Suitable from age one upwards, Go Gos are full of naturally good things like wholegrain oats, flax and chia seeds and protein which all help to deliver slow release energy and nourishment to your little one. Each little bag of GoGos provides three grams of protein, and is a good source of fibre."

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos? I really wanted to the kids to like these as they are obviously a healthy snack but none of my 3 boys liked them, (ages 2, 4 and 6). They are quite dry and after a couple of biscuits each they all passed their packets back to me and wanted a drink of water.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not? No, but only because my boys don't like them.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why? No, because I can't recommend a product to a friend if my children don't like it.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour? None

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? He likes biscuit packs, mini fingers or animals. Bananas and grapes disappear fast too!

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? Crisps and ricecakes, but he doesn't really snack between meals to be honest.

I would like to comment that the sticker on these packets to reseal the packet is genius! So handy to reseal a packet to put in a pocket or bag and not have the contents spill out. Really useful feature, if my kids had liked these biscuits I would have bought them again purely for the resealable sticker.

ekt55 · 18/01/2016 15:57

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
I was pretty satisfied. There were lots of biscuits in the bag, the sticker was a fab idea and both my 2yo DD and I liked the taste. I would have preferred a slightly lower sugar content but I appreciate they were still low compared to other sweet snacks.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Yes. They are perfect for out and about, and as there are so many biscuits they are good for occupying a toddler for a while.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Yes - they taste good and come in a handysized pack.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
This week, vanilla, but as she liked all of them, who knows what next week's favourite will be

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Organix gingerbread men, and then the rest is fruit

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
organix/goodies crisps, occasionally mini cheddars or pom bears

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

Really satisfied, all my toddlers loved them (empty packets in minutes) even my 12 year old DD really liked them she noticed the picture of the gogos is exactly the size of the biscuit inside. I liked the design of the packets and the stickers at the back. They are slightly dry though so you need to make sure you give a drink with the biscuits.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

Yes i would. I could not find them in Tescos this week

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?

Yes they are not overtly sweet and they are made with natural ingredients.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?

My children loved all the flavors but in my opinion the flavours were very subtle, there was just a hint of ginger.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Flapjacks, biscuits, dried & fresh fruit, yogurt and cake bars.

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Bread sticks, croissants, cheese sticks and ricecakes.

Thank you for choosing me & my family to try these snacks we really enjoyed them and will be buying them when they are available.

Bicnod · 18/01/2016 18:30

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

Very satisfied. Great packaging, very appealing to little ones - love the resealable packets. Everyone enjoyed eating them - DD (1), DS2 (4) and DS1 (6) - I also enjoyed them Grin

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

Yes definitely - my children are snackers and it is always good to have something different and reasonably healthy up my sleeve for when they come out of school/nursery, after swimming when they're hungry, when we're out and about.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?

Yes - they are tasty, I think they are pretty healthy as far as kids snacks go and all 3 of my children really enjoyed them.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?

The boys (4 and 6) preferred the ginger ones (as did I), but DD (1) enjoyed the raspberry ones most. The boys liked the raspberry ones as well but didn't like the vanilla ones. DD ate all of them.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

For DD I buy goodies gingerbread men, humzingers, goodies snack bars and rice cakes.

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Bread sticks, unsalted rice cakes.

Thank you very much for letting us participate - this was a great product test Grin

Very satisfied, DS seemed to really enjoy them and I was impressed with how many you got in a pack.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

Yes, these would be good to have in the snack bag, the reseal feature is good as they don't crumb up the bag!

Yes, it was nice to have a healthier alternative to regular biscuits and they make less of a sticky mess that regular ones as well.

Bonkerz · 18/01/2016 18:55

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Fab little snack.
Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

I would pay up to £1.50 a box I think but not more.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Yes. They seem to be a good healthier choice as snack and great for on the go. Also loved that they are dairy free!

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Gave friends child the raspberry flavour today and they were gobbled up. My own DS had vanilla for his snack with his bedtime milk and he enjoyed them

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
I buy fruit bars and yoyo treats. My son also likes raisins and fruit purée pouches

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? Savoury snacks are more difficult but we do buy crackers and rice cakes and popcorn.

