We hadt he 50l bags
What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Packaged in a sensible way, no bin liners falling out of the cupboard type scenario. Strong good value for money. People might say they are expensive but no need for double bagging.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?
We use simple human bag which fit our simple human bin perfectly ( shaped to fit the bin). They are ok but not as strong us the Visqueen. Have the occasional leak...

How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Visqueen much thicker and also seem stronger.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Strongest ones we used so far plus like the closing string.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
If they would make bags to fit our kitchen bin, definately. Or of we get a new bin and they would fit would definitely consider.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Would order those on a monthly basis to get the 10-15% discount on save and subscrive Amazon.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I cant see how binliners would come up in conversation with friends but if it did I would recommend them, yes!

Givemecoffeeplease · 18/03/2016 19:29

1 looked strong. Didn't like the strong branding on the bag but liked the drawstring close.

2 I hate bin liners! I don't trust them not to split. These ones seemed stronger. However I'd like them to be biodegradable.

3 very strong. No splits. Confident leaving them on the kitchen floor before putting them out.

4 price dependent would absolutley use these and buy them.

5 happy to buy via Amazon especially as I am a prime member.

6 yes - stressing the no split bags.

I tested 30l bags.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 18/03/2016 19:32

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
They were good and solid. I like the drawstring. Sometimes drawstrings are not strong enough to lift the bag with, but I had no problem with Visqueen. Really happy with them.
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I do make a point of buying strong bin liners. There's nothing worse than the flimsy ones that just fall apart when you try to lift them. I was pleased with the quality and thickness of these. The ones I usually use have tie handles rather than a drawstring, I prefer the drawstring of these.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They're certainly as good as, if not better, than the bin liners I use. I already make a point of choosing the strong ones. I had no problems at all.
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
As long as the price was right I would definitely buy them.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I don't usually buy household items on there, but I have in the past when the product was worth it. Especially if I could set up a regular order.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would. They're good quality. My only concern would be the cost. I would happily say that they were solid, reliable bags.

NorbertDentressangle · 18/03/2016 19:46

We tested the 50L bags (although on reflection we should have tried the smaller size)

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Loved the easy dispense/easy store box. DPs first reaction was positive as he recognised the brand as being one that produces damp proof course membrane! The quality and thickness were impressive and noticeable as soon as you start unravelling them. There were no tears or rips from the sharp corners of items. They also stood up to being carried to the spot where the bin men collect from without leaving a trail of rubbish.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Our local council supply a limited amount of bin bags per household but the quality of them is very poor. We've often said we wish they'd deduct some money off our Council Tax and not bother supplying them as they often split and rip - so frustrating.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are the strongest I've used or bought (although admittedly I've never spent a huge amount on them in the past)

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
It would depend on the cost of them really - if they were on offer then probably . If I needed strong ones for a specific purpose then yes I would buy them.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I would normally purchase bin bags in the supermarket or somewhere like Wilkinsons if needed. If I wanted a specific brand eg. Visqueen then I would consider buying them on Amazon but only if they were a good price and there was no P&P (I refuse to pay for Amazon Prime!!)

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, if someone wanted a good quality, strong bag I would recommend them as we've been impressed at their quality and liked the box for ease of use.

CordeliaScott · 18/03/2016 19:48

I tested the 50l bags.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Very tough and will not rip when other bags tried do like when overfilled.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I am happy with the price point but they rip too easy. Visqueen are much tougher than these and I am very happy with them.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are the strongest bin liners that I have ever used.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I would not pay £8 for them. There are better things to spend money on. However if they were on offer and closer to my normal price I would definitely buy them.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Not willing to purchase at current price but I have no issue with buying online.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
If they were loaded and bin obsessed yes but I think that they are expensive for bin liners no matter how good they are.

ScarlettDarling · 18/03/2016 19:54

Q1. Love them! Really thick and strong. The drawstring handle is great, never snaps like on Asda own bags handle. Loved the packaging. Definitely v impressed, a great product!

Q2. I usually buy Asda own brand and I'm generally satisfied although they do tear fairly easily if anything remotely sharp is put in the bin. Also, there's sometimes an issue with the drawstring handle snapping as I mentioned in Q1. However, even though I'm generally fairly satisfied with my usual brand, I far prefer the Visqueen ones!

