This is the feedback thread for the MNers who - along with their baby aged up to 6 months who are trying WaterWipes.

Here's what WaterWipes says: "Every time we change our baby's nappies, or use a wipe on their messy face or hands, we can be (without realising it) swabbing their sensitive, delicate, and highly absorbent skin with chemicals. Even when we reach for wipes labelled as "natural" or "sensitive", we do not realize how many ingredients and chemicals they actually contain, as we seldom scrutinise the ingredient list. WaterWipes contain only 2 ingredients: 99.9% Water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. Non-irritating to even the most sensitive of children’s or Mums’ skin, WaterWipes help prevent and alleviate nappy rash and other sensitive skin conditions. WaterWipes are the only baby wipe ever to be endorsed by Allergy UK."

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

The wipes felt a lot thicker and stronger than normal wipes, I found I normally only needed 1 for a clean up.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

They felt so fresh, you really notice the smell of normal wipes, even the non frangranced. And they didn't leave that residue on baby's skin.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

I used them for washing hands and faces on myslef and the older kids too, with none of the irritation I get from normal wipes. We normally use washable wipes and water and the water wipes were very similar just more convenient for outside the house.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?

I would and have recommended them. Even tho expensive compared to value wipes, I think they are better value as they are so thick. And the pack lasted me over a week (using them all the time for the product test) so would normally last me a good 3/4 weeks as I only use wipes when out and about.Grin

mrsnoon · 21/07/2015 09:40
  1. The actual wipe was larger and slightly thicker than my normal brand. As I kept the packet upside down, the wipes were always very wet - almost to the point of being too wet.
  2. Reading the Ingredients of the wipes did initially make me wonder what was in other wipes. However after a particularly messy overnight nappy I switched to my regular wipes mid-change which seemed to removed the dried on residue better than the water wipe. I also wondered why they were so expensive if they only contain water!
  3. As with my normal brand I would use the water wipes for wiping hands/faces etc. However I have no concerns doing this with my regular wipes, I have never experienced skin irritation caused by regular wipes.
  4. Purely based on price I would not recommend waterwipes as for £2.99 I can buy 6 packs of my regular wipes or a ton of cotton wool if I wanted to just use (free from the tap) water for nappy changes. As with a lot of baby items, I feel this is aimed at a certain type of mummy, we've all met one, who uses certain baby items as a status symbol. Oooh look, I'm spending £3 on a pack of wipes for my little darling, aren't I a (flashy git) responsible mummy.
If your baby genuinely has such irritable skin that you can only use water then these are good for being out and about when cotton wool and a pot of water isn't practical but with a 4 week time limit on using them once opened you'd have to used them regularly.

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

I used these wipes with my newly born identical twins from day one, initially I was a bit worried about using any wipes on their newly born delicate skin instead of cotton wool and water but to my amazement there was no irritation. I have not used any other wipes on their skin but these wipes were definitely wetter than any other wipes I have previously used and there was no need to even turn the packaging upside down; each wipe was as wet as the next from the beginning to the end of the packet. The wipes were very strong and durable and not once did they break or thin and when pulling them out of the packet only one came out at a time instead of several which frequently happens with other branded wipes.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

Learning that these wipes only had 2 ingredients is which initially made me apply to undertake the trial on them as I only want the best for my newly born twins skin and do not want to upset their skin, I have since looked at other branded wipes and am amazed by the amount of ingredients they contain.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

I actually used these wipes myself after having an emergency C-section and found they easily removed the iodine of my skin without me having to rub at my sore tender skin. So yes I would definitely use these wipes for other uses as my twins grow.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?
.
YES I would and have already recommended these wipes to other parents as they are so delicate on the skin of young babies; especially new borns. The wipes are strong, wet and durable and you only need one wipe at a time even to clean the sticky meconium poo. The only thing that would put me of buying these wipes on a regular basis would be the price as they are a bit pricey against other brands.

kittensmum82 · 21/07/2015 22:19

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

The wipes themselves were definitely thicker and stronger which was great and a definite 'pro'. It did make the pack itself overall heavier though, and I will say that there weren't easy to get out of the pack one at a time, particularly when one handed and trying to pin a wiggling baby down!

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

Defiitely. My baby has just started weaning and another brand of baby wipe (a sensitive one at that) was taking the colour out of my oilcloth table cloth when I was using it to clean up my baby and her surroundings! None of that with the water wipe which was much more reassuring.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

Absolutely, see comment above. My baby will get her hands covered in food and then rub her eyes if shes tired and i'm not quick enough to intercept, so I feel much more confident using water wipes on her face and around her eyes. She also likes to help in the post meal clean up operation by picking up a water wipe, putting in her mouth and sucking on it. With other brands that would be a real concern but being so clear about whats in water wipes means I can relax and enjoy the fact that her doing so helps to wipe her face clean! (under supervision of course, still don't want her trying to swallow it!)

