Initially he was unimpressed.

dancemummy · 18/01/2016 14:09

My LO liked the vanilla and raspberry flavours, but not the ginger. (He doesn't like gingerbread biscuits either so I wasn't surprised!).

They are a good sized pack to keep in your bag, and we LOVED the stickers on the back of the pack. Perfect for if he only ate a few so we could reseal the packet for later, and just as he loves stickers anyway!

The O shape of the biscuits were great, if they had been a bit bigger he would have probably put them on his fingers as rings, but they were not quite big enough for that, but he still liked the shape. We had a couple of conversations about them being circles, and like the letter 'O', which is all good 😃.

Dependant on the price we would recommend them to friends (& already have, and shared a few out), but would only buy vanilla and raspberry flavours ourselves as he didn't like the ginger ones.

He eats Organix bars, rice cakes, Pom bears as other bought savoury snacks, as well as just fruit.

Overall we really liked these, loved the packaging (especially the stickers!), he enjoyed the taste, and I loved that they were a healthy snack.

DrewsWife · 18/01/2016 14:11

He loves that they fit on his fingers. This really tickled him. Baby chuckles rock.

Standingoutsidethefire · 18/01/2016 14:14

Q1: very satisfied. DD liked them. Tried all flavours and they all went down a treat. Handy to take out and about too.
Q2: probably would recommend.
Q3: ginger was the favourite
Q4: often give her chocolate buttons or fruit as sweet snacks.
Q5: savoury snacks tend to be quavers (only occasionally as they quite salty). Or rice cakes.

Alizzle · 18/01/2016 14:16

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Quite satisfied, the packs are quite small so with my pick son, it didn't feel like too much of a waste if he didn't finish the packet.
Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
I might do if they were there but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy them
Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
I would as they are quite tasty! I especially liked the ginger ones, as did my son.
Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
The ginger ones, which I was very surprised about as he's quite picky

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Rice cakes and crisps

ColdCottage · 18/01/2016 14:20

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Very.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Yes I will buy them again.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Yes, I have already put aside some packs to give my friend to try who has a fussy eating son.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Ginger

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Heinz biscotti
Organix goodies farm animals
Drop pancakes
Raisins
Aldi fruit bars

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Cheddar biscuits
Oat cakes
Bread sticks
All supermarket own brands

I would like a wider range of savoury options for my DS. I think these new items fill the gap for sweet items. I especially like the hole in the middle to make them easy to hold and a good size without being a large portion.

In the other survey the items I didn't select such as the pasta sauce etc to buy were only because I make these items at home myself.

Moojay · 18/01/2016 14:27

FilthyRascal · 18/01/2016 14:39

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
I thought they were quite similar to other similar brands of mini biscuits targeted at toddlers really. I liked that they were oats and the inclusion of the seeds as I think it made them a bit more filling.
I was a bit annoyed that the second ingredient was molasses I.e sugar which felt a bit disingenuous, as if they were trying to disguise it and also, a percentage of ingredients was given for the healthy bits I.e oats and chia seeds but not for the honey or molasses! They were very sweet to eat too- but seemed to be a hit with my children! I was a bit confused by some of the additional ingredients - e.g pea protein. Is that really necessary?

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

Yes I would, my children enjoyed them and as a treat they're better than some!

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Yes I might do. I think out of children's biscuits / snacks they're probably better than most.
Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Raspberry! But they liked them all.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Organic ginger bread men and flapjacks, fruit and raisins

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Babybels/ cheese, breadsticks, houmous and veg, falafels, mini sausages

Extremely satisfied. I can give it to my little ones without feeling guilty.

Definitely would buy.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
I have already recommended it to my friends as we as a family loved them. Love the fact that they're packed with good stuff like chia seed and pea protein, no nastiness.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
My 1 year old had no preference she ate all the flavours and enjoyed them equally.
My 6 years old wanted to try as well and he says it's his new favourite snack, he enjoyed the raspberry and vanilla ones the most.
I know only my child under 3 was supposed to try them but husband couldn't resist trying raspberry and ginger one and guess what? He's a fan :/ weirdo. He sad it's the perfect crispness and the taste that he loved and the fact that they have really impressive ingredients.
In short we will be buying these regularly as my two kids and the big kid aka husband loved them.

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Quite satisfied, health(ier) than some other biscuit products, not sure if toddler would agree with me there. He seemed to quite like a small amount, but would ask for a drink of water quite quickly. I was satisfied with the product in that it gave me a new option, nicely presented and with good flavours and nutrients. Sadly, my 18month old didn't like any of the flavours.
I would recommend them because of nutrients, handy snack pack to have but wouldn't be any point in me buying them.
I buy fruit bars, raisins, yogurt coated raisins and rice cakes, plain crackers, cheese crackers, bread sticks.

nearlyreadytopop · 18/01/2016 15:30

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
I loved the concept but was disappointed with the allergy advice. The coverall comment of being made in a factory that also uses milk is a quick/cheap way out of actually ensuring your product is free from allergens. Very disappointing.

Probably not, they are mist suitable for my youngest son but he is anaphylactic to dairy.

MiddleClassProblem · 18/01/2016 15:33

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Nuttypops · 18/01/2016 15:36

The idea is a good one, healthy ingredients and easily transportable snacks. DD wasn't impressed unfortunately though, she tried all three flavours more than once and are a few of the vanilla ones but they were all later rejected. I tried them after her, and they seemed very dry so might be better in conjunction with something. We wouldn't buy they because of this unfortunately.

RhubarbAndMustard · 18/01/2016 15:41

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Very satisfied. DS liked all the flavours and (I think) they tick the 'healthy snack' box. Very handy to take out and about with us too. Really like the resealable sticker and DS liked that he could wear the sticker too. Nice touch.

Yes definitely.
Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Yes I would recommend them. I think these are better for children's teeth possibly than the fruit sticks/coils you can buy.
Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
He liked them all, but the Vanilla packet got finished in one go. The other 2 flavours he left a few. We also gave a friends son a packet of the raspberry flavour to try but he didn't like them at all.

I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE AS I THINK THEY ARE A GREAT HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE TO OTHER SNACKS AND ALSO A GREAT TASTY TREAT FOR KIDS TOO. I LOVE THE STICKERS ON THE PACKS WHICH YOU CAN USE TO RESEAL THE PACKETS OR IN MY SONS CASE DUE TO EATING ALL IN ONE GO HE STUCK THE STICKERS ON HIS TOY BOX INSTEAD.
Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
HE ENJOYED ALL FLAVOURS BUT TOLD ME THE RASPBERRY ONES ARE HIS FAVE.
Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? MY SON IS QUITE GOOD AND PREFERS FRUIT AND YOGHURT TO SWEETS/CHOC SO I DO BUY A LOT OF FRUIT AND YOGHURT WHICH ARE AN IDEAL COMBI TO EAT WITH THE LITTLE DISH GO GO'S.
