Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

With a huge dog and a toddler in the house, my floors don't stay clean for long. I have limited time to mop my floors, before the dog decides to wander around so the quick drying claim appealed to me.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

I used it throughout downstairs, on laminate floor, wooden laminate and porcelain tiles.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

Best bit was the time it took to dry. I liked the antibacterial quality of the one I tested - it's something I look for in a floor cleaner. My only slight issue was I wasn't sure how much I was meant to use.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

Fragrance was pleasant - not too strong. I never rinse my floors anyway; didn't realise I should :)

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

The time saved was in the drying time. Normally I have to mop myself to the stairs and start cleaning upstairs, but could walk on the floors within minutes. The downside is that I have also lost my excuse to mop myself to the sofa and spend half an hour or so on Mumsnet Grin

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

Just as effective in its cleaning capability, and much better in terms of drying time.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I think so. It seemed to go a long way.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I don't see why not.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I love testing new products and anything that promises to make housework faster & easier is going to catch my attention! It was the idea of mopping the floor without a bucket that appealed to me most! My toddlers always think a mop bucket is for paddling in, so I must admit, the floors don't get properly mopped often enough!

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

I've used it on laminate in the kitchen and bedroom and vinyl at the front door. I did the laminate floors at night, so lighting wasn't good enough for a decent photo. But I'm including a photo of the vinyl at the front door. Typical, I forgot a before photo!

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

I liked the ease of use best and how fast I could get the floors clean. Drying time was great too. And only a mop to rinse out afterwards - no bucket to sort out! Grin

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

The fragrance was perfect - loved the fresh floral scent it has. And it was just the right level too. Some cleaners are just toooo strong. But this was great! As for rinsing the floor, errr, not sure I ever did that!

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

I'd say it cuts the time for mopping in half - really saves time! And especially useful for quick jobs or clearing the floor after a messy toddler meal!

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

Just as effective I'd say! I was wondering how good it would work just squirting it directly on the floor - but floors look fab!

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Price seems fair and decent. Yes, I will be buying this! With 5 young children, it's hard to find enough time when the floors are empty of small people to get the floors mopped and no one slipping in the water! So this will make life much easier!

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm always ready to share/recommend products that improve life for busy mums, so yes, I'd certainly tell friends about it! :)

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most? I have used floor cleaners with the same method before but found they have never worked too well actually cleaning the floor so wanted to give this a try.
Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on? I used Cif in the bathroom on tiles and in the hall and kitchen, also on tiles.
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? I loved how quick it was to use, with 3 under 3 getting about the house I need quick fixes where possible and this definitely did the job for us.
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards? Again, so fast not having to rinse and found the floor cleaner with the damp mop to start did do a good enough job. My floors where lovely and shiny afterwards. I like the smell, some cleaners I find have a chemical smell which I don't like so the subtle smell is nice.
Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for? It saved me standing with a mop bucket, rinsing the mop out so when the kids came running in they didn't slip over which is always a plus! Great to use when you have a 5 minute warning for guests or even for a little spillage.
Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product? I found this just as good as using a solution in the mop bucket with a lot less effort.
Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? I would definitely pay £2 for a decent floor cleaner that makes work and life that bit less difficult.
Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would recommend Cif cleaner, I already have to family. It's just so simple to use and it does the job. Overall very happy with the product

Q1. I don't have room to keep a mop bucket. I have a large hall which gets mucky a lot and needs mopping every day really (not that I do). It seems quick and convenient.
Q2. I used it in the hall - nice wood laminate, and kitchen - cheapo laminate
Q3. I loved the ease of use. Loved how quick it dried.
Q4. I liked the smell. Nice and floral but subtle. I'd like it to smell slightly bleachier I suppose, I like a very clean smelling floor.
Q5. It would be useful for every day cleaning when family are still up and running about the hall due to how quick it dries. It saved me 15 mins filling the bowl and carrying it to the floor. Then of course the drying time when rooms are out of bounds.
Q6. I usually use Flash all-purpose cleaner which smells just as I'd like but is a bit more of a faff.
Q7. Yes I think that's a decent price. I'm snot sure how long the bottle would last, depends how liberally you use it.
Q8. I have already recommended it to my mum and MIL's carers who have to mop out the wetroom in the 15 minute visit. It's ideal for this.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? It was easy to use, I liked the idea of not using a mop and bucket full of water. My floor also dried quickly.
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards? I wasn't particularly keen on the smell & I don't rinse the floor after I have cleaned it so it didn't save me any time in that respect.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