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Definitely. Knowing whats in them and that they are pure and chemical free is a huge relief. I'm placing an emphasis on organic chemical free food for my baby, so why would I do that I know consider what's in her wipes and her other products. The only thing that could be improved is the packaging. A sturdier resealable opening to the packet that made it easier to dispense would make these even better.

jo4chelsea · 22/07/2015 21:01

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

I definatly found them more durable and a lot stronger than other baby wipes and also a lot wetter.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?
yes, it made me wonder what exactly have i been wiping on my babys skin.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?
My two year old has eczema so i always had to be careful using wipes when he was little i could only use certain brands. It made me wonder had thesee been around then would it have helped. Also my baby boy now likes to grab wipes and put them in his mouth, which i worry about as i dont know all the ingredients in them, these wipes give a bit more peace of mind.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?

yes any one who has children with skin problems as they're water based.

Dr0pThePirate · 23/07/2015 12:22

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

I liked them. The ordinary wipes I have been using have a scent, WW where completely scentless to me. They aren't thicker but I did find them to be MUCH softer and more moist them my regular wipes.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

It did! I can't see why my other wipes have so many ingredients when WW only have these two and work just as well.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

I really don't like using any wipes on my children's face because even thought they are fine for cleaning I find they are very drying (this is a problem for dribbly kids - wet, dry, wet, dry = sore skin). However WW didn't leave any drying "film" behind that I noticed so I would use them around the mouth but haven't yet.

I also use them on myself when I go to the toilet! (Didn't flush though - always in the bin)

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. They are more expensive but I prefer them so having at least one pack in the change bag for when we're out and about won't break the bank.

sally2489 · 24/07/2015 01:09

Q1. I found waterwipes to be alot more thicker and moist than my usual wipes, and they were soft on my babys skin. They didn't rip easily like other wipes, and they cleaned my babys bum, hands, face, etc, without any issues.

Q2. Knowing waterwipes contain just 2 ingredients did make me think about all the other chemicals that are in other babywipes.

Q3. I thought these waterwipes were very much suitable for other uses such as teething, dribbling and wiping hands/face after eating. They just wiped the mess off without any trouble, and didn't tear like other wipes.

Q4. I Would recommend WaterWipes to other parents, because they are alot thicker, so they don't require much effort to clean with them, They are softer on babys skin, and completely eradicated nappy rash after just 2 days use.

scratchandsniff · 24/07/2015 11:30

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

I was pleased with the quality of the wipes. They are definitely thicker and better quality than some wipes on the market, but probably on a par with some premium brands. They were soft and very moist, which made cleaning bums easier. They were a good size, I find some wipes on the small size. I think the packaging could be improved upon - I like packets that have a lid. I find the seal loses its stickiness after a while, so end up with a packet than may leak or dry out.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

Yes most definitely. Even the sensitive wipes have lots of chemicals/ingredients.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

Yes they are suitable. I use wipes all the time for wiping hands, face etc when out of the home. Although I may think twice with WaterWipes as they are more expensive and I wouldn't want to 'waste' them.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. Especially for newborns and babies/toddlers with sensitive skin or allergies. Although I think the cost would be prohibitive to long term use for some families.

sepsisandAKI · 25/07/2015 19:48
  1. I found them nice and thick. I usually use cheeky wipes so they are thinner than them. They are definitely thicker than normal disposable wipes. They feel soft too.
  1. As mentioned above I do tend to use reusable wipes, only water and essential oil, I try not to yse baby wipes too often as they are full of chemicals.
  1. I would say definitely good for face wiping. My son had very sensitive skin around his face so they are kind to his skin.
  1. I would recommend WaterWipes to other mums. I know a couple of them already use them. For me though, as others have mentioned, they are on the expensive side to be using frequently.

Would consider buying them though as a back up for resusable wipes while out and about.

Fillybuster · 27/07/2015 17:14

Non-tester (and finally past the wet wipe stage - hurrah!) but felt the need to come on here and say:

I had the pleasure of acting as birth partner for a close friend a few weeks back...following complications and a cs, that meant I also got lots of newbie cuddles (hurrah!) and the dubious honour of the first few nappies Hmm Grin

She had brought water wipes in with her (she was deeply amused by the fruit juice claim) and I teased her mercilessly until I came to use them.

