Still waiting here....

Q1 I wanted to take part in this test as I have laminate floor in several rooms in my house and it always looks grubby. My toddler loves playing in the conservatory so I need to keep the floor as clean as possible.
Q2 I've used Cif Express on the bathroom floor, kitchen floor, hall and conservatory. They are all laminate.
Q3 I am completely impressed by how clean Cif Express has made my floors. They smell and look great and it took me no time at all to do. I must admit I found the design of the bottle a bit of a pain as it doesn't seem very secure to store (the cap is pretty flimsy), but the product itself is great!
Q4 I really liked the fragrance, it's lovely and fresh and not too 'chemically'. I was worried about not rinsing the floor as presumed the liquid would be sticky but in fact it dries really well.
Q5 I saved loads of time using Cif Express. It's great for any sort of home really, I mean who wants to be having the hassle of wringing the mop out when you don't need it.
Q6 I think it was very effective mainly because it was thicker and so could be directed where needed more efficiently. I used to mop and the use floor wipes so in that respect it's far more efficient.
Q7 I think £2 is really good value. I spend far more than that on floor wipes, as well as floor cleaner usually so it will save me a lot. I'll definitely get it again, but might try a different fragrance!
Q8 I've already recommended it to my sister who is moving into a house which is hard flooring throughout. She will find it so useful. I'm sure I'll recommend it to others as well as am genuinely impressed.

Chaby · 20/05/2014 10:02

Q1. quick and easy - very short of time, have 2 cats who bring in mud / kick their litter everywhere
Q2. kitchen and bathroom - tiled floor, living room - wood laminate
Q3. very easy to use, took no time to clean floors
Q4. quite subtle but nice
Q5. was great for quick emergency clean but would probably continue to use steam mop for deep clean
Q6. seemed pretty good
Q7. maybe
Q8. a cleaning product would have to be outstanding to mention to others, so probably not. does the job but wouldn't get excited by it!

HappySunflower · 20/05/2014 10:05

I still haven't received mine. I did email in yesterday but haven't had a reply yet.

chocolateshoes · 20/05/2014 10:15

Q1. I hate cleaning the floor and liked the idea of something quicker than a mop & bucket
Q2. Tiles in the bathroom and wood flooring in the kitchen
Q3. I liked the simplicity of it, the "wash & go" effect
Q4. I liked the depth of fragrance, it was just right
Q5. It saved me a lot if time especially for the upstairs bathrooms
Q6. Just as good
Q7. I'm sure I will buy it and keep a bottle in upstairs bathroom. Then I'll clean the floors more regularly!
Q8. Yes I would because it was so much quicker & easier. I have a bad back so lugging buckets around the house isn't great.

Ds enjoyed helping me and because of the squirty dispenser didn't spray too much everywhere. Another bonus!

Mine has just arrived today so I will get cleaning and get back to you!

Grockle · 20/05/2014 12:30

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I have 2 boys and a dog and have very mucky floors which I vacuum every day. I wanted an easy way to keep them clean without lugging a bucket of water around. This seemed like a good solution.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

Kitchen - vinyl
Hall - Engineered wood
Bathroom - Laminate

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

It was easy to use and smelled nice. Wasn't sure how much to use when I was squirting it.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

I liked the scent - I got the blue one. Smells fresh but a couple of hours after it's dried, you can't smell it/

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

None really, I still needed a bucket of water to clean the mop every now and then.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

The floors looked clean but I'm not sure it is better than water & cleaning solution

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes - because it's easy to use.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably - explaining what I have said above.

fancyanotherfez · 20/05/2014 13:03

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most? I wanted to take part as I have trouble finding the time to do more than the basic home maintenance. Anything that saves me time is good! the aspect that appealed to me most was that I could just squirt it onto the floor and mop it up.
Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on? On the kitchen tiled floor and dining room wood floor.
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? I liked it in the main. Nice clean smell, easy to use and convenient. I didnt like the lack of instructions. i squirted loads on the floor fairly liberally and I found the kitchen floor a little tacky for a while. It did dry more, but it did take a few more minutes.
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards? Fresh smelling. My partner commented on the smell when he came in from work.
Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for? It has saved a lot of time, mainly because I would me more likely to use it more often, rather than waiting for the floor to get so dirty that I have to scrup away at it for hours. Also may do it when I have visitord
Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product? Very nice and clean
Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I probably would.
Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would because of the convenience and it is good on wooden floors where you shouldnt use too much water.

mum2tots · 20/05/2014 14:26

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

Finding time to mop the floors and keep my kids and foster children off it long enough for it to try is a constant struggle. I was hoping this would solve my problems.....and it did.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

The entire downstairs! Laminate living room and hallway, vinyl in the downstairs toilet, glossed tiles in the utility room and matt tiles in the kitchen/diner.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

I loved it! The nozzle was well designed so you didn't accidental squirt it halfway up the wall. The scent was really clean and it dried super fast.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

The fragrance was good, not too strong but a clean, hygienic smell which stayed around for ages afterwards. Not having to rinse the floor was a time saver!

