Slumberland are looking for 15 Mumsnetters to test out their divan sets with Serene or Tempo mattresses.

Here’s what Slumberland say, "Here at Slumberland we know the importance of sleep as a part of a healthy lifestyle, when you have the best night’s sleep possible, you live longer, look better, feel better, concentrate more and perform better at work and play. We understand how the quality of your bed can affect your sleep. Slumberland mattresses are made using a blend of four innovative materials, so that every aspect of your sleep is nurtured.”

Those selected would need to visit the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon during w/c 22nd February, where testers would select the bed of their choice. Testers will be able to choose from:

  • Double (135cm) or Kingsize (150 cm) divan set
  • Serene or Tempo mattress

If selected, once you have chosen your bed at the Slumberland factory in Huntingdon, your chosen bed will be delivered and set up in the room of your choice within 2-3 weeks. You will need to try the bed for a few weeks and so long as you add feedback as required you will be able to keep the product. You would need to add feedback to a thread on Mumsnet and at the end of the testing period, we'd also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet review pages.

In order to keep the product, you would need to add your feedback by 4th April, so please only apply if you are able to do this.

If you’re interested in taking part please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Please please please pick me!
Can't remember the last time I shared a bed with my DP and would LOVE it if we could :) x

coffeeisnectar · 05/02/2016 23:20

Signed up. Need a new bed desperately. Willing to travel from Dorset.

AmpersandRea · 06/02/2016 00:08

I live really close to Huntingdon AND I love sleep!

gleegeek · 06/02/2016 00:14

Oh my! I would love to do this. Our mattress is 16 years old (bought when first married) I'm getting neck/shoulder related migraines and am wondering if they're due to lack of support... just can't afford a new bed just now.

Friendlystories · 06/02/2016 01:37

Signed up, our bed in knackered and DP and I can't sleep in it together without getting up with major backache now, not so bad if it's just one of us but don't think it can cope with our combined weight anymore Grin Huntingdon's not a massive distance for us and DH happens to be off work for part of that week so am hoping it's fate!

toopeoply · 06/02/2016 04:00

Survey completed! My bed is from eBay about 10 yrs ago so it's somewhat necessary Confused

SlurplePurple · 06/02/2016 04:48

Signed up! I was going to last night but had to check dp was up for a road trip of over 3 hours each way.
He says he'd drive to Australia to stop springs jabbing him through the mattress at night Grin.

BibbidiBobbidiBoo1 · 06/02/2016 06:14

I signed up last night - my bed is older than I am! I'm 33 A new bed would be amazing - I might be able to sleep on a side rather than in the middle where I'm forced to now.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 06/02/2016 08:21

Right. Have checked the trains and its doable. pickmepickmepickmepickmepickmepickme.

my bed is old and creaky and too small. dh keeps breathing on me. Angry

Mumofmoodyteen · 06/02/2016 08:26

Oh a bed would be fantastic, we have been on a mattress on the floor for months since ours fell apart in the move.

Silky2015 · 06/02/2016 09:21

Yes please, available and ready for trip to Huntingdon.

originalusernamefail · 06/02/2016 09:44

Yes please, I hate my current be but love sleep.

Ottosaurus · 06/02/2016 09:51

Oh for a good night's sleep!

ChippyMinton · 06/02/2016 10:32

RebeccaEMumsnet - I may have hit 'submit' without properly completing all the fields Blush. Would you mind checking please? I blame it on rubbishy old mattress-induced sleep-deprivation but actually I was out partying until the wee small hours and DH has been snoring steadily

HopeandSoap · 06/02/2016 10:49

Please pick me! It's not to far for me to travel and I can tie it in with an inlaw visit!

PurpleCrazyHorse · 06/02/2016 10:54

Husband has agreed to taking a day off work so we can go if picked (hooray). I think another night sleeping on our knackered mattress might well have tipped the balance Grin

Good luck everyone

5madthings · 06/02/2016 11:26

Signed up, we are in Norwich so not far and at seven months preg I am fed up of our futon. It needs replacing after years of bed hopping children.

I think my form went through Ok if someone at mnhq could check thst would be great.

Lilbratz · 06/02/2016 12:21

eek. I live ten mins away from huntingdon. Our bed is dire its over 20 years old!

Titsalinabumsquash · 06/02/2016 12:39

I've just filled it in and accidentally ticked the no to visiting the factory but I actually can visit, on the weekend of that week.
Can someone at mnhq change it please?

Chippednailvarnish · 06/02/2016 12:43