With 3 kids and a cat, lots of wood floors and lino I do a lot of mopping. The no rinse and quick drying aspect appealed most to me.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

I've used it on our wooden floors in the kitchen and hall and also the lino in our toilets. It's been especially useful underneath the highchair and around the downstairs loo.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

It's very easy to use, smells attractive but not overpowering, it also dries very quickly so is not slippery.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

I like the fragrance, it's pleasant and smells clean. Not having to rinse the floor has saved me a lot of time.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

It's saved me at least ten minutes each time I clean the floor as I don't have to rinse the mop, then the bucket, refill the bucket then go all over the floor again, then wait for it to dry. I'm planning to use it in our caravan too as the no rinse quick drying aspect is very appealing when on holiday too!

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

I found it more effective than my usual shop brand product, mainly as I didn't need to rinse and the floor seemed much cleaner.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

I think I will buy it as although it's more expensive than my usual product it's more effective and also saves me time.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I've already recommended it to friends as it's such a good time saver.

Thank you for choosing me to take part in this test, it's made a big difference to our floors and my time.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I was sick of always having an unmopped kitchen and bathroom floor. My mop and bucket live in the garage due to a lack of storage and it always seemed such a hassle to trail outside for them. I also disliked having to fill the bucket of water downstairs and carry it up to the bathroom as the bucket doesn't fit under the bathroom taps very well. Having to use only a mop was very appealing.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

Kitchen and bathroom.Both laminate floors.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

I liked it. It left the floors looking clean, it was quick and easy and didn't require a bucket. It also dried a lot quicker. The only thing I wasn't so sure of was how clean the floors actually are as I don't know where the dirt goes if it's not being rinsed off into the bucket. I still think I'd give it an occasional mop with a bucket.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

The fragrance was pleasant, if anything I'd like it to be slightly stronger but not too much. I loved not having to rinse the floor after.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

It probably didn't save me a great deal of time; just the time taken to fill a bucket but it just felt so much easier. It would be useful for little spills, especially when you have small children who leave half their dinners on the floor and then don't make it to the toilet in time and wee on the bathroom floor!

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

It looked as effective although as I mentioned above I have some reservations about unseen dirt just being mopped into the floor. But then again I'm not exactly houseproud so I can live with that!

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, especially as many of my friends have small, messy children too.

I've tested a couple of Cif products now and liked them both. Can we have some more to try please? Smile