Q3. By far the strongest I've used!

Q4. I would definitely consider buying them...if the price was right. I wouldn't mind paying a little more than for the own brand bags I usually buy, but wouldn't be willing to pay lots more.

Q5. I would prefer to buy from a supermarket. I'd be unlikely to remember to order them if I had to buy online, I'd end up running out and going to the supermarket to buy some. Also, I wouldn't be prepared to pay for delivery of bin bags.

Q6. Yes, I'd definitely recommend. They are a real good quality product.

StealthPolarBear · 18/03/2016 19:59

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Impressed. Strong, thick, in a dispensing box.
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I don't have a brand I use, I just grab whatever is handy from wherever I'm shopping. Sometimes they can be thin but most of the time the bin bags don't really register.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Much better
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Depends on price and tbh if anything else is on offer. I think I'd pay about £4-5 for that big box.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Probably not. Bin bags tend to be something I grab when I run out or if I'm organised, slightly before.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I'd say they were good quality but whether I'd recommend would depend on price.

Traceyedd · 18/03/2016 20:04

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners? I was impressed, they looked strong and easy to use. I didnt like the excessive branding over the bags but this would not be a deal breaker.
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them? I hate the bin liner handles. too fiddly for my fat fingers and breaks easily. That said i dont buy expensive ones.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past? Brilliant strength, one of the best i have ever used.
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags? I would consider it though the liners would need to be a different shape as they didnt fot my swing bin opening as they were too narrow.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)? This is not a product i would think to buy online, i get them in the supermarket as i run out.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes for particular activities eg. sorting/decluttering/spring clean but probably not for everyday use. They seem too good for light rubbish and the wrong shape for most bins.

Traceyedd · 18/03/2016 20:05

I forgot to add i tried the 30L bags!

WishToBeWell · 18/03/2016 20:21

I received and am reviewing the 50 litre bags (there are 40 bags in dispenser)

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

I never thought this was a sentence I would ever write, but these bin liners are truly the dogs Wink

They are now awarded the moniker of being: My bin liner of choice Grin

Genius point of differentiation from other bin liners is that they come not in a roll that then unloops wildly everywhere but in a dispenser, so you simply pull the bag up and rip it off. SUCH a bloody simple idea (& saves both space & frustration) but not something I'd ever seen before. Impressed enough with it to have bothered taking a photo so other MN'ers can see the dispensing mechanism.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Invariably dissatisfied with previous liners due to a combo of tears, leaks, handle snapping etc etc (& interestingly, price point doesn't seem to have made a difference, IE have bought >>££ ones previously, only for them to be as crap as cheaper ones. The sheer strength of the Visqueen liners just knocks all of the others I've tried out of the ball park.

To be honest, you can't really compare them, as the Visqueen ones are in a league of their own - they are the strongest ones I've ever seen or used; the dispensing is neat and easy; NO leakage even when used in the recycling bin so full of soft drink cans that my sons had left dregs in still had some liquid in them but not so much as a drop of seepage!

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Way, way, WAY stronger than any I've used before, and stronger than I could have imagined them to be. DS2 (strong as an Ox) used one to over load with THE most enormous amount of 'stuff' he'd brought back from Uni - really hefty weight in it and with corners sticking out everywhere, but the plastic just going with it instead of the usual scenario of corners going through it - and it didn't so much as rumple, let alone split. Ditto not once have the handles split due to the weight in the bag, something that has happened on so many previous ocassions with other brands inc. the super expensive ones Envy

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

There will be zero 'consideration' of buying them, I WILL be buying them - never in a million years did I think I could get excited about bin liners Blush but these really are just staggering, you HAVE to try them. Genuinly, this is the rare kind of product that would have motivated me to write an MN review for it given it is SO much better than anything else on the market.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Hugely likely as ALL of my shopping is done through either Tesco or Amazon. Should fess that there a box of Visqueen already sitting in my basket on Amazon ready for the next order I place, so it's already way beyond a 'likely' with this happy bunny of a customer Grin

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Absolutely. Unequivocally. Any other words that mean the same as aforementioned! It's one of those products that you would overtly mention to others as the best to buy given just how enormous the improvement is in these vs. the others that all of are used to.

