Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

We have laminate floors throughout downstairs so it sounds ideal. The quick aspect really appealed.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

I used it as a test just by the front door, onto laminate, so lots of footprints.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

Easy to use (although I still had to use a bucket to get the mop damp). I liked how quickly it dried - you could watch it disappearing! But I didn't like the fact that my floor is still mucky when I used it with a mop - with a Vileda pad it was much better.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

Fragrance - fine, didn't really notice it either way, but I do have a heavy cold at the moment!
I had no idea we're meant to rinse floors. Do people actually do that? Really??

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

No time ultimately as ended up having to use it twice. I guess it might be useful for a quick once over/guests coming over!

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

First attempt - not as effective, sadly. And then I looked at everyone else's positive reviews and gave it another go with the pad, and I'm much happier.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

The price is fine, yes I might well buy it again.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Frankly, it's unlikely to come up in conversation, but if it did, yes I might well recommend.

Q1 - I have three sons, the youngest of whom is new to solid food Hmm and we have hard floors throughout downstairs so lots of floor to mop. But often it's just a small area that needs doing. I tend to use floor wipes and was interested in this as an alternative.

Q2 - unsurprisingly I used it on the hardwood (oak) floor in the kitchen/dining room.

Q3 - it squirted on very easily and accurately for the small area, so I didn't waste any. The cleaning was very efficient and left the floor very clean and not slippery etc. Cleaner than floor wipes but more work because of using the mop itself.

Q4 - Ihad the blue version and found the smell very chemical - clean but chemical. I usually use a wood floor cleaner (concentrate diluted into lots of hot water)which is chamomile "flavour", or lemon floor wipes. I don't rinse my floors when mopping so that made no difference. I still had to rinse and wring the mop, so the only time saving was on not running a full bucket and not mopping the whole floor.

Q5 - it didn't save much time (see above) but was more effective on tougher marks than a normal mopping or a floor wipe. I would use it for tougher stains/marks rather than everyday spills and messes.

Q6 - it was a good intense clean.

Q7 - when it runs out I may well buy it again. It's too pricey for daily cleaning, but good value for the occasional tough mark cleaning detailed above. I'd want to buy a fragranced version though.

Q8 - I have already recommended it! to a friend with two new puppies who don't wipe their muddy paws. May even lend her the bottle as there's so much!

Thanks for including me, and apologies for the late response. Like others we were away for half term.

Hi, I was sent a bottle so my answers are:

  1. Wanted to take part as anything that helps makes keeping the house clean easier and quicker is worth a try!

  1. I used it on the kitchen/dining room floor which is a laminate and on the bathroom floor which is vinyl.

  1. Overall impressions were good. Easy to use though I wasn't sure how much to use. The floors cleaned up nicely. Bottle is a good shape and easy to hold.

  1. I liked the fragrance, not too over powering or chemical smelling. I don't usually rinse the floor so didn't save any time there.

  1. The cleaner was effective but probably no more so than my usual supermarket brand cleaner.

  1. The price is more than I would usually pay for a floor cleaner and I think the bottle wouldn't last as long so for me I probably wouldn't buy it again.

  1. I would recommend it as it is a good cleaner.

Thanks for including me in the trial!

Thanks for the bottle.

Q1. The reason I wanted to try this product was that I have hard floors throughout my downstairs and it takes ages to clean them.

Q2. I used it on laminate flooring throughout downstairs and also on the tiled bathroom.

Q3. I liked the smell of the cif cleaner and also the ease of use.

Q4. I really liked the smell. I went out just after cleaning and came home to a fresh smelling home.

Q5. I not sure how much time it saved, possibly only minutes filling the bucket. I don't normally rinse the floor and could see this as a good quick clean when not getting out steam mop or bucket and hot water. It would be for times when cats make muddy paw prints or the kids bring in mess.

Q6. I think it did not get the floor as clean as the steam mop but was close to the traditional mop and bucket. I did not have a flat microfiber mop but would have liked to try it with that.

