Slumberland are looking for 15 Mumsnetters to test out their divan sets with Serene or Tempo mattresses.

Here’s what Slumberland say, "Here at Slumberland we know the importance of sleep as a part of a healthy lifestyle, when you have the best night’s sleep possible, you live longer, look better, feel better, concentrate more and perform better at work and play. We understand how the quality of your bed can affect your sleep. Slumberland mattresses are made using a blend of four innovative materials, so that every aspect of your sleep is nurtured.”

Those selected would need to visit the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon during w/c 22nd February, where testers would select the bed of their choice. Testers will be able to choose from:

  • Double (135cm) or Kingsize (150 cm) divan set
  • Serene or Tempo mattress

If selected, once you have chosen your bed at the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon, your chosen bed will be delivered and set up in the room of your choice within 2-3 weeks. You will need to try the bed for a few weeks and so long as you add feedback as required you will be able to keep the product. You would need to add feedback to a thread on Mumsnet and at the end of the testing period, we'd also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet review pages.

In order to keep the product, you would need to add your feedback by 4th April, so please only apply if you are able to do this.

If you’re interested in taking part please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

I would've loved to do this as just debating new bed, sadly can't justify an 800 mile round trip to a factory. Good luck to those nearer though and I look forward to reading the reviews.

TannhauserGate · 05/02/2016 18:06

We're also looking for a new bed. But it's way too far to go to Huntingdon.
And I really don't like divans at all. Does anyone?

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 05/02/2016 18:33

Bugger, we spent X hundred on a new mattress 6 months ago. And for a grand's worth of bed I'd happily have taken a day trip to Aberdeen - I think the people who think it's too far might want to google the cost of beds and the cost of Huntingdon Travelodge and have a bit of a think (obvs childcare might make it literally impossible for some people). Good luck to the testers.

Thebookswereherfriends · 05/02/2016 18:35

Why do we have to go to the factory? I also can't justify a trip from Devon. Not a product test that's open to all really.

PseudoBadger · 05/02/2016 18:41

Oh my gosh I need this

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 05/02/2016 18:48

They are usually in London so this one is great!

I've applied as its not far and I'm off work when it needs to be picked, but I doubt I'll be lucky

gamerchick · 05/02/2016 18:51

Where's Huntingdon?

Wombatinabathhat · 05/02/2016 18:54

I've signed up. I need a new bed. Fingers crossed but I never get picked for anything

Wombatinabathhat · 05/02/2016 18:55

I don't know where it is but I've got 2 days off at the relevant time. Off to google excited

BinaryFinary · 05/02/2016 19:04

I'm in. Our bed is so awful it actually made me cry a few days ago. Argos' cheapest mattress was not designed to last for 10 years

Nosnowjustrain · 05/02/2016 19:09

So in need of a new bed but no way of getting to Huntingdon Sad

FannyFifer · 05/02/2016 19:14

So, mumsnetters in England near Huntingdon needed then.

BinaryFinary · 05/02/2016 19:27

I suppose it depends on how much you want a free bed. I live miles away (had to google to see where Huntingdon is), I work full time. I'm more than willing to make the journey and take annual leave and arrange childcare if I get a free bed out of it [really wants new bed]

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 05/02/2016 19:28

It doesn't say you have to spend the whole day there Fanny. If it's only a couple of hours you could perfectly feasibly do it from Leeds, Liverpool, Exeter, or indeed Glasgow. I grant you that Aberdeen or St Ives would probably involve a trip to the Huntingdon Premier Inn.

fuctifino · 05/02/2016 19:31

I'd love my own bed, dh likes our bed, I don't.
I could have my very own bed Smile

Chippednailvarnish · 05/02/2016 19:32

Done, I would love one of these!

butmumineedit · 05/02/2016 19:34

Huntingdon fine for me, a bit of a drive but I know the journey well.
Could pop in to see friends too!
