Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I tested the 30L bin liners.
1 - looked nice, liked that they're packaged in a box, easy to store.
2 - used to use brabantia branded bin liners but too expensive so switched to tesco own brand as cheaper although they tend to tear when emptying the bin.
3 - they're much stronger. My bin was very full and heavy but the bag didn't tear. Very impressed.
4 - very likely if they were on offer. But you get what you pay for, and although pricey, the quality shows.
5 - probably bulk buy on Amazon.
6 - would definitely recommend. The quality is better than brabantia or tesco own brand ones.

furryleopard · 18/03/2016 22:18

We tested the 30L bags. Thanks for picking us we've enjoyed testing!

  1. Overall we think these liners are good quality, stronger than our normal brand. I liked the box idea although took a while to figure it out how to use it. I wasn't keen on the writing on the bag itself. We also found these bags slid out of our bin much easier than our normal liners we usually have to shuffle them out or hold our bin down and pull the liner out at the same time. These just slipped out which we are thinking might be from the strength of the plastic.
  1. We do find bin juice (?!) leakage a bit of an issue with other liners we have used so not sure if that's poor seams or rips. It's frustrating then to carry bags out through our house. We haven't had any leakage with these liners.
  1. We have found these liners good, they are stronger.
  1. We would buy them if they were reasonably priced.
  1. I wouldn't buy liners from somewhere like Amazon to be honest I'd only purchase them if they were in the supermarket.
  1. I would recommend yes, they are good quality.

Forgot to say I tested 50l bags

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I was surprised to find my husband and myself having a very animated conversation about exactly how good these bin liners are! I can safely say the only conversation we have ever had about bin liners before is of of the 'quick help, it's split' variety!
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I do find the typical ones we buy frustrating, at least one in every three rips or leaks even though I don't buy hugely cheap ones- and so far the Visqueen Ultimate bags stand up extremely well against them.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners
compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are much stronger. I have deliberately put them to the test filling the bin to bursting and they have had no problems. I have also used them to bag stuff up for the loft and there have been no rips or tears and normally everything would need bagging at least twice.
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Yes if the price was competitive or at least only slightly more expensive per bag then I would definitely purchase these.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Well I wouldn't object to buying them online if the price worked out but it would mean making a change to my buying habits which is easier said than done because like most people I tend to either wander round the supermarket feeling dazed and sticking the same things in my trolley or I add my 'favourites' when using a supermarket online shop. If I could remember to make a conscious effort to order online (before we ran out!) I would certainly do so.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would, they are the best bin liners we have come across

CMOTDibbler · 18/03/2016 22:57

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners? They really are strong and sturdy
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? Frustrated. They leak and split How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them? Soooo much better
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past? We've previously bought Lakeland bags as the best we could get, and they are better than them, and vastly better than supermarket ones
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags? Very
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)? Very - in fact I've already bought the refuse bags on Amazon - I have prime and its very convenient for me
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes

Itscurtainsforyou · 18/03/2016 23:25

Q1.
I really liked them, strong and handy drawstring.
Q2.
Currently use supermarket bags (supply quickly running out!) so these are brilliant by comparison.
Q3.
Very strong
Q4.
Very likely
Q5.
Very likely - I buy most things online
Q6.
Yes - although it might depend on the price!

Wjjkl · 18/03/2016 23:34

I tested the 30l version on my brabantia 30l bin

Q1 - overall impression was that they were strong & durable. Wasn't keen on the cardboard package - seems an unnecessary packaging waste to me as all I did was take the liners out of the box & put them in a drawer.

Q2 - generally frustrated with my usual bin liners - flimsy and rip often especially when trying to transfer a full bin to the wheelie outside. Also if there's any dregs of liquid from (eg) coffee pods, liquid often seeps through and have to clea the whole bin.

Q3 - definitely the best liners I have tried. Very strong and no leaks. Would worry about the environmental impact of such bags though - as they are much thicker, presumably they break down slower and are less environmentally friendly?

