This thread is for the 150 Mumsnetters who have been trying Always Dailies Flexible Liners.

Non testers: Add your thoughts on the small things that make a positive difference to your day for a chance to win £100.

Always say "All women, whether they're pregnant or not, have some vaginal discharge – but during pregnancy and at other times of the month or at certain times in our lives, the amount of discharge often increases. This is perfectly normal and healthy and shows that your body is working correctly.

Always Dailies Pantyliners help to cope with the additional discharge – by locking away the moisture all day. These ultra-thin, breathable pantyliners absorb any moisture, and can be replaced whenever you want a boost of freshness and added comfort."

Non-testers: Share on this thread what, on an average day, are the small things that help boost your confidence, such as the use of a pantyliner, which keeps you feeling fresh and dry throughout the day. Everyone who shares their thoughts will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers.

Testers: Thank you to all of you who are taking part. Below are a few questions for you to answer but please feel free to add any other comments you have too.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Every tester who adds their feedback to this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MN tester will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

Non tester- it's the little things that make the difference in life. Things that boost my confidence are my bb cream that gives me a fabulous glow and makes me look good when inside I might be feeling bleurgh. My fabulous mascara that makes it look like I've applied my makeup (or lack of!) and improved my appearance a million times over. Hair oil that makes my hair look great. A nice matching set of undies (you wouldn't want to end up in hospital with dodgy grey ones!) and a panty liner that fits... That doesn't stick to everything but your pants and scrunch up so you may as well have not bothered!

My overall impression of Allways Dailies was good, I expected them to be bulkier but they were thin, discrete and I was pleased to see they were un-perfumed.

I found them to be comfortable and left me feeling fresher. They were easy to incorporate into my daily routine.

I am not pregnant but could have certainly done with them when I was! I would definitely recommend them if it came up in conversation- as things like this inevitably do once you are a Mum!

I would definitely purchase these again but have not used my Figleaves voucher yet, although I might still treat myself if it hasn't expired.

Thanks

I'm a non tester-the small things that make a positive difference to my day include-unexpected good weather, a phone call (or even better, a letter) from a friend, my little boy learning something new or just being in a loving mood (like today when he insisted on brushing my hair). A good new series being shown on TV, getting a takeaway instead of having to cook, having an hour or so to myself to get stuck into a book...

Tester.

  1. I liked the product. The liners are small and thin. They aren't individually packaged, which is good from a waste point of view but makes them less discrete if you wanted to have them in your bag.

  1. I definitely felt fresher using them. It was very comfortable and I couldn't tell it was there. I walk a lot and found that I still felt fresh no matter how hot I had been on the walk

  1. Very easy to use, there's nothing complicated about them.

  1. I'm not pregnant, but am a new mum and would recommend them. I think you can be very self conscious when pregnant and they just give a bit of peace of mind.

  1. I probably will use them again. As I said, I walk a lot with the pram and can sometimes worry about how presentable I'll be when I get to my destination. These just take that worry away.

  1. I haven't bought anything with the voucher as the minimum spend before you can use it is a bit high whilst on mat leave.

I am not a tester but one thing that keeps me positive is keeping a picture on my phone that my son drew of me and him, when I feel like I need a positive uplift I sit down with a cup of tea and look at it as it remind me how much I am loved no matter how much the kids are driving me crazy at that exact moment.

  1. I really liked these. They were discrete and I hardly noticed I was wearing one.

  1. I felt fresh and comfortable throughout the day which improved my confidence.

  1. They were quick and easy to use, really no effort at all.

  1. I would definitely recommend them to other pregnant women as they leave you comfortable and fresh and get rid of one really annoying side effect of pregnancy!