Q7. I think the price is quite a lot for the bottle as I seemed to use quite a bit in cleaning a large area. However as said earlier would buy as a quick in between cleaner.

Q8. I would probably not bring up in conversation as I rarely talk about cleaning products. However I would consider buying again.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I have a dog who stays in the kitchen overnight, we have a tiled floor and I feel like the floor needs to be cleaned every day - especially cos he sometimes has accidents overnight! I'm a mum to 2 children under 4 and I work full time, I don't have time to get a bucket and mop out every day, so was interested in trying something like Cif direct to floor cleaner as I had just bought a store's own brand one to try, and wasn't sure whether it was really doing it's job well.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

Kitchen - tiled floor

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

I liked it. I really liked how quick and easy it was - I just squirted it on the floor, used the mop to quickly spread it everywhere and I loved that it dried quickly, much better than having a wet floor that you have to avoid for half hour! I didn't really dislike anything, if I had to be picky, sometimes it came out of the bottle a bit too fast.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

The fragrance was lemony but not too overwhelming. Not having to rinse afterwards was a godsend for me, less time spent on a daily boring chore = win!

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

Probably about half hour. It's already been useful when I've had a friend pop over with her child unexpectedly and needing to give the floor a quick clean asap!

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

It seemed to tackle dried on food drips (like pasta sauce) a lot easier than the stores own brand one I'd just started using.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

£2.00 is a great price for this product. I would buy it again because I paid £1 for a stores own brand one and this cif one is better.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. It makes life so much easier for me, just being able to wipe and leave, knowing that the floor is clean enough for my family.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
Its a bit sad but I love trying out new cleaning products and get excited whenever I see a new product! Also, I've tried other Cif products before and been impressed with the results so wanted to see how this one faired.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
In the kitchen on tiled floors.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I was impressed how easy it was to use. Just squirt and mop, little effort required. I was also very impressed how quickly it dried! My only small criticism would be that the fragrance wasn't very strong, I prefer a stronger, longer lasting smell.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
The fragrance wasn't quite long lasting or strong enough for me. I like a good strong clean smell. However, loved not having to rinse!

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
As a full time working mum of two it saved a lot of time as I could just squirt and run round with the mop then its done. Even had time to do it before work and the school run.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
Very effective and much easier than using a mop and bucket due to the quick drying time.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, I would buy it again. Would like to try a different fragrance if they are available.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I have already told my mum about it and recommended she give it a try.

Q1 - because we live rurally, have 3 children plus pets and have hard floors throughout the entire downstairs that are always filthy! I'm looking for something that will make it easier to get my floors clean

Q2 - In the conservatory and kitchen on tiled floors and in the living room on laminate flooring

Q3 - My first impressions was that it was a good idea as it eliminates the need to fill a bucket of water, and should making mopping faster. I liked the ease of which it's dispensed, and I disliked that it wan't very clear how much should be used and also some stubborn stains were difficult to shift.

Q4 - the fragrance wasn't very strong, but i don't mind that as long as it gets the floor clean. I wouldn't normally rinse the floor so that aspect isn't new to me.

Q5 - it didn't really save me much time as I normally steam mop, however I think this product is really useful for small spillages and target areas near doorways for example.

Q6 - I'd say it was a similar cleaning experience to steam mopping.

Q7 - I probably would buy it to keep in for spillages, target areas but I probably wouldn't use it all the time.

Q8 - yes I would recommend it to people especially those with small children and pets

Q1-we have a 2 year old who throws his food still! Wanted something quick to use.

Q2- we used it on tiles in the hall and kitchen, and wooden flooring in the living room.

Q3- I liked the idea of 'spray, was I and go' although I didn't realise till I started using it that if I sprayed it all over he floor I'd be walking through it!

Q4- it smelt just right. Not too overpowering.

Q5- I don't think it saved much time.

Q6- I was actually surprised by hoe well it did work. It was better on the tiles though than he wood.

Q7- I'd definitely buy it again. Good price.

Q8- if it came up in conversation I would reccomebd it.