And no, nor did I ever envisage myself raising bin liners as a conversation point so 10/10 to both Visqueen & MNHQ Smile and a massive thanks for having been given the opportunity to try these out - and I really am SUPER glad was chosen to try these as the frustrations of 'ordinary' bin liners, whilst seemingly petty in the overall schema of things, are actually a real bloody issue especially, if like me, maybe you are not quite 100% in the health department and all things already an effort....

Seriously, who wants the hassle of emptying the bins only to discover you have a trail of liquid following you down the hall, or the wretched thing splitting on you and spilling everywhere, or the handles snapping off and then left with trying to carry it with the bottom of the bag resting in your arms - ALL of those are things that could and would reduce me to tears right now given so unwell, but I know there is ZERO chance of any of those happening with these and that's why I already have my next box waiting for me in my Amazon basket.

These might be pricier than your average bin liner but they are seriously worth it so all I can do, my lovely l'il nest of vipers, is to say give them a shot - seriously, you will NOT regret it!

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Good quality strong liner.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

We recently bought a simplehuman bin. The simplehuman liners for the bin are ok and fit well but ridiculously expensive. We ended up using supermarket own brand garden sacks as they are quite strong but way too big and there's lots of excess hanging over the side of the bin.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

These liners are really strong. Seem to be much stronger than the garden sacks we buy.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Yes definitely.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Would buy online if there is no shipping charge. Would be good if they came in smaller pack sizes as the roll of 40 is very large.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

probably would but can't imagine bin liners coming up in conversation.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 18/03/2016 20:38

Sorry! I reviewed the 50L bags :)

Fluffywuffyunicorn · 18/03/2016 20:46

Q1 really impressed. They will are really strong.
Q2 I hate bin liners usually, because they always rip when pulling out of the bin. But these were so impressive. Never ripped.
Q3 Probably the strongest on the market.
Q4 depends on the price really. But I'd definitely buy these if money wasn't an issue.
Q5 I always buy things on amazon, not too sure if I'd buy these online. More of a supermarket item.
Q6 yes, I would recommend. They are really strong. Packaged well. Strong tie handle.

Overall I really did like these bags. Everything is a plus except price. But I guess you pay for quality.

Roseformeplease · 18/03/2016 20:50
  1. They are thick, strong and seem really good quality.
  2. Other bags rip quite easily, but are cheap.
  3. Much stronger - not just the bag, but the seams too, and the ties.
  4. Price dependant but yes. Would buy if not too expensive.
  5. I buy a lot online(remote location) so would buy them from Amazon, or from supermarket.
  6. Yes, but not the sort of thing we usually chat about over a cup of tea. I suppose I do talk about product tests at work sometimes so could recommend them that way. Also, loved the easy dispenser. They are great. Thanks so much.
Uneasypeasy · 18/03/2016 20:52

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Testing the 50l bags. Felt "substantial"! Liked that they came in a box , but DH took them out and chucked the box! I had no concerns about splits or spills.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Usual liners split every time I pull the full bin out. But they're cheap enough for something I just throw away! Visqueen are tough (in fact I struggled to tear the perforation but I'm a weakling), the price point maybe another higher than I'd pay though.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Very strong. No sign of splitting when pulling out the full bag.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Very. Depending on price.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

In theory, if they were cheaper online then yes, I would ... but this is the real world and I will run out and need to dash to the shops at the last minute when even Amazon prime can't help me!)

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes. They do a job and do it well. Price point Isley though I think.

Jitterybug · 18/03/2016 21:08

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Fantastic quality product. I liked the box dispenser, although found them quite difficult to tear. They could possibly do with being a bit wider, especially at the top.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Never felt much either way about my bin liners, but then I didn't know what I was missing before. Visqeen were far superior, no tears, leaks and good strong handles.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Far superior, indestructible even.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

I wouldn't hesitate to buy them for the right price.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I wouldn't really think to buy bin bags online, so unlikely.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend them, the best around for sure.

PeopleOnTheEdgeOfTheNight · 18/03/2016 21:20

I tested the 30l size.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Nicely packaged, surprisingly strong. I liked the white colour (I dislike black bags)

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Generally satisfied. These were much stronger and seemed more expensive. I don't think I'd use them in my small bun day to day, but they'd be useful to have side for heavy or broken items.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Far stronger.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Depends on price, I like them but I don't need this level of strength in my small kitchen bin.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Fairly likely, depending on price .

