bin liners that I've used in the past. We have been doing a huge clear out and Spring clean involving emptying the kids rooms of lots of spiky accumulated junk and toys. The bags were so strong that they took all the broken toys and junk which was a considerable weight and there were no rips or tears in the bags which was a first. I found the drawstrings very handy to hang the bags on the door handles while we were clearing out too!

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I like them very much, but I am a little offput by the cost, I'm not sure I could justify it despite being a really good product. If the price was a bit less or some good offers, then yes I would definitely get them in preference to other bags.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I buy a lot of stuff online so I would be very happy to do so. I buy a lot from Amazon so it would be very handy.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would definitely recommend them to family and friends as they are a great product and very strong.

Thanks for letting me try your product as I was very impressed with the bags

Doubtfuldaphne · 22/03/2016 18:49

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I liked the packaging, they look very different to normal boring bin liners. They also looked really strong and durable

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I am generally happy with the bin liners I use, they're always heavy duty ones with handles though, I think they're made for garden waste! I can't be doing with thin liners that break all the time. Visqueen are even more durable as the heavy duty bin liners I use.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They're the strongest ever! I love the quality.
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I would purchase them. Why settle for anything less? You've converted me.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I don't think I'm organised enough to get them from Amazon..I would be more likely to buy them as part of my shop in the supermarket.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would definitely recommend them to everyone. They're so much better than any other brand I've used!

librarypictures · 22/03/2016 19:28

I tested the 30 litre bin bags
Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners? Very strong and good quality
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them? Frustrated as they often tear
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past? They are much stronger and take a larger capacity (was able to compact the litter down without fear of the bag splitting)
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags? Would definitely consider buying them as they are much better quality and you are getting more bags than in standard supermarket packs of bin bags
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)? Yes I would buy from Amazon / online
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would recommend - they are excellent

Zuzi · 22/03/2016 20:30

The box looked a little bit bulky but actually quite practical in the end.

They are very strong and sturdy. I like that.

Yes, I would recommend them if the price was good.

Allice · 22/03/2016 20:46

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I'm really quite impressed, although they are not as deep as I thought I needed but they fit my bin well.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I normally buy more expensive liners and find them ok, the Visqueen liners were as good as my normal ones, not sure that they are better.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Very happy with their strength, as good as my usual ones.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
If the price is competitive with my normal bags I'd be happy to buy Visqueen.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I originally thought no, I wouldn't buy them on line although thinking about it bin bags are one of those items I always forget so perhaps a regular online order would be better.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them, they are very strong and I like that they are white!

Allice · 22/03/2016 20:46

Sorry, I tested the 50l bags

weasel6 · 22/03/2016 21:43

30litre bags
Q1. Excellent - very strong, easy to use.
Q2. Bin liners are a total pain, we have a weird shaped bin and nothing fits them, plus they all rip really easily, we have tried loads of different kinds. However we have found one type that fits and doesn't usually rip. Visqueen fit and was much sturdier than this type we normally buy but I wouldn't definitely swap to Visqueen as the price quoted on the survey was almost £2 more per 40 than we pay and I wouldn't put them as that much better.
Q3. Much stronger than other binbags
Q4.Very likely, if they were the right price, or if the alternative cheaper one was not available.
Q5. Pretty unlikely. I do have Prime so if they were the right price and I could Prime deliver them I might stock up in advance if I was being organised.
Q6. I'd say they were very strong.

Birnamwood · 22/03/2016 23:54

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I tested the 30l bags and my first impression was that they looked up to the job and were better/thicker than my usual brand (brabantia)
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I have used Brabantia bags for years as they fitted my bin and didn't have the visible overhang that you can sometimes get with other/own brands. Unfortunately, in their wisdom, Brabantia changed the bags and they became almost unusable - easily ripped, especially when removing from the bin or on the way to the wheelie bin. I have an emergency roll of black bags for when the top of the Brab liners invariably ripped clean off and it became impossible to remove without decanting. Visqueen bags are like Brabantia bags of old and I'm very impressed. They fit the bin well, are easy to use and don't tear easily. The only possible downside, and it is not a biggie, as the bags are on a roll it can be a little trickier to get one out than the Brab liners as they are already separated. I sometimes found it hard to see the perforations so I pulled more off than I needed, but as I said, no biggie.
(just another I've thought of - there are no perforated holes in the bags near the top, which means there can sometimes be a vacuum effect when removing. Not a massive problem but can make it a bit tricky)
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are very strong. I even filled it with some grass clippings and left for a few days - it didn't even rip then!
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Very likely.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
It would be nice to buy them from a supermarket but I would buy them from Amazon
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes. Definitely

PurpleCrazyHorse · 23/03/2016 07:51

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I think they are great. We've had no tears, either of the bag or the drawstring. I like the box they come in as it's easy to store them in the cupboard without them falling out (unlike all the other rolls of bags!).

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I'm reasonably frustrated with the bin liners we have. I buy supermarket branded drawstring ones and they often tear when pulling them out of the bin or tear when closing the drawstring. They don't leak at the bottom though, so I can usually tie the top of the bag to stop any rubbish falling out. The Visqueen bags are far superior, I've not had a single one tear (and I've used 3-4 now).

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are of superior strength and quality to the supermarket bin bags and probably similar to the Brabantia branded ones we initially bought for our bin.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Depending on the price, then yes, they would be my premium bin liner of choice. However, we stopped buying Brabantia liners because of the cost and sadly accept the tearing of cheaper bags.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I'd purchase them online if there was free postage, otherwise I'd rather purchase them with my supermarket shop. I would consider making a special trip somewhere to buy them (e.g. only stocked in one supermarket or shop where we don't regularly shop). I do buy other things (like cat litter tray liners) on Amazon so would consider buying via Amazon as I could combine with other items to get free postage.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I'd recommend them as a high quality bag, obviously I might need to add a caveat (or restrict who I recommend them to) if the price is high. Clearly they will be a higher price due to thicker plastic, but how high??? I think I'd rather buy them in a big packet to reduce cost per bag, we go through 1-2 bags a week, so the 40 in the box will last quite a while.

Elliecherry · 23/03/2016 08:15

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Very strong, probably the strongest I have seen. I liked that they were in a box. I prefer black to white but that's not really important.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Visqueen bin liners are way stronger than what we normally have. The ones we normally have are ok but not great, they sometimes tear as we lift the bag out, if we over fill it or lift it by the cord. Visqueen haven't done that and they didn't seem likely to either.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Much stronger, they seem unlikely to split.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
It depends on the price, at a good price I would for sure.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Less likely, as I try and do all my shopping in one go at a supermarket so I don't forget things. But I wouldn't rule it out.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes for strength, because they seem to be the best I have tried. (price would need to be right).

Thanks for picking us mumsnet! :)

I trialled the 30l bin liners.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

They looked very strong. The box was huge!

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I'm generally satisified with the liners I normally use. I use Brabantia as they have been reliable for me. I have tried some supermarket own brands, but some of them tore easily. The visqueen bin liners were much stronger and once I'd removed the liner from the bin I was able to empty some other room rubbish bins into it.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Visqueen seemed stronger. I squashed loads of rubbish in and they held firm. I have had a problem of the tie snapping in the past which is very annoying, but these ones were great.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

I would definitely consider buying Visqueen, although I'd like to know the price!

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Yes, I'd consider that. I have Amazon Prime and buy quite a lot of household stuff through them.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I'd recommend, although it would be dependent on the price!