They were awesome : I had to deal with epic amounts of meconium poos and they cleaned all of it up brilliantly.

I have been telling all of my pg friends about these miracle wipes Grin

sardoh · 27/07/2015 18:14

I found the wipes to be very thick and durable, as well as very gentle
On
My babys skin.
I was pleased that something so natural worked
So well.
I
Used the wipes all over baby, hands, face, bum etc.
I would recommend these to everyone, although pricey per pack they are worth it.

Babycarmen · 28/07/2015 17:48

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable? -

Yes definitely stronger but soft too. I was really impressed.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes? -

Yes very much so. As a mother you want to keep as little chemicals as possible around your baby.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

Yes they are very handy. I keep a packet in the car for sticky fingers.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not? -
Definitely yes. They are a great product and very innovative.

flirty30s · 28/07/2015 18:30

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

I loved using waterwipes. I found them to be thicker, stronger, softer and more durable than all other wipes; generally only needing one/two wipes for a blow out as opposed to 4/5 of a different kind!!

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

The natural ingredients would certainly swag me to purchase for newborn skin in the first few weeks.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

I have used waterwipes for nappy changes as well as face/hand/clothing wipes during weaning. They are great for all of the above.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would certainly recommend them. I recently bought a new packet myself on offer at tesco. On offer, they are still twice as dear as other leading brands. But I keep both packets at my changing station and always bring out the waterwipes for face wiping and dirty nappies. I use the cheaper kind for everything else.

eldoxy24 · 29/07/2015 14:19

I used the wipes on both of my daughters one is 12 weeks and the other is 22 months compared to my usual wipes I have to say I was not to impressed with the water wipes I found them to be very dry until I got near the end of the packet and that's were most of the moisture seemed to be. I felt with them being dry I was using more wipes than normal on both children.

Nikpix1 · 29/07/2015 14:23

Q1. I would say they were much stronger and softer than the wipes I usually get which leave fuzz sometimes when you wipe as they're quite thin. I did find as I got further down the pack they got very wet! Not sure if that was supposed to happen but they were drier at the top then wetter down the bottom.
Q2. Yes, learning that water wipes only have 2 ingredients made me look at exactly what is in baby wipes. They are full of ingredients which does make me think how are they suitable for tiny babies when their skin is so delicate especially in the first few months.
Q3. If my baby has sensitive skin elsewhere, yes I would use them for face/hand wiping, however they are very expensive per pack compared to standard wipes so unless there was sensitivity elsewhere I would only use them for sore bottoms at nappy changes
Q4. I would definitely recommend these to other mums, especially for newborns if you don't want to have to use cotton wool and water which is a faff particularly if you're out and about. Also my baby currently has very bad nappy rash from a food reaction and I found these much gentler on her sore skin and it has healed really well. I don't think I'd recommend them for toddlers just to use on face and hands due to the price, but definitely for younger babies with nappy rash and newborns.

elphabaflyingfree · 29/07/2015 14:26

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

They were clearly wetter than other wipes used. Found they didn't stick together which can lead to wasting lots of wipes when using other brands. Didn't need more than a couple, even for big messes.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

Yes but this is something I was already aware of but having had no negative reaction to other wipes I have never felt the need to change wipes used.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

It would be suitable for dribble and other messes. But I wouldn't use a product of this cost for wiping babies face as I could not justify the expense when cheaper wipes work just as well.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend to any mums who found they had issues with their babies skin and reactions to other types of wipe.

Sparklezz · 29/07/2015 14:27

My baby is 4 months old and is teething i have used the wipes more for her face than nappy changing. I liked how they were natural, but i didnt see that much difference aside from there being more liquid in them. I think the price is expensive for someone like me on a budget but would recommend, if a friend asked.

francis223 · 29/07/2015 14:51

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

I have previously used Water Wipes and these updated wipes are a vast improvement. They are larger, softer, wetter and much stronger than the old version. Great quality product. I didnt repurchase the old version, but would buy these again.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

Yes - although we have no allergies or sensitive skin here, once past newborn phase, I'm not paranoid about these things.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

My 6 month old is now grabbing and into everything, including his wipes at nappy changing time! I did not worry when he grabbed a wipe clean from the packet and mouthed it! Very useful for solid meal times too.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Yes for a chemical free wipes option.

cally120 · 29/07/2015 16:55

yes they were of a better quality and were thicker than my previous brand

  1. Yes as my child has suffered with nappy rash, sometimes I think wipes make it worse, the water based ones are more natural.
  1. I wiped my own face with them.
  2. Yes definitely I did mention it to friends, some people thought they were expensive and would consider them if the price was lower.