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
I have been using just an e-cloth mop on wooden floors throughout and bathroom tiled floors. The e-cloth is meant to be used without the need for products, just hot water. Never felt that the floors looked properly cleaned. Was keen to find something easy, a known and trusted brand name and something that smelt nice importantly. Love testing new products generally though!
Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
Throughout. Wooden floors in kitchen/dining room, hall, lounge, stairs, landing and bedrooms. Tiled floors in bathrooms.
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
Really impressed actually, particulary with the smell, the speed at which it dries and how non-smear it dries. Gave a nice sheen to the tiles too. I have nothing to grumble about with the product.
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
Ten out of ten for the fragrance. Not overpowering, a bit like something from an expensive diffuser. Best my hallway has smelt since we moved in a year ago. Always a bonus not having to rinse, but I'd avoid any product like the plague if it required that!
Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
Saved me literally hours. Particularly useful for a quick daily clean of floors which have children running across them and in a busy house. Having said that, useful for anywhere. Directional spray too so good for tight spots in bathrooms etc.
Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
Before Cif, I spent so long using the e-cloth mop, rinsing the head out and soaking in boiling water to try and ensure anti-bacterial cleaning of the floor. With the Cif Express, the smell wasn't clinical but was reassuringly clean smelling.
Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely will buy and use again, for the smell alone but the ease of cleaning is fantastic. I used Flash Express Mop System in previous house with just a kitchen floor, and the cleaning product and mop itself weren't anywhere near as good as the Cif Express. I'm using the ecloth mop with it for now but can't see a problem using it with any other mop head.
Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Already have. My mum had seen advertising and was pleased to know it works well, will buy next time, and sister has wooden floors too so will recommend to her.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most? To compare with my current product - Method squirt and mop
Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on? Kitchen - faux wood laminate
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? It had leaked in postage so wasn't a great start..... Easy to use and seems very effective. Bottle tall and skinny and easy to knock over and also not so easy to fit on narrower shelves... Due to spillage the label had almost all peeled off so I couldn't read instructions etc... Would be better with a water resistant label.
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards? Fragrance was ok but a bit insipid.
Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for? It is my usual method to clean floor so no time saving. Good for anyone wanting to save time and effort!
Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product? Very similar - dried really quick though.
Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? Possibly but I like the fragrance (lemon ginger) and bottle shape of my current 'method' bottle. Cif is probably cheaper which could sway my decision.
Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would mention it as a labour saving option to floor cleaning.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
I wanted to take part because I love trying new products on the market and this looked like a very good product. It was appealing to me because of the quickness, no need to fill up mop buckets.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
I used Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner on my kitchen floor. It is wooden laminate.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I really liked this product it was quick to use and had a nice smell. I liked most that it was anti-bacterial and the quickness of use, no need to fill my mop bucket.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
I love the fragrance of this, it left a very clean smell. I found not having to rinse the floor great and it was quicker to dry than normal wet mopping.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
I'd say it saved me about 10-15 minutes, one squirt & it cleaned away my dried spilt coffee stain (shown in the photo). I'm forever spilling my coffee or the dog is traipsing mud in. So, for me it's ideal for quick clean ups like this. And with it being anti-bacterial it kills germs too.

Yes I would definately use again & that's a good price. I'm surprised it's only £2.00, I thought it would cost more.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would recommend this to my friends/family. It is well worth the money & it's one of the best floor products I've used.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
I liked the idea of spraying it directly - no messing about with buckets!

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

My bathroom tile floor
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
It was easy to use - but I could not tell easily where I had sprayed it...Even though my floor is white! It worked well, but hard to tell how much liquid I'd used!

  1. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

It was not a strong fragrance at all - which was ok...I never rinse the floor anyway so that was good!

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I love mumsnet product tests!! I have floors to clean and anything that would make that job easier appeals to me.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

Tiled floor in the kitchen and laminate floor in living room

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

It had a nice fragrance but the smell faded fast.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

It had a nice smell in the bottle but it was a fragrance that did not linger. I do not usually rinse my floor after cleaning afterwards – is this something people do?

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

It did dry really quickly (usually I wash my floors with a mop and bucket and it takes ages to dry). In a household of six this can prove difficult as there is always somebody traipsing in and out.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

Same effect really – sorry! However, it did dry quicker.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would use it again rather than any other brand as I have tried this and it does do the job.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would mention it if it came up in conversation and in a positive way.

Q1. Have a toddler and 2 large dogs so happy to try anything that makes cleaning quick and easy.
Q2. Kitchen, dining and living room on tiles and kardean flooring.
Q3. Easy to squirt and wipe. Dried quick. Left spots where sprayed on Kardean so had to then mop.
Q4. Smelt slightly chemically but smell didn't last very long. Had to properly mop kardean floor to remove spray spots.
Q5. Didn't save any time due to remop. Would be good as a spot cleaner for those odd spills.
Q6. My normal cleaver leaves ok marks or smears and is just as quick to use, with a non chemical fragrance so will not be replacing.
Q7. Won't be replacing normal clean but may keep in store for spot cleans.
Q8. Would recommend on tiles or for spot cleaning but not wood/laminate type floors for main cleaning.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
i used it in my kitchen, cream tiles

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I liked that it was easy to use, although my floor gets so bad with three dogs and us coming in from the yard that I did have to rinse my mop. If I use it in the lounge on laminate I won't need to do this so therefore it would be quicker. On the kitchen tiles I could see where I'd sprayed it.

. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

We live on a farm with 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats and very sociable chickens! Only 2 rooms are carpeted so mopping floors is a daily (at least!) task, so anything which makes this easier and quicker appeals.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

I used it in the hall and kitchen (quarry tiles) office (ceramic tiles) bathrooms (ceramic tiles) stairs and bedrooms (wood floors).

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

It worked well on the tiled floors and dried really quickly, with no streaks or marks (which I was expecting TBH). The best part was the speed and was of use - no more lugging a bucket upstairs! I didn't spray directly onto the wood floors, just put some product onto the damp mop and used it that way, which worked well.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

I liked the fragrance - fresh but not overpowering. House smelled clean, rather than of wet dog.
What is this "rinse" you speak of? (Who has time for that, seriously!)

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

Cut down mopping time by about half I would say, and is perfect for a quick once over/freshen up before people come round, as it dries so quickly.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

It's very effective when the floors aren't too bad, but there's no way round using a mop and bucket with bleach and water when the dogs have been for a run!

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Will definitely buy again, for upstairs use and freshening up downstairs. It's just so easy.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I already have, to my neighbour who has holiday cottages!

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
I have a potty training pre-schooler and two messy kids in total in a house filled with laminate and ceramic tiles. It usually takes me hours to wash all my floors and the idea of the diret to floor cleaner appealed as it sounded much quicker and easier than the product I usually use.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
In my Kitchen on ceramic floor tiles.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
My first impression was that I would need to use a lot of the product and wouldn't be left with much but this was proven untrue when I used it.
I liked the ease of use and how quickly the floor dried after I was finished cleaning (approx. 10-15 minutes).
I wasn't too keen on the nozzle. It seem to drip out of the bottle and would have had better 'coverage' across the floor if it has a squeezable spray top.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
It had a slight chemical smell but it soon wore off. The overall fragrance was fresh and clean I'd give it 6/10 as I couldn't pick up lemon & apple scent very well.
I liked not having to rinse the floor after. The majority of my home is ceramic tile or laminate and it usually takes me just as long to rinse the floor as to clean it so it was great only having to wipe the floor once.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
I would say it saved me around 20 minutes overall as I didn't have to rinse the floors after use. It would be good for a quick weekly clean of the floors or when you don't have much time.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
I found it just as effective as my usual cleaning product.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Possibly. It costs more than my usual cleaner and although it saves me time I don't think I would get as many uses as my usual cleaner. If it was on offer I would definitely purchase it though.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, as it was much quicker to clean my floors. It was also easy to use and left my floors clean and shiny.

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
Lots of different floor types - Karndean, cheap laminate, tiles and wood to clean. Thought it would be simple to have one product that does all
Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on? Used in bathroom, kitchen and porch. Was used on Karndean, tiles and laminate. Didn't used on wood as specifically mentioned to use on varnished wood and I think ours was just oiled
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? It was like diluted floor cleaner - expected it to be thicker but was watery (which I liked). Thought it good for a small area of mess - so ideal for a quick clean up. What I didn't like was that I was expected to use a damp mop - which in my house means filling up the mop bucket, dunking in the mop and then squeezing the water out - so if I was going to do that I'd just have filled the water with my normal Cif floor cleaner - so having the direct cleaner was of no use then
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards? Fragance was fresh and lemony - very good - but don't rinse floors anyway
Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for? Didn't save any time when doing a whole room - in fact it would take longer as would be difficult to put it everywhere at the start - so you'd need to stop to continually spray the floor. I found it very useful for small areas - I sprayed and then wiped with a bit of kitchen roll - so much easier than a damp mop
Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product? Pretty much the same
Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? Not sure - wouldn't buy to clean large areas but it was better than wiping up a small area with just a damp cloth
Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? I'd say they could try it - it might be better suited to someone who has smaller areas to keep clean