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

This saved me so much time, i was able to clean the entire downstairs floor in less than half the time. As a foster family with our own young children and a labrador its really hard to find the time to get the cleaning done, especially the floor. Once you have the time to do it you have to bargain and nag with the kids to keep off the floor while it dries as well, this just adds to the effort and stress. With Cif Express all of those problems are gone, within no time at all everyone can walk around the house again.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

We use a supermarket own brand direct to floor, it squirts all over the place, even the walls and it takes forever to dry, this product is so much better than what we have been using.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes! The price is more than fair for the time saved and the clean shine on all the floors.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, it could save so many of my friends so much time, especially with young children.

Bagpussss · 20/05/2014 15:10

Q1. I wanted to take part to try a new product I didn't have to use a bucket for to dilute.

Q2. Used it on the tiled kitchen floor, and laminate effect hallway and bedroom floors.

Q3. Loved the product as it was so quick and easy to use, and the fact that it made my floors shine and smelt lovely.

Q4. I found the fragrence strength strong which is good as you could smell it afterward, and it was fab not having to rinse the floor after, so a quick mop up was great.

Q5. I would say it saved me about 10 minutes by being direct to floor and no rinse.

Q6. I found it very effective, and better than my normal rinse solution.

Q7. I would pay £2.00 for the product and use again.

Q8. I would tell friends and family about this product, I would say how effective it was, and how quick and easy it is to use.

HemlockStarglimmer · 20/05/2014 16:12

I'm back!

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
The fact that I wouldn't need a bucket of water.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
Kitchen floor. Ceramic tiles.
Bathroom and loo floors. Sealed cork tiles.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
It cleaned well. Mostly I liked that the floor wasn't soaking wet. There was nothing I didn't like.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
It smelled just fine. Not overpowering which is a plus. Not having to rinse saved time.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
It probably saved twenty minutes overall. My kitchen and bathroom aren't large. Very useful for sticky spills.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
Just as effective.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
I'm on a very tight budget so would stock up whenever it was on special offer.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I would recommend it. It is a nice quick way to clean the floor.

Rattitude · 20/05/2014 16:41

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
Cleaning the floors is not my favourite chore. Shoes inside the house are banned so thankfully, the floors do not get very dirty. Still, I should clean them more frequently than I do.
My kitchen floor is tiled and the floor is laminate in the lounge. I was interested in using a versatile product that could be used on both types of flooring.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
Kitchen floor: tiles.
Lounge: laminate.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I liked the product. It is very easy to use and pretty effortless too. The cleaner comes out in a thin stream and it is easy to control where to squirt it.
I liked the smell (lemon and apple). I think it cleaned well and its use is straightforward. However, my laminate was not gleaming after I had cleaned it. It might just be my fault: I should have rinsed my e-cloth after cleaning the kitchen and before cleaning the lounge.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
I really liked the lemony zingy smell. I liked not having to rinse the floor afterwards. However, I would not buy any cleaning products that require rinsing. Life is too short!

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
I already use a similar product for my lounge so I did not save any time there. However, I probably saved about 10-15 minutes for my kitchen, as I normally clean it on my hands and knees.

I think the product would be excellent for regular use and any little cleaning touch-up that is required. It might not be as effective if my flooring (especially kitchen tiles) was really muddy/dirty because my tiles are not smooth and the dirt can be ingrained or settle in the grouting.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
I currently use two distinct cleaning products for my kitchen and my lounge. I think Cif Express is as good as my current cleaning product for laminate floors.
It is probably not quite as good as my current product for my kitchen tiles. However, there is no comparison in terms of the effort that is required. The fact that the product can cover two different types of flooring is also a massive bonus.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I think I am likely to buy it again. I may then use Cif for regular and spot cleaning and use my current cleaning product on the kitchen tiles every so often to ensure that any residual dirt in the grouting is dislodged.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I would. I think it is an easy-to-use, effective and versatile product, which is reasonably priced.

KateOxford · 20/05/2014 18:48

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
The fact it can be used on wood floors and doesn't have to be rinsed. I wanted to take part as I haven't found a cleaning product which states this before.
Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on? In the kitchen on real wood floor.
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? I was happy with it overall. I needed to use quite a bit of the liquid but it came out easily, had a pleasant scent and gave good results.
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards? I liked the fragrance although it was not too strong a smell. I liked not having to rinse the floor afterwards and it dried quickly.
Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for? I would use this as an all over cleaner, I often only spit clean the floor as haven't found a product which can be used all over the floor.
Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product? I found it very effective. It didn't need much scrubbing compared to the usual floor wipes I use.
Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would buy it. I think that's good value b
Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would.