Q4 - very likely, but price dependent. Not willing to shell out a lot of money for a bin liner

Q5 - definitely would purchase from eg Amazin. We have Prime so it would actually be easier anyway. Would also buy from a supermarket - we do online shopping so wouldn't matter to me how I purchased

Q6 - yes, they are the best bin liners I have used as they don't break and are very strong. Even my husband (who generally doesn't give a second thought to things like bin bags!) commented on how good they were and where I got them from, so they must be good!

mmmmmmmmmmcake · 18/03/2016 23:37
  1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
My son (who empties the bin most nights commented he likes them. He said they were easy to detach from one another. I liked it that they came in a box, they won't unroll and get messy and I can keep them neatly in the drawer. The quality is great.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Visqueen are much better, much higher quality. I have not been thrilled with my usual bin liners (Tescos own value brand) but I just thought they were cheap and it didn't matter. I now see they were a false economy. I liked the drawstring, it made the whole process less messy and quicker. I could use the drawstring to tighten the bin bags round the top of our bin, instead of it keep falling in the bin all the time. I am a working mum so everything little thing I can do to make my life easier I will do!

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Much stronger. I have been Spring cleaning my house so the bins have been very full. There have been no tips or tears and I didn't need to double up the bags when I lift them like I do sometimes with cheapy ones.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I will definately buy them again. I won't go back to buying cheaper, own brand ones.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I would buy them online, definitely.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes.

JessGG · 19/03/2016 06:55

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

When they arrived I thought they looked rather industrial looking - not that impressed with the packaging - but the liners are fantastic. Totally durable, strong and easy to separate on the roll. Very impressed.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Frustrated with the liners that I currently use as they rip so easily. We have a large bin so the liners we use don't cope with the weight when they're full.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Definitely stronger - I've used about 5 now and each one has remained intact.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

It depends on the price but if they were good value I would certainly purchase these every time.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I currently buy bin liners from Amazon so would be happy to continue to do so.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Definitely would recommend and have already done so :)

Cintacmrs123 · 19/03/2016 06:59

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Visqueen had a easy to store and use container so no more toddler unrolling reams of plastic - they looked good and easy to use
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
The worst thing about bin liners is when you pull them apart but the tear past the seam or even worse when the seam isn't fully cut and you need to be the worlds strongest man to pull them apart.
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past
These are very hard wearing they retain there shape and do not tear which is a blessing and the handles can actually be used without tearing the bag

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I must admit I try to not buy lots online as I am often out when they deliver and end up on a post office detour.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
To he honest never had a bin liner discussion but I would definetly recommend they are hard wearing and no tear or bin juice spillage which is fab.

CheeseAtFourpence · 19/03/2016 07:27

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Great - felt impressive upon first impression in terms of durability and I wasn't mistaken. I hadn't heard of the brand but husband spotted them as I unpacked them and said they were bound to be good - he's a builder so knows the brand!

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

We often get rips or splits and there is usually something lurking at the bottom of the bin. Cleaning it is one of my least favourite jobs. Visqueen liners were so much better - no rips at all.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

They feel pretty indestructible in comparison.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

If the price is right, then absolutely.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I've never thought about doing so - but but a lot of other things - clothes, toys etc online, so yes would consider doing so.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would

MagicAlwaysLeadsToTrouble · 19/03/2016 07:48

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

I was surprised they were not black. Not that it really matters I guess, it's just black is what you expect isn't it? Love the great big box. We always seem to be running out so love that it comes in large quantities.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

We tend to buy the more expensive heavier bin liners after being frustrated with the cheaper ones ripping. We have a big kitchen bin so a lot of rubbish to contain! These, so far, have been great! No rips!

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Definitely at the top! Strong and easy to use.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Fairly likely. I would like them to be available from the supermarket rather than mail order only though.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Amazon I would consider if postage was free. As good as they are I wouldn't pay postage for them when I could get something from the supermarket, even if they were not quite as good.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes. They do the job. They are strong and reliable and that's important.

Tenpastlate · 19/03/2016 08:28

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
strong and robust
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
frustrated as normal binliners rip easily and quality varies. The Visqueen bags belt much stronger and easier to handle without fear of ripping or leaking
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
better quality, but am sure this comes at a price?
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
quite likely, depending on price. Would probably buy them for general use e.g. DIY rather than in kitchen bin unless they were v affordable
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
would buy on Amazon Prime, but more likely from supermarket
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes

BathshebaDarkstone · 19/03/2016 09:17

They looked very good.

We're generally satisfied.

Much stronger.

Depends on the price.

I never buy bin liners online.

Yes, they're very good.

aristocat · 19/03/2016 09:55

I tested the 30L liners

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
Loved the fact that they are in a box rather than a roll which always rolls out of the cupboard and unravels on the kitchen floor. I did almost rip the first one when tearing the perforations and have learnt to be more careful with subsequent ones. I also like the logo on the bags and the drawstring handles. They are fantastic!

