It is always lovely to receive a parcel from the postman and this was no exception. We were looking forward to trying the Go Go's by Little dish mainly because our little man is always hungry. It is difficult to always find the right balance for him in between meals. Too much fruit and we have problems later! He initially was very cautious about them, like when we hide vegetables behind a mouthful of mash potato on the spoon. They always know. He took to them quite well, he finished the pack on several occasions so that has to be a sign of success. I think the vanilla ones were his favourite. His younger brother was also trying to get in on the action but thankfully sharing is not quite on the agenda yet for our toddler as his brother is not quite old enough yet for them. The dog on the other hand, might have tried the whole range via stealth like army manoeuvres. He quite likes them too. Overall we are very satisfied with the results, we have a healthy snack that is liked and a good range of flavours to keep them interesting. It gives us options and that is always a good thing. We are also looking forward to trying the free meal that comes as a voucher inside. They look really interesting. The one complaint we have as parents is the cost of healthy snacks for children, we would buy these but only at a reasonable price. Having said that we would definitely recommend these to friends, family and anyone that was interested in these for the same reasons we were. Vanilla was definitely his favourite flavour, but as we have discovered you cannot second guess anything. So this week it was, next week we will probably hear our favourite phrase, "I can't like that one!" He has a varied pallet but snacks tend to be different fruits, cheese, crackers, cucumber, bread sticks and dips. He also likes the carrot stick crisps, pitta bread and coleslaw and various other things I don't want to admit to giving into from time to time..

wednesdaysocks · 27/01/2016 15:16

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos? I was very happy with the Little Dish Go Gos, I thought the pack size was more than enough for my toddler and I liked the sticker for resealing the bag. It was nice to see DD eating something that wasn't yoghurt or chips (even 7 year old DS liked them)

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not? Yes I would buy them in future.

Q3 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why? I would recommend them as I like that they're a bit different to the flavoured rice cakes/ rice puffs and are a bit more substantial.

Q4 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour? The Raspberry flavour were DDs favourite, which was a revelation as she won't usually touch anything with fruit that isn't a yoghurt!

Q5 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? I don't normally buy sweet snacks (apart from yoghurts) as DD won't eat them.

Q6 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? I usually buy organix carrot sticks or lunch box cheddar.

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go

  • I liked the idea, packaging and portion size, but my little boy wasn't that keen on the taste/texture. He ate a few and seemed to chew them until they were the consistency of soggy sawdust and then spat them out.

  • probably not, as my little boy wasn't that keen

  • In principle yes, as I like the idea but they just didn't suit my fussy little one's tastes

  • Raspberry seemed to go down the best

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Bambooshoots14 · 27/01/2016 15:43

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

I agree with previous comments about the molasses sugar as 16% sugar is quite high. DS likes the bags and asks for 'teddy biscuits' but doesn't actually eat them, just holds the bag. He's not really got a sweet tooth which could explain it

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

As DS doesn't eat them I probably wouldn't

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?

Yes I think the little bags are useful

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?

He likes them all to hold but not eaten any yet!

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Gingerbread men toddler biscuits, raisins, dried fruit bags

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Pom bears, breadsticks

sjs1528 · 27/01/2016 16:32

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

Lovely sized packets and a very good idea of the stickers to close the bag again. They tasted nice - not to sweet and an easy shape for my 16 month old little girl to hold onto. She did not seem very keen on the ginger flavour.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

Yes.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?

Yes, nice to have in bag for emergencies.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?

Vanilla I think.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Organix rings, raisins, bananas

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Organix sweet corn rings and carrot sticks. Hula hoop puffs.

MoonHare · 27/01/2016 17:07

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Well I was satisfied with the look of them; the packaging was nice, the stickers were fun the shape encouraged my 3 yr old to want to try them BUT she didn't like the taste at all. I even tried them with my 7 and 4 yr olds and they didn't like them either. I tried one of the raspberry ones and did think it was dry and didn't taste of raspberry. I thought they were too much like 'health food' for the taste of most children. I'm sure families who don't allow normal biscuits will find these are great for their children but I'm afraid, while being careful about sugar in many ways, we do have a biscuit tin and even though they don't have biscuits every day there's no way my 3 would eat Go Gos in preference.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not? No.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why? If they were a family who didn't eat normal biscuits and only allow 'healthy' snacks then yes because the packaging and shape is very appealing.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour? None of them.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? Humzingers, raisins, fruit pouches, crumpets, brioche

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? Bread sticks, pom bears, crackers

I was hopeful GoGos would be something I could pop into my hand bag as a healthier snack but I will have to stick to humzingers.

BippityBoppityBullshit · 27/01/2016 19:33

Q3 she seemed to love them all, but I did a taste test and loved the gingerbread ones- not so keen on the raspberry though!

FirstWeTakeManhattan · 27/01/2016 21:39

My children are 8, 6 and 23 months. The 8 year old doesn't currently eat anything too obviously 'babyish', but she was happy to keep taking the odd one from her little sister!

My youngest DD liked the Go go's but she did end up leaving a few. No idea why this might be, she seemed to enjoy them.

My DC usually snack on nuts, fruit and breadsticks. I'm be happy to buy the Go Gos and give them another whirl. I'm a fan of Little Dish in general, and found these up to their usual standard. Great packaging - very appealing for kids.

No negatives to report. They went down well with us. Thanks for letting us try them!

Heatherbell1978 · 27/01/2016 21:48

  • Very satisfied. They're different to what is currently in the market for toddler snacks. My LO has gone off cereal bars so it's a nice alternative!

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not? Yes I would definitely buy them.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why? Yes I would.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? Cereal bars - all brands, raisins.

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? Rice cakes. Occasionally buy cheese puffs etc but he's quite fussy.

SlurplePurple · 28/01/2016 04:53

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Probably not as I'd be buying them for myself because my toddler won't eat them.
Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Definitely. They taste nice, are a reasonable portion size for little people and look fun.

BugPlaster · 28/01/2016 06:11

I've already given my review but thought I'd add we have used 2 of the 3 free meal vouchers - the chicken and butternut squash one is a major hit. Good to have a healthier convenient go to meal for when we are away or whatever.

PaulDirac · 28/01/2016 08:15

I've also already given my review but wanted to come back to say my dd is really enjoying these still. She asks for 'bikits' and she loves the 'ticker' (sticker)! I gave a positive review originally but she seems to like them even more now! Also she didn't seem keen on the ginger when I gave my review but now she doesn't seem to have a preference and will happily eat any of three flavours.

Daisynguyen97 · 28/01/2016 08:41

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

I would probably buy it.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?

Definitely ass its quite baby/toddler friendly, easy to take on the go and not too messy.

Packet of raisin, cracker, chocolate.

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