Overall I'm impressed with these snacks and will buy again if price was right.

K80LTL · 18/01/2016 19:32

Q1-The packaging was appealing and in handy sized packets, unfortunately my little boy didn't like them and just kept spitting them out. I think maybe they were a little dry for his his liking.

Q2 -probably not at the moment but may consider them when he is a little older

Q3 - I probably would recommend them to friends with slightly older children as they are a handy sized snack to carry in your bag

Q3- Didn't really like any of them although that was probably due to texture rather than flavour

Q4 - fruit bars, bear yoyos, raisins, dried fruit, baby biscotti, rice cakes

Q5 - bread sticks, rice cakes, goodies puff selections

Thanks for the opportunity to try them out

kierie · 18/01/2016 19:36
  1. Overall, I was fairly dissatisfied with the biscuits. My little one has just turned one, she's been baby led weaned, so is used to finger foods and self feeding, but she found these difficult to eat. They were too large to eat whole and too small to bite in half. She found chewing them difficult and so most of the biscuits fell out of her mouth and ended up on the floor. She got fed up quite quickly.
  2. I'd recommend them for a 2-4 yr old. My 4 year old liked them, especially the raspberry. He thought of them as a sweet treat, as the packet looked like a sweetie pack.
  3. Probably the raspberry, she attempted to eat those for the longest amount of time.
  4. Rusks/ biscotti
  5. Baby crisps (sweetcorn rings, carrot crisps etc)
Sylviasmothersays · 18/01/2016 20:16

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

All the children (5 yo, 3 yo and 16 months) really liked them. The baby particularly liked the shape of them. We were really impressed with the raspberry, quite liked the vanilla and disliked the ginger ones.

Really good things I liked:

  • The shape
  • The packet with a sticker on. They liked this feature and I think it would definitely mean they would want me to buy them. For the baby, it would be useful if we were out and about and I had a packet in the changing bag that I wanted to reseal.
  • Individual packets are always a hit!

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

Yes, I think I would for the baby as I always feel slightly uncomfortable with her eating general snack food. I think for the older kids it would depend very much on the price.

Also, the baby was more taken with the shape etc.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?

Yes, definitely for children in the 1-2 age bracket.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Raspberry from all 3. The older two didn't like the ginger at all, I thought it had a slightly bitter/spicy after taste and the baby ate a couple but was not very interested. I think without the sugar to counter out the ginger, they felt quite an adult taste.
The raspberry ones were excellent and I was impressed at how fruity they tasted.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Mainly fruit, malt loaf, biscuits

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Breadsticks, oat cakes, crackers

RedKites · 18/01/2016 21:16

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Pretty satisfied with them
Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Yes, I think we might.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
I'd be pretty positive.
Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
DS1 (5) really liked the ginger but wasn't convinced by the raspberry. DS2 (3) enjoyed both the raspberry and the vanilla.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Mainly fruit, occasionally dried fruit or Organix oaty bars. I suspect the Go Gos might get bought as an alternative to the oaty bars.

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Carrot/cucumber sticks, rice cake/oat cake/toast with nut butter/cheese, bread sticks, etc.

AnotherTimeMaybe · 18/01/2016 21:24

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Extremely satisfied ! Small pack ready to take it out with you, no sugar only good stuff and the chia seeds made my little one go for number 2 within an hour, and normally he suffers from constipation so that was unbelievable!
Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
10000% if anything for the fact that it makes baby go to the toilet!!
Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Yes cause it's healthy and yummy!! Good size so babies love holding it!
Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour? vanilla!! He absolutely loved them! Had the whole pack in a few mins!
Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old? kiddilicious melts
Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old carrot puffs and quinoa bites

MrsAFlowerpot · 18/01/2016 21:33

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
We loved the packaging and the packs were a good size. My DS (2) loved the stickers (and definitely thinks they are stickers for him not resealing the pack), DD (6) thought they were "cute".
I found all of them incredibly dry and think the snack would have to be part of something larger (maybe with cheese and fruit).