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I do not buy any particular brand usually, just grab some in the supermarket. I am satisfied as my bin is a smaller size and therefore doesn't get too heavy/full that often causing the bag to tear. However the Visqueen are simply the best bin liners I have ever seen. They are super strong and durable. I did not believe that I would get excited about a bin liner but how wrong can you be. Everyone needs to give them a try.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
They are the best. Budget liners are too thin causing leaks/rips/tears and a frustrated bin-emptier. There is none of this with Visqueen - you can empty your bin with confidence that it will all be mess free!

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Yes, definitely. I would consider them.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I do not currently buy cleaning products online, it is much easier to get from local stores/supermarkets. If the price was right ..... then I could be tempted to change.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I have already raved about them to my in-laws.

Thanks again MN and Visqueen - a wonderful product and a pleasure to test Smile

zippyants · 19/03/2016 09:55

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Strong - big and fits my bin perfectly - Would defo buy them !

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?

We use Brabantia - now frustrated as they just seem much weaker than they used to be - especially compare to Visqueen!

How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Much more stronger and durable - carrying to the outside bin not an issue with splitting now!

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Again, much better. I have bought bin bags that state "extra strong" just to be disappointed once I start using them. These really are strong.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Yes yes yes yes yes! (I'll have what she's having...........!)

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Would defo consider online - maybe even through regular orders as we do with Brabantia currently. The price must be right though!

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

It would bit a bit strange to talk about bin-liners and all that but I would defo recommend them without a doubt.

stealthsquiggle · 19/03/2016 09:56

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Very good - nicely packaged, good strong box which is likely to survive in a drawer, and I like the drawstrings.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?

Mostly frustrated. We have resorted to buying bulk packs of super strong ones from a catering supplier. The ones which are supplied by our local council are worse than useless.

How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

At least as good as the best ones we have found from catering suppliers.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

At least as strong as the best - infinitely better than most

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

Very price dependant. It's something which I resent spending money on..

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Again. If the price were right, not a problem.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I struggle to imagine the conversation, but if it were to happen then yes, I would recommend them as they seem to do the job well.

carz1985 · 19/03/2016 09:58

Right i tested the 50L liners
Q1: They looked durable which was good
Q2: my usual bin liners usually tear while been taken from the bin but the ones I tested I have had no problems with them which is a plus
Q3: They are very strong and durable i think they are the strongest ones I've used so far
Q4: yes I would consider buying these if they were not too expensive
Q5: I might purchase them off the internet but it would be easier if they were available in supermarkets though as I normally remember when am shopping or my husband reminds me hes used last one
Q6: Yes I would recommend these bin liners purely on how durable they are as its not often you get ones that don't rip

Buzzardbird · 19/03/2016 10:25

I tested the 50L bags. Thank you Visqueen and MN for the opportunity.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

Love them, the box that they come in is very handy for storage, the strength of the bags is great (no leakages, chicken bones not piercing the bags), the tie handles are so much easier to get the full bag out of the bin with and tie up.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Struggle to find bags thick enough usually and generally they don't come with drawstring handles so not really satisfied with typical bin liners (a big issue for DH as he generally has to put them out for collection as I struggle to get them out of the bin when full). Visqueen deliver all the things we like in a bin bag...although I like lemon scented ones if possible.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

We have managed to find similar strength ones to Visqeen in the past but they are very difficult to find.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

We are likely to consider buying them again (especially on-line as this is how I do most of my shopping), but the price will need to be acceptable and free delivery if a certain amount ordered. Ideally, the should be available from supermarket home delivery services.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

I would love to buy them on-line (not necessarily Amazon though), my preference would be to add them to my on-line food shopping.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

If bin liners came up in conversation, I would definitely recommend Visqueen because of all the things that make them unique; the box, the strength and the tie handles.