Nigglenaggle · 20/05/2014 20:04

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
My floors are filthy! We have two young, messy children and big hairy dogs. It's a constant work keeping them halfway clean!

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
I used it in the gap between kitchen and dining room where the youngests highchair sits. It's an old, crappy laminate floor

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
I was extremely impressed. I will post photos - the floor was stomach churning. Those black marks are the sticky areas where pre-sucked bits of bread and banana had been stuck to the floor. I did let it soak for a couple of minutes while I did the chair itself, but it was so quick. I'm often disappointed by cleaning products (because we are so filthy I guess lol) but this was different. Top marks, it was effortless.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
Normally I get the mop and bucket out and it takes 15-20 minutes as I do the whole floor. What I'll probably start doing is tackling the filthiest spots on a daily basis with the Cif, and then just weekly doing the whole floor. I expect my floor will be cleaner AND I'll save time. I feel almost giddy.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
An order of magnitude better. I use fairy usually.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Extremely likely, I love it. Thank you very much for my bottle it is much appreciated.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I might recommend it even if it doesn't come up in conversation, its very good. I didn't expect it to be so easy to get those marks shifted.

Photos to follow. My floors are old and horrible so even the clean photo has some cracks. But this is as clean as they get!!

Just realised I missed question 4 - the fragrance is fine, I barely noticed it, but its pleasant

sharond101 · 20/05/2014 20:17

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most? The convenience and speed of how quick I could clean my floor as I have a dog a DH who never takes his shoes off and a toddler so my floors are always dirty.
Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on? I used it on laminate in my kitchen and hall and linoleum in my bathrooms.
Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like? I ove how quick you can clean the floor with it and how quick it dried. I did have to rinse the mop alot so al claims about no rinsing aren't quite true. I like t smell my detergent after cleaning as it makes me feel I have achieved something, with this the smell wasn't so strong I noticed it and that felt disappointing.
Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards? I liked the fragrance but it wasn't strong enough and didn't last long enough. I've never rinsed the floor before so didn't notice a difference.
Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for? It saved me around 15minutes I'd say so good for most situations.
Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product? I thought is cleaned well as long as I rinsed my mop several times.
Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not? It's been on offer alot of places for £1 when Iam more likely to buy it at that price.
Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes but not at £2.

chicaguapa · 20/05/2014 21:42

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

The speed and ease of using a direct to floor cleaner instead of a mop & bucket.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

I used it in the kitchen on a tiled floor.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

My overall impression is that I still had to get the mop and bucket out so I could make it damp and wring it out.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

I liked the smell of it. It was very fresh.

I don’t usually rinse the floor afterwards though I did notice that there wasn’t any stickiness.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

I’m not sure it saved me a lot of time really as I still used a mop and needed the bucket to squeeze the mop so it wasn’t dripping wet. I noticed the picture on the bottle had a different style mop so maybe it’s more timesaving for one of those.

It would be useful if you had dropped something on the floor and wanted to clean it up with a cloth and not a mop.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

The floor looked the same afterwards. I’m used to cleaning it and leaving so I’m not sure if it dried more quickly. I’ll check next time.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

The price seems reasonable but I’m not sure if it would go as far as another floor cleaner as you’re not diluting it.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I’d recommend they tried it but I’m still not 100% convinced it saved me any time or hassle.

snice · 20/05/2014 22:50

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
It appealed to me because of the convenience of spray and wipe rather than getting a proper mop and bucket out

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
In all the downstairs rooms where we have a mixture of tiles, vinyl and laminate flooring

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
Easy to use, the floor dried quickly afterwards and it didnt feel sticky afterwards which I thought it would if I didn't rinse. Easy to give t6he hall floor tiles a 30second 'touch up' when the children tramped through after school. The only thing I would change would be to make the product come out in more of a spray that a dribble.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
I had the blue antibacterial product and the fragrance smelled 'clean'; however I would have preferred it to be a bit stronger if anything.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
Im not sure if I can quantify that. It did though make me clean the hall floor in particular more often as its so quick to give it a quick once over.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
It cleans well-at least as well as trad product

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Not a bad price but I wonder if its easy to use too much when youre spraying straight onto the floor so it works out less economic. I would buy it again.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Unlikely to come up in conversation but if it did I would recommend it, yes.

Q1: I have never used Cif products before and would not have picked one off the shelf prior to trying this product. I also wanted to try the convience of not washing the floor again after.

Q2: In the kitchen on amtico flooring.

