Slumberland are looking for 15 Mumsnetters to test out their divan sets with Serene or Tempo mattresses.

Here’s what Slumberland say, "Here at Slumberland we know the importance of sleep as a part of a healthy lifestyle, when you have the best night’s sleep possible, you live longer, look better, feel better, concentrate more and perform better at work and play. We understand how the quality of your bed can affect your sleep. Slumberland mattresses are made using a blend of four innovative materials, so that every aspect of your sleep is nurtured.”

Those selected would need to visit the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon during w/c 22nd February, where testers would select the bed of their choice. Testers will be able to choose from:

  • Double (135cm) or Kingsize (150 cm) divan set
  • Serene or Tempo mattress

If selected, once you have chosen your bed at the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon, your chosen bed will be delivered and set up in the room of your choice within 2-3 weeks. You will need to try the bed for a few weeks and so long as you add feedback as required you will be able to keep the product. You would need to add feedback to a thread on Mumsnet and at the end of the testing period, we'd also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet review pages.

In order to keep the product, you would need to add your feedback by 4th April, so please only apply if you are able to do this.

If you’re interested in taking part please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Almost finished our house rebuild and beds were not in the budget!
So yes please, I would be delighted to visit the factory (I love factorys!) and do extensive reviews!

frowner · 06/02/2016 19:35

Have applied. Really suffering with hip pain at present, so this could be of great benefit.

ldt87 · 06/02/2016 20:35

Done! God I'm so desperate for a new bed, ours is so old and bumpy and uncomfortable Sad

bluebump · 06/02/2016 21:34

Typical, I used to live on the outskirts of Huntingdon and my bed is broken and held together with tape but I'm now in Devon so I'll just keep a watch out for the feedback thread for new bed ideas!

NerrSnerr · 06/02/2016 23:37

Fingers crossed! I have just measured our bedroom and we could get a kingsize!

Hadiever · 06/02/2016 23:42

Have entered. Desperate for a new bed and not too far from me. Smile

IAmNotDarling · 07/02/2016 00:12

I'm not far and I really could do with a new bed. Fingers and toes crossed.

Fairylea · 07/02/2016 07:11

Have signed up :) fingers crossed!

ConkersDontScareSpiders · 07/02/2016 07:41

Signed up! This would be a god send at the moment as lost my bed in separation and had to get a very cheap one to replace it-and it's crippling my back. Also have a work meeting in Huntington that week so it would be almost kismet Smile

OhShutUpThomas · 07/02/2016 09:02

I'm signing up!

Mummystar123 · 07/02/2016 10:33

Mummystar123 · 07/02/2016 10:33

Yes please- damn autocorrect

HardleyWorthit · 07/02/2016 13:22

Signed up. Will be a bit of a road trip but worth it!

NewLife4Me · 07/02/2016 15:59

Too far for us to travel too, but look forward to reading the reviews.
Good luck to those who live near the factory.

Stoodonlegoagain · 07/02/2016 18:59

Bit of a drive but with my backache and a 20 year old bed we have no hope of being able to afford to replace in the near future I would loveeee this Grin

Doobydoo · 07/02/2016 21:29

I would love to do this!

NotInGuatemalaNowDrRopata · 08/02/2016 08:04

I live in China so I'm out, but please pick Binary - if her own bed makes her cry, then she really needs this (there's nothing worse than an uncomfy bed) And no, I don't know her!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 08/02/2016 10:46

Ohh signed up bit oif a day trip but just about doable in between school runs :)

IAmNotDarling · 08/02/2016 11:24

Rebecca when will those selected be told?

Crazybit · 08/02/2016 12:11

Ooh this is a great product testing opportunity. I will happily travel all that way for a new bed to try. Mine is so old now but I've been struggling to chose one!

TheFairyCaravan · 08/02/2016 13:01

I spend almost all day, every day in bed due to my disabilty so I would be able to give it a really good testing. We're not far from Huntingdon, either.

When I wake up in the morning, after a couple of hours sleep, I am so, so stiff that I can't move. Our mattress is too hard for DH. I just can't face going out looking for a new bed knowing I might not get one. It would be such a weight off my mind knowing I was going to one place, choosing a bed and having it delivered to my bedroom a could of weeks later.

ClarenceTheLion · 08/02/2016 17:26

I've given it a shot. Amazing opportunity for those who get picked, and I would happily travel 80ish miles for the chance of a lovely new bed!

truckingirl · 08/02/2016 17:29

Love to trial a slumberland bed always wanted one 😘

CormoranStrike · 08/02/2016 18:41

I have signed up, this would be great for me.

Kbear · 08/02/2016 20:14