Below are the questions they’d like testers to answer but please feel free to add any other comments which you may have:

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?
I found them a little less thick/durable than the wipes I normally use but this didn't affect their use. They were really moist and cleaned without rubbing or irritation.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?
Definitely. Also the fact that these are so efficient at dealing with messy nappies/messy babies in general made me wonder why other wipes need so many ingredients!

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?
Yes, I've used them for much more than nappy changes. My DS gets sore patches under his chin from dribbling/sweating and I find these great for freshening him up on the go without having to worry about making the area worse.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would, and have, recommended water wipes because I think they are a great product particularly for tiny babies or those with sensitive skin.

mama1109 · 29/07/2015 18:17

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable?

I liked a lot the texture of the wipes and the effect on my baby skin. who has light eczema. They were tick and large and far softer on my baby skin compare to the pampers sensitive I normaly use.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes?

Yes, it made me check what were the ingredients of other wipes and I liked the fact that waterwipes were a bit equivalent of using cotton and water.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation?

Yes, I think the wipes are very good for wiping faces, cleaning up dribble. I have also used them once to wipe all of his body as I could not give him a bath and was ok with the result.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Yes, definitely. However, considering their price, I would recommend it more for newborns

WorrisomeHeart · 29/07/2015 19:52
  1. The wipes were thick but this actually isn't a preference as it makes them harder to get out of the pack one handed whilst trying to hold a wiggly baby.
  1. Yes, the purity of the wipes is a big plus - I had planned to use them on my newborn but couldn't find them in my local supermarket at the time. Now that my baby is a bit older and it's become apparent that he's prone to eczema, the lack of chemicals etc in them has meant that I'm happy to use them and they're currently the nappy bag staple.
  1. Yes. I expect any wipes I use to be able to multi-task and these are no different!
  1. Yes although the price is an issue - I myself would be unlikely to buy them as an 'every day' wipe because of the price, despite the effectiveness.

Thanks for the opportunity to try them out!

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable? Yes, they were a good strength and felt good quality.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes? I was keen not to use other baby wipes anyway, preferring cotton wool and water due to eczema in the family

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation? I think the price might put people off when they are less worried about the sensitivity of a newborn's skin

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not? Yes, especially if baby is more at risk of skin problems like mine

TIMMS30 · 30/07/2015 14:19

Q1. How did you find using WaterWipes? Did you notice a difference between them and ordinary wipes you may have used in the past? Were you describe them as being thicker, stronger, softer, more durable? I found these wipes great and have bought more since. They are a lot bigger, thicker and wetter than usual wipes with only a very delicate wipe action necessary in order to use. I find that some wipes are not wet enough but these don't require any scrubbing of the skin and therefore, no irritation.

Q2. Did learning that WaterWipes had only 2 ingredients, (99.9% Water and 0.1% Grapefruit Seed Extract), make you think about what was in other normal baby wipes? Yes, I don't dare look at what is in the usual ones I use (Aldi)!!! It is very surprising and reassuring to know there are only 2 ingredients in these.

Q3. Did you think the product might be suitable for other uses aside from nappy changing, like face wiping or hand wiping in the teething/dribbling or weaning stages when little faces needs wiping but putting wipes with chemicals on baby’s face might cause some irritation? I personally have not noticed any skin irrational when using various wipes on my baby however, I imagine those whose babies suffer with sensitive skin may benefit from these wipes. I would and have used these on my babies face with no adverse issues whatsoever.

Q4. Would you recommend WaterWipes to other Mums/ parents? If yes, why? If not, why not? Definitely, despite being more expensive than usual wipes, the size and quality certainly make up for this.

Q1. I found them really tough a durable, they seemed thicker and less smeary than other wipes that I've used... Lots have gone through the wash with cloth nappies and survived that too! Very impressed.

Q2. This is definitely a draw for me, we actually use cloth wipes 95% of the time because of all of the chemicals in wipes! I hate to think of something that's great to clean the oven on my children's skin BUT there are times that I forget to wet them/don't have access to water and I do generally keep a pack of wipes in my bag and car for emergencies - I'll certainly switch to water wipes for those!

Q3. Yes, there are loads of child/husband/animal/food/dirt/toilet/festival/ mess related moments that you need a moist wipe for and the performance and lack of chemicals means these would be much more preferable to the traditional baby wipes.

Q4. Definitely, I already tend to extol the virtues of cloth wipes because the chemicals in traditional wipes concern me.... I'll be adding these to my recommendations!
