Thank you for the voucher. Like pp I also found that tesco tills did not accept the voucher and they had to get a supervisor to override the till.
Were you aware of the LowLow brand before this product test? If so, what comes to mind when you think about the LowLow brand?
No I hadn't come across the brand before. The name instantly suggests low fat, which isn't always a good thing as often low fat products are tasteless.
Were you aware of the LowLow Snack Pack before this product test?
No I wasn't (see above).
Which LowLow Snack Pack did you buy? (available in 3 flavours: Red Pepper & Onion Chutney, Sweet Tomato Relish, Caramelised Onion Chutney)
They all sounded nice but I went for the Red Pepper and Onion Chutney as I love red pepper.
When and where did you eat the LowLow Snack Pack?
I had it as part of a picnic (less phaff than taking crackers, chutney and cheese with me).
Was this in place of another snack you would normally eat at that time? If so, please tell us what
Not really it was just part of a general picnic, but I can imagine having it instead of crisps as a snack.
How satisfied were you with the LowLow Snack Pack?
Overall pretty satisfied. The chutney was really nice and sweet, and it was fun putting them together. I agree with pp that one or two more pieces of the toast. The cheese tastes ok, it was a little bland for my liking, not because it is low fat I don't think, more because it was just a bit of a mild cheese and I prefer something stronger. Eating the toast, cheese and chutney together meant that the flavour of the cheese was a bit lost. But it was a nice alternative snack, something a bit different for variety.
How appealing or unappealing do you find the idea of cheese made from semi skimmed milk?
I have no problem with it as an idea as long as the taste is right (see previous answer).
Would you recommend the LowLow Snack Pack to a friend?
If it came up in conversation I might, but I won't be bringing the topic up.
Would you buy the LowLow Snack Pack at the price £1.50 if it was available in your usual store?
I think it's a little overpriced, they were on offer in tesco at two for £2 and I think £1 is a more appropriate price, otherwise it comes in at twice the price of an alternative snack (crisps, chocolate bar, fruit etc) which is a bit pricey for me.
If you were previously aware of the LowLow brand, has the LowLow Snack Pack changed the way you think about the brand?
I wasn't aware of the brand, and have to say the name didn't immediately suggest "tasty" to me but I was pleasantly surprised.
Thanks for the trial :-)
