Slumberland are looking for 15 Mumsnetters to test out their divan sets with Serene or Tempo mattresses.

Here’s what Slumberland say, "Here at Slumberland we know the importance of sleep as a part of a healthy lifestyle, when you have the best night’s sleep possible, you live longer, look better, feel better, concentrate more and perform better at work and play. We understand how the quality of your bed can affect your sleep. Slumberland mattresses are made using a blend of four innovative materials, so that every aspect of your sleep is nurtured.”

Those selected would need to visit the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon during w/c 22nd February, where testers would select the bed of their choice. Testers will be able to choose from:

  • Double (135cm) or Kingsize (150 cm) divan set
  • Serene or Tempo mattress

If selected, once you have chosen your bed at the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon, your chosen bed will be delivered and set up in the room of your choice within 2-3 weeks. You will need to try the bed for a few weeks and so long as you add feedback as required you will be able to keep the product. You would need to add feedback to a thread on Mumsnet and at the end of the testing period, we'd also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet review pages.

In order to keep the product, you would need to add your feedback by 4th April, so please only apply if you are able to do this.

If you’re interested in taking part please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

No ggirl unfortunately this Huntingdon is the one near the Andean Steppes . I hear the climate can be very inhospitable this time of year. Does anyone know if they'd managed to control that nasty outbreak of pipsy they were suffering recently?

TheHobbitMum · 05/02/2016 20:39

Fingers crossed! This would answer a large prayer right now lol

WineOrSleep · 05/02/2016 20:43

Do we have to go to the factory??? Can't we choose our bed to trial online? (Please)

Kraggle · 05/02/2016 20:44

We are also desperate for a new bed and it's only a 3 hour round trip to get to the store so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 05/02/2016 21:01

Fingers crossed on this one. 💤

Haggisfish · 05/02/2016 21:07

I've signed up to the 'closed' thread. Just in case...😉

TheFairyCaravan · 05/02/2016 21:29

It says on the Slumberland website it's near Cambridge.

Monty27 · 05/02/2016 21:33

Och, I'm too tired to travel to Huntingdon (sleepless nights due to rubbish IKEA very ancient bed). Can't you just bring it... zzzzzzz (on my sofa)

Monty27 · 05/02/2016 21:34

Tsk, just realised it's closed Sad

PseudoBadger · 05/02/2016 21:40

It's not closed. But don't tell anyone else Wink

zipzap · 05/02/2016 21:43

My mattress is beginning to go so a new one would be great. However I currently have a kingsize and the only thing that I know for definite is that the next bed I get will have to be a super King size as the dc are getting bigger and like to get in for cuddles in the morning - or in the middle of the night if they've woken up - and are very good at being starfish in the middle. Which means that muggins here ends up balanced on the edge of the bed...

Will be interested to see what the testers think about the mattresses though as it's always difficult to know if something that feels comfortable for 5 minutes testing in the shop is going to be as comfortable overnight!

WineOrSleep · 05/02/2016 22:04

.... But I'm not turning down a factory trip completely! So have signed up Smile

incogKNEEto · 05/02/2016 22:07

Done. Seriously keeping fingers (& everything else!) crossed for this product test, we really need a new bed..

Good luck everyone Smile

Jitterybug · 05/02/2016 22:21

I would travel a few hundred miles, take time off etc. Our bed has been knackered for the last 2 years, poor dh finds sleeping on the settee more comfortable (its his side that has gone), a new bed for us keeps getting pushed down the pecking order of big purchases.

mollyonthemove · 05/02/2016 22:31

Oh my goodness. We're not far from Huntingdon and have never had a new bed ever!

BettyOctopus · 05/02/2016 22:33

Sounds amazing!

Orangesox · 05/02/2016 22:33

Entered! I'd totally make the 240 mile round trip to get a new bed. The slats on our one are knackered so one of us ends up flying through the broken bits when sitting putting socks or shoes on! Major fail!