  1. I have already bought more!

  1. I am going to buy some amazing pretty underwear for after baby is born.

Hi, I'm not a tester but I use Always and have just had a baby. I switched to them after using the maternity ones which made me feel like I had a rolled up towel (a real one!) stuffed in my pants. I have always (!) loved always and have been using them for years and years. I find them really thin but absorbent and I like the packaging. Not only the packaging (which currently comes with cute ribbons to close the packs once you've opened them) but the packaging around the actual liner as it has the little sticky tab so you can use it to wrap a used one tightly so it doesn't take up room in the bin or stick to the side of the bin - which means you or whoever empties the bin has to pick it off the side. Grim so thankfully with always that's avoided!

Small things that boost confidence: a bit of make-up, high heels, perfume, a good night's sleep and the DCs behaving themselves! Also, buying myself a little treat like a nail polish or a lipstick.

Having a thin pantyliner makes such a difference and I worry less about all the things that come with that. I have to be very discreet about it at home otherwise confidence dissipates when DH laughs at it for leakage/perceived waste of money/implications of being smelly/damp/etc

Not having a fat bubble/muffin/etc when wearing clothes

Smelling nice all day

Having everything with me (including my emergency bag needs which do include tampons and pantyliners

Comfy socks

Non tester here - Wearing a bit of make up makes me feel confident. Taking time to get ready but small children do not always allow this.

The small things that make a difference to me are, waking up to sunshine coming through my curtains, hearing the children laughing (instead of arguing) and my hair and make-up going right!

I think wearing pant liners like these is a must for people like me especially if your out and about, there is nothing more damaging to your confidence than worrying about leaks etc and freshness. As I've got older I sometimes get a bit of stress incontinence if I get a bad coughing fit or if I need the loo quickly and can't get there quite as quickly sometimes. Its not a bad case just once in a while but the thought of embarassment if you do have a bit of trouble doesnt bare thinking about. I always use always pant liners not sure if they are exactly the same as your testers tried but I swear by them. They are so discreet yet are enough protection without feeling that you are wearing a nappy! Also to be blunt your undies stay as clean and fresh as a brand new pair if you wear liners.

  1. Thin, well sized, and good amount of adhesive.
  2. Yes, am a couple of months post giving birth so definitely gave me more confidence.
  3. Yes, very simple, and remember most days. Not sure how you could complicate the process of wearing a pantyliner though?
  4. Am not currently pregnant, but did wear them during pregnancy to keep an eye on things, and also for freshness. Would recommend.
  5. Am still using.
  6. Am not going to use.

What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?
I was rather impressed reasonable quality, nice and discrete and hugely effective. I loved the fact they weren't scented as this factor often annoys me.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes i loved the fact they were comfortbale, much more than other brands I've used and also they kept the shape well and didn't disintegrate or leak any oudur.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Absolutely, extremely useful and simple even when you didn't necessarily need the simplicity meant no issues.
  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm not currently pregnant but if I am in future I can see them been highly beneficial and top of my list to use due to comfort amongst other factors
  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again? Most likely to use them if they are on offer or they sell them locally to me

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher? I haven't yet purchased anything saving for a summer holiday etc

  1. Didn't realise how much I needed them, now they are essential!
  2. Very confident and definitely fresher, but didn't notice them at all. No dodgy odours after a hectic day!
  3. So easy as part of routine, maybe have a reuse able pouch in each packet so they could pop into hand bag, but not have the waste packaging of individually wrapped liners.

4.Would recommend if the subject came up, but so much other advice to pass on, it's probably way down the list.
  1. Pretty likely.
  2. Bravado maternity bra, so comfortable a definite end of pregnancy essential!

hi, sorry its taken so long to add my feedback, its really hard to answer questions on the app as you cant see the post with the questions in and you can't copy and paste agh! anyway,

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

They seemed small and very thin but did the job, I was suprised :)

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

I wasn't worried about spotting which I get every now and again with the pill I'm on

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yep

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

I don't think I would be confident that they would cope with much more than spotting so I would reccomend them for that, anything heavier I think I would want something more substantial (but they are liners not towels)

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

I will use them again

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

not sure yet!