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yrs, if they had a tall kitchen bin.

watfordmummy · 18/03/2016 21:29

impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Again trialling the 30l bags, and they are a struggle to get over lips of bin. Very strong, and like the box
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
*
Usually just supermarket own brand so much stronger*

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
*
So much stronger*
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
*
Don't know, like they don't rip but is it sad that I find them quite ugly?*
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
*
Buy lots online, but would normally buy bin liners with groceries (don't know why!!)*
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
*
Not sure I would, although strong, not appealing*

ldt87 · 18/03/2016 21:30

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

I liked the design, the box and the durable feel of them. I was impressed with the quality.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I hate that my bin liners always seem to rip as I empty them! So I have to use two per bin full. I was really impressed with how strong these are, no rips yet.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Much stronger than my usual supermarket brand.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Very likely depending on price /special offers

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Very likely as I do most of my shopping online.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I have and would. They are good quality and I've been impressed with them.

ldt87 · 18/03/2016 21:32

I reviewed 50l bags.

Shiraznowplease · 18/03/2016 21:34

I tested the 50L liners

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I absolutely love them. They are really really strong and didn't tear even when using them to carry books up to school for the school fayre. My husband often overfilled our old liners which frequently broke and spilled bin juice over the floor. YUK! These didn't at all. I loved the fact they came in a dispenser pack so fitted neatly under the stairs. I like they were drawstring and that the 'drawstring' didn't snap and that they were white do you could easily see them in the bin to aid removal

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?
How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

I am always on the search for strong liners and probably have tried most brands and supermarket own brands, none I have been happy with. The visqueen ultimate bin liners are the 'ultimate' in bin liners and are amazingly strong

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

These are the strongest and best bin liners I have ever used. They stood up to taking garden waste to the tip contains the grass cuttings from first lawn cut of the year. They were amazing

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

I would definitely definitely buy these.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I would prefer to buy from a supermarket as I tend to buy as I need them rather than plan ahead, however if this was the only way I could get hold of them then I would buy from Amazon especially as I have prime so wouldn't cost me anything for delivery

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend to family and friends. These survived intact no matter how much we filled them or what we put in them. I even gave a few to my friend who was moving house and they didn't break despite being filled with lots of heavy bedding. This is the thing I have loved the most that I have tested for mumsnet

WelliesTheyAreWonderful · 18/03/2016 21:41

I tested the 50 litre bags.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I liked that they came in a box rather than a packet and was impressed by their strength.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I get annoyed if my normal in-liners split.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Much stronger, I'd be surprised if they split.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Very likely as long as they aren't too expensive.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Very unlikely.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes.

PigInMuck86 · 18/03/2016 21:53

Q1. Very impressed - really strong and durable. We had builders in and the bags were strong enough to hold rubble.

Q2. Current ones we use often rip or leak liquid. Visqueen are much stronger and don't leak

Q3. Strongest I've tried

Q4. Depends on price

Q5. Most likely to buy in supermarket

Q6. Possibly depending on price

boptanana · 18/03/2016 21:54

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Great
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?
Frustrated, they often rip or tear as often they are stuffed to the brim before being emptied.
How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Much stronger, better quality all round.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
As above
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
It would depend if they were on sale in convenient places, or regular supermarkets but if they were then yes!
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Very willing.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. Great. Stored in a roll in a box and clear plastic.
  2. Frustrated. The perforations rip leaving holes in the bag and are often thin and rip very easily. Visqueen tear along the line easily, and are much stronger and durable.
  3. So much stronger!! After filling the bin, I took the bag out and found I still had room left. I emptied BOTH cat litter trays into it, not just a bit, two whole trays and they did not split, break or in any way spill stuff on the carry out to the bin. It was too heavy to carry so dp did it.
  4. Yes I definitely will buy these again.
  5. Yes. As someone with a disability, anything I can order online is great, especially on a repeat order system.
6.I will definitely recommend these and may pass a couple on for family to test.

Visqueen is the bin bag I've been searching for for years. Thanks for picking me. I'm really happy with these.