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Potentially yes, similar products are about £2 a box.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
I think the idea is a good one and would recommend, but perhaps as part of a picnic style lunch rather than a standalone snack as they were so dry.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Both kids really liked the ginger biscuits, DS liked the raspberry, but neither particularly liked the vanilla (DD thought they were a bit cardboardy).

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Soreen Malt Loaf, dried fruit,

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
rice cakes, crackers, tuc biscuits, mini chedders

lemonsherbet · 18/01/2016 21:38

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

I did feel better knowing I was giving my son a healthy snack. Agree they do taste quite dry and would need something to drink with them.

probably yes

Vanilla

Nigglenaggle · 18/01/2016 22:02

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Pretty satisfied, they went down very well

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Definitely. And I think if we had another 1-2yr old we'd probably use them all the time as a change from rice crackers - ours are getting to the stage where it's not as much of a disaster if you leave the house without a snack, thankfully!

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Absolutely. Both kids loved them (I quite liked them too actually, so might also have a little nibble :) ), and they are a convenient, relatively guilt free offering.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Our two year old liked the raspberry and the three year old was a vanilla fan.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Fruit or dried fruit really. I don't buy them chocolate etc although they do have it occasionally from relatives.

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
They still have rice crackers sometimes if we're out, or a babybel

My only gripe would be the packaging they came in - the boxes themselves are quite reasonable packaging, but the container it came in was HUGE! We'll probably upcycle it into a play bus/lorry, but not really necessary!

MustBeThursday · 18/01/2016 22:05

Thanks for including me in the test. Products gratefully tested by DD, 21 months.

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Very satisfied. All went down well. The little stickers are a nice touch, too - not that DD left any to use them to reseal the bag, but good idea all the same!

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Yes.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
Yes. DD seemed keen on them, and they are healthier than other biscuit snacks she has.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Raspberry, closely followed by vanilla judging on the time (or not!) it took her to eat them – although she finished the packet for all flavours. Potentially more hesitant over the ginger ones as she doesn’t have many gingery things.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Fruit chunk pots, raisins/sultana boxes, cereal puffs, biscotti. Nanny gives her a little Barny Bear cake every now and then.

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
Breadsticks, occasionally a few crisps like Wotsits.

MustBeThursday · 18/01/2016 22:09

That reads like I have a hired nanny - by Nanny I mean my DM! Grin

orangeshortbread · 18/01/2016 22:48

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?
Very satisfied - both me and my DD were excited by the idea of them and DD seemed to like the taste and texture. I liked the fact that they were healthier than most biscuity type snacks for toddlers. We both liked the attractive packaging and DD enjoyed the different stickers on the packs.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?
Yes, I would definitely consider buying these for snacks for DD.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?
I like the idea of them enough to recommend and I haven't bought anything from Little Dish before but I will now be trying other things and recommended them too.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?
Raspberry - although we both thought it was nice to see a more unusual flavour like ginger too.

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?
chocolaté raisins, fruits bites, toddler biscuits, dried fruit

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

splendide · 19/01/2016 09:28

Q1 Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied were you with the Little Dish Go Gos?

Pretty satisfied. My 15 month old enjoyed them - especially the ginger flavour and they're quite good for putting in his little snack pot thing. He loved that they fit on his fingers!

They're robust so don't crumble. I wouldn't really classify them as particularly healthy as they've got a fair bit of sugar in them - I'm happy for him to eat them but I wouldn't want to have them everyday. Like the suggestion to put them in yoghurt, will try that.

Q2 If Little Dish Go Gos were on sale at a price acceptable to you, do you think you would buy the products in future or not?

Yes I think so. They make a change from sticky flavoured rice cakes.

Q2 If it came up, in principle, do you think you’d recommend the Little Dish Go Gos to a friend or family member or not? Why?

I would if they were specifically looking for a pre-packaged sweet treat - I wouldn't put them out there as a general snack suggestion.

Q3 Which was your child’s favourite recipe/ flavour?

Ginger by a long way!

Q4 What other sweet snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Flavoured rice cakes. Fruit of course, and he eats a bit of what I'm having if we're out and about so that could be cake or whatever!

Q5 What savoury snacks do you currently buy for your child/children under 3 years old?

Bread sticks, veg sticks, stuff to dip in hummus.