Q3: I liked the fact that it wasnt sticky afterwards but I dont like it when there is no indication of how much to use. The smell was pleasant but not strong enough. I like home to smell clean when ive made the effort to do so! Please make it stronger smelling!!!

Q4: oops as above! Not rinsing felt odd though.

Q5:not much time but its usefull and very quick.

Q6: cleans well, but its not much different to any other product in the end appearance.

Q7: £2 is ok but it will always be on offer at a lower price. I dont buy any products sprays etc at that price i look whats on offer.

Q8: Yep and have done so, my mum has a bit and 2 mums at school had a capful each to try! Not much left .....can i have another bottle please?

MrsMaturin · 21/05/2014 08:22

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I have very grubby, tired vinyl in the kitchen that washing with water is just a huge effort Grin

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

See above - kitchen, vinyl.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

Unfortunately my bottle split in the post and the small split became huge as soon as I tried to use it but once I'd decanted it in to something else I thought it was pretty good. It doesn't look too 'heavy' nor too runny. I like the convenience of the product. That's the big thing in it's favour for me.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

Fragrance is fine, my husband is asthmatic so we don't like too strong a fragrance.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

5-10 minutes. I think it's most useful as a cleaner for trouble spots.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

Usual cleaning product is doing nothing Grin So VERY effective compared to that.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

I actually will buy this again!

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

I don't talk about cleaning with my friends or family. However if they admire my clean floor I'll tell them why Grin

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?
I have three kids and two dogs - enough said ! Anything that saves time and fights grime (how poetic !) has to be a good thing

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?
In the kitchen on brick red tiles - in the hall on lino - in the living/dining room on vinyl fake parquet

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?
It does shift general grime and doesn't leave the floor sticky, which I was worried about

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?
It smells lovely but I would have preferred a stronger fragrance - I love a potent "clean & fresh" smell after I've been cleaning. Not having to rinse was handy - it didn't save a huge amount of time but it required less effort, which is just as important

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?
A few minutes for the actual cleaning, but I didn't have to go downstairs for the bucket then wait for it to fill up with water

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?
About the same

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, that's pretty good value

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, it's great for a quick flash-cleaning session when you need to get floors clean quickly with little effort

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I hate lugging that bucket around, and emptying it down the loo afterwards (cue wet bleachy floor) so a bucket-free alternative was very welcome.

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

I received it yesterday and so far have only used on my tiled hall floor.

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

I was pleased with it. It was easy and unfussy to use. At first I was a bit surprised at how thin the solution was so I used a bit too much but soon got used to it.

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

Pleasant, subtle, non-bleachy fragrance. It was fantastic not have to rinse the floor, and a great result - looks really shiny.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

It saved me about five to ten mins. I think I'll use it all the time, and take a bottle on holiday (self-catering apartment).

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

It was just as good, if not better.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I will buy it again.

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I'm going to mention it to my mum this afternoon!

Q1. Why did you want to take part in this product test? What aspect of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner appealed most?

I have 3 children and keeping the house clean is basically a 24/7 situation, willing to try anything to get the work done faster

Q2. Where in your home did you use the Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What type of floor did you use it on?

*Living room, on the fake wood floors

Q3. What was your overall impression of Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner? What did you like most about it? Was there anything you didn't like?

It worked it left the floor clean and it was quick. What I didn't like was that if I were going to to do a proper clean of my floor I would still need a mop bucket, which is why I chose to do it on just a small section of floor after lunch by hand with a fleece cloth. I'm also concerned about the environmental impact as generally we are going toward more concentrated products and this is literally the opposite, with cleaning product and water in a large bottle that needs to br transported. I'd say it was pretty wasteful actually

Q4. How would you describe or rate the fragrance of the product? How did you find not having to rinse the floor afterwards?

*the scent was nice enough, subtle. I prefer no scent myself I don't like fake smells or my house smelling like a hospital but this was fine.

Q5. How much time would you say it saved you? What sort of situation do you think this would be particularly useful for?

A couple of minutes on a small space were saved I suppose. I think this product is probably not best for families with children but would be perfect for adults with no children who have reasonable clean floors anyway, but just want to shine it up before having people over, otherwise you need a bucket to rinse the mop

Actually there is one time when it is good for parents.. we have a toddler potty training at the moment and it has been good for just quickly cleaning the floor after accidents.

Q6. How effective did you find Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner compared to your usual cleaning product?

About the same I'd say.

Q7. The RRP for Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner is £2.00 (750ml bottle), do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not, why not?

I might keep a bottle in to use as a last minute thing or to do small areas like the bathroom that don't get too grubby more often than when I do a proper mop with a bucket

Q8. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably not, unless they had mobility issues or some sort of handicap that made carrying a bucket around difficult.

We would also love to see some before and after pictures so please feel free to add these to this thread.
