Always Dailies Flexible Liners Feedback thread: non testers - add your thoughts on the small things that make a positive difference to your day for a chance to win £100 NOW CLOSED

This thread is for the 150 Mumsnetters who have been trying Always Dailies Flexible Liners.

Non testers: Add your thoughts on the small things that make a positive difference to your day for a chance to win £100.

Always say "All women, whether they're pregnant or not, have some vaginal discharge – but during pregnancy and at other times of the month or at certain times in our lives, the amount of discharge often increases. This is perfectly normal and healthy and shows that your body is working correctly.

Always Dailies Pantyliners help to cope with the additional discharge – by locking away the moisture all day. These ultra-thin, breathable pantyliners absorb any moisture, and can be replaced whenever you want a boost of freshness and added comfort."

Non-testers: Share on this thread what, on an average day, are the small things that help boost your confidence, such as the use of a pantyliner, which keeps you feeling fresh and dry throughout the day. Everyone who shares their thoughts will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers.

Testers: Thank you to all of you who are taking part. Below are a few questions for you to answer but please feel free to add any other comments you have too.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Every tester who adds their feedback to this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MN tester will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Good - they're a bit more substantial than the flexi ones that are very thin. They stayed in place well too. I'm quite likely to buy these in future instead of the carefree ones I've been using.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I felt fresh and comfortable. I didn't feel much 'wetness'.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yes - though I wear pantyliners every day anyway.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm not pregnant (12 weeks postpartum) but I would recommend them for the extra discharge you can get while pregnant (that I still get now!)

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Very likely

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Nothing. I'm not likely to spend £40 on underwear to benefit.

Yes.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm not pregnant but have been recently, and yes I would recommend them. I'd also recommend them to someone who has just had a baby, not immediately after but once things have settled down a bit.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

I already have bought some more.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Haven't bought anything yet, partly because I'd forgotten. I'm now off to look for a new bra!

Thanks for letting me test these.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Quite good. I was impressed with how well they stayed in place

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

A little fresher yes, not really more comfortable or confident - but I have never struggled with either of those!!

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

I struggled to find the time to change them to be honest, so probably didn't get the full benefit - some days I might have just as well worn pants.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

N/A

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

I won't say there aren't circumstances when I might, I thought they were well designed for the job they were intended for. Someone mentioned Tena above - I would probably use over that brand as I'd find them less embarrassing to buy. But I haven't fitted them into my routine that well so there probably isn't any point buying more. Also I did start to worry about the environmental impact - they don't look very biodegradable.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

I think when I have finished breast feeding I will treat myself to a nice new bra - I have changed shape completely since having kids.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Shorter and thicker than I'd imagined. Also they had some sort of absorbent gel strip, like the tena lights

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, felt fresher than not wearing them. Quite liked the confidence it gave me

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Easy to apply, simple to use.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

Not pregnant, and I don't talk of such things to friends!

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Fairly likely to use them again, I've become quite used to wearing them now. I liked that they were a bit thicker than other brands, but not with the cotton wool padding, they didn't disintegrate with wear as some of the cheaper ones can. The absorbent gel strip was good. I think this gives these liners the edge over other brands.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Not used it yet, but it will be a bra of some sort, and the money off coupon will be most useful. Flowers

Two essential products for daily confidence no matter where I am going are a decent liner and deodorant.
Having suffered with bladder issues for years which have only very recently been resolved I still rely on a good quality liner that won't move.
A spritz of my favourite perfume gives that extra lift for somewhere special.

I'm a tester.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Pantyliners?

Extremely discreet, comfortable and hassle-free product that allows you to be confident all day.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

I only ever occasionally use Pantyliners, always dailies made me feel fresher than and were the closest to not using anything that I have felt. At six months pregnant with my second baby my pelvic floor isn't the strongest and I felt confident that an unexpected sneeze wouldn't end in embarrassment!

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Very easy - two seconds to put one on when needed. The glue goes right to the edges of the liner so they stay in place really well and never need to be readjusted.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

Definitely. I'll be keeping a stash of them even when this pregnancy is over.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

I will definitely be getting these again and the own brand Pantyliners I have will be getting binned!

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

I'm thinking about getting a new maternity swimsuit. Some lovely styles on figleaves!
