Please state the age of your child and the size of Active Fit nappies you were trying in your response.
My daughter is 9 months old and I tried size 4.
- What was your overall impression of Pampers Active Fit?
They were lovely and thin. They seemed soft to the touch and very comfortable to wear. In terms of fit, the elastic tapes ensured a snug, but again comfortable fit.
I did smell a chemical odour but it wasn't strong enough to put me off.
- How did Pampers Active Fit perform through the day and at night time?
During the day, I felt as soon as she did a wee, the nappy was super bulgy. When I took it off, it didn't feel wet, but a bit damp after being on for a couple of hours. I had to change it more frequently than my usual brand of nappy. At night it was sodden by 3am, so I didn't continue using it overnight.
- Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would use them if they were on special and I got my Boots points - but only for daytime use.
- If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Active Fit to other parents for dryness and fit?
For fit, I would recommend them. For dryness, there are other nappies available that are more effective and less expensive. I think it terms of comfort, they would beat my regular brand of nappy, but need changing far more frequently, which would have a significant cost implication.
I used Pampers religiously until my daughter went into the Size 4s and the premium baby dry (with the blue line) nappies were no longer available (they only go up to a 3?). I was so happy with the baby dry nappies and am disappointed with the Active Fit nappies that are the only options once the baby is bigger than a size 3. Why can the blue line nappy 'formula' not be used in the active fit? Presumably there is a reason. Anyway, thank you for the nappies and I hope this feedback is helpful.