Pigeonpea · 19/03/2016 10:36

We tested the 30L tall bin liners
1: Really impressed - liked the packaging - easy to store in box and yellow design makes it easy to see in the store cupboard. Easy to pull apart, easy to open up prior to putting into bin. They are very strong bin liners and feel thicker than our normal ones
2: Frustrated - as soon as you try to tug them up out of bin to knot and throw, they split all around the top, so you have to take whole bin inner out
3: Strength is outstanding, we've never had bin liners as strong
4: Definitely consider purchasing
5: Buying from the grocery store would be easier - Amazon ok, but need to be in for delivery
6: Definitely would recommend these bin liners - I've already shared some with my Mum for her to try
My husband was really impressed, as was I

I was invited to try the Visqueen 50 litre bin liners.
My overall experience is they are fantastic. They are strong, thick, easy to use. I also used them for storage bags. The quality is excellent havent had any problems with them not tearing along the perforation and the handles are easy to tie and find the ends of.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
They come in a good sized box which is easy to take out from. they look strong and thick. they have a very visible drawstring. Good sized bag.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
I get frustrated with my present bin liners, they are thin and you can see through them, they often leak and liquid into the bottom of the bin, as you try and take them out of the bin they come apart plus the yellow drawstring I can never find the opening to tie them up. Frustrating is a nice word for them.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
The Visqueen Ultimate bin liners are amazing. Strong easy to use haven't torn apart when removing from the bin no leakages and I can find the drawstring easy to do them up. These bags are so good I don't need to use an additional black bag like with my present liners as these are thick enough to put out on their own for the bin men.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
I would buy them in the future if price was right as one bag can carry a lot of waste whereas before I was using 2 a week with this its only one so more convenient and I wouldn't need black bags with them.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
I don't often purchase online but if they did them in supermarkets I would be more likely. But only if they were a bit cheaper as at moment they are a little over my budget.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would whole heartedly recommend them. They are strong and you don't need other bags to put them in.
:)

PrincessofPersil · 19/03/2016 11:26

I tested the 30L version: -

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
A1: I thought the bags were good and strong. I wasn't keen on the printing on the outside of the bags, or the box. I thought this made the bags look too "trade-like".

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
A2: I've tried a lot of liners, and now buy a supermarket own brand whenever I'm doing an online shop from that supermarket. These Visqueen bags were stronger than my usual bags. I'm generally satisfied with my usual bags, but on rare occasions the bags can tear, which is very frustrating. I feel confident that these Visqueen bags wouldn't tear during use.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
A3: These bags are definitely stronger than any normal household bin liner I've used in the past.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
A4: Unless I was going to use them for a specific job (such as house/garden clearance) or they were on offer, I wouldn't buy them again. My usual bags are much cheaper and are good enough 99% of the time.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
A5: I can't envisage a scenario whereby I'd order bin liners online. I usually just pick them up when I'm in the supermarket or as part of an online grocery shop.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
A6:I would recommend them if a friend/family member was complaining of their usual bags tearing.

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?

They have an industrial look to them, which is neither negative nor positive, are a good size and haven't ripped yet!

The one annoying thing was getting them out of the box, they don't come out one by one - if they are going to be in a box they would be better loose. On a roll as they are now, the box is just a nuisance.

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use?

Frustrated as shop own brand ones are often too thin and tear easily, I find forking out for Brabantia is the only way to prevent this.

How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?

Very similar to the expensive brand in terms of quality.

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?

Similar to Brabantia, better than shop own brands.

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?

If they are priced between shop own brands and Brabantia I would definitely consider it.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?

Unlikely from Amazon, I would get them in a supermarket (however I would also buy as part of online supermarket weekly shop).

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes if the price is right and they fill the gap between weaker shop own brand and expensive brand ones.

Oops, forgot to say, tested 30L bags.

I tested the 50L bags (Thank you)!

Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I really liked them and that the bags were white (sad I know)! They feel really strong but not thick and fit like a glove in my rubbish bin. I also liked the dispenser box they came in rather than dumping them loose in a cupboard Grin

Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Normally I am disatisfied with my bin liners but that is probably because I buy cheap bags. These were far superior!

Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Compared to past bags these are so much stronger, I really pulled at them too. They passed the ultimate test of cleaning out the kids rooms. They had broken plastic thrown in them and all other manner of crap too and still withstood it all!

Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
At the right price, I would definitely purchase these bags.

Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Very likely if the delivery charge didn't bump the price up too much.

Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would most definitely recommend them. Lovely fit for the bin so no waste, extremely durable so no rips and no awful spillage trailing from the bin to the door!
Also, the first thing my daughter said when we opened them was that they didn't smell and that she'd be able to use them. The smell of other bin bags we have purchased have given her a headache so she would use lots of carrier bags to clean out her room.
