This thread is for the 150 Mumsnetters who have been trying Always Dailies Flexible Liners.

Non testers: Add your thoughts on the small things that make a positive difference to your day for a chance to win £100.

Always say "All women, whether they're pregnant or not, have some vaginal discharge – but during pregnancy and at other times of the month or at certain times in our lives, the amount of discharge often increases. This is perfectly normal and healthy and shows that your body is working correctly.

Always Dailies Pantyliners help to cope with the additional discharge – by locking away the moisture all day. These ultra-thin, breathable pantyliners absorb any moisture, and can be replaced whenever you want a boost of freshness and added comfort."

Non-testers: Share on this thread what, on an average day, are the small things that help boost your confidence, such as the use of a pantyliner, which keeps you feeling fresh and dry throughout the day. Everyone who shares their thoughts will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers.

Testers: Thank you to all of you who are taking part. Below are a few questions for you to answer but please feel free to add any other comments you have too.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Every tester who adds their feedback to this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MN tester will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

They were fine. I couldn't feel them in my underwear really. They went in easily and kept their place very well, without the need for wings. The glue did not catch my pubes, as has happened with other ones. Good that they had no perfume. They lasted well through the day and did their job.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

I felt tons more confident. I have a dreadful cough - think I might have it for ever. When I cough little bits of wee come out. Wearing these I could cough with impunity. That was a great feeling. I also managed to catch the first drips of menses - after 30 years I still am not able to know when it is about to start and generally get in a mess. So this was doubly helpful and saved me from ruining more underwear.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Very simply - easy in, easy out. The one thing I was unclear about was disposal. i could find nothing on the packet. I put them in the bin at home, curled up, having to dig them right down so no-one would notice them. I wondered if they were flushable. I must admit at a friend's house, there was no bin in the loo and I did flush it. I have not heard that her drain are blocked or anything. In any case, would like some guidelines on the packet. I was also bewildered by the variety of sizes illustrated on the packet and would not be sure where to start.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

N/A

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

I will definitely use them again, especially if the price is competitive. I need them! I might need to work my way through more varieties than Heinz to find which is the best of all.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Will buy some fancy knickers.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

I really liked them. They are brilliant at staying in place, flexible, breathable, absorbent and just the right thickness for me. My only issue is with the 'beautiful design'. I found this a bit unnecessary and patronising and ironically, the design looks very much to me like embryos. Sorry if this offends anyone - it really bothered me though.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

I like to feel really clean so fresher and more comfortable, yes and after 5 DC, my nether regions aren't what they once were so yes, more confident too.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yes, a quick addition to my morning routine after a shower.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

I'm not currently pregnant. It's not the kind of thing I'd chat about though to be honest.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

I'll definitely use them again.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

I don't plan on using it.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Very thin and light weight. Can't feel it at all.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Felt a lot fresher, with all the extra discharge, these have been a life saver.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

They fitted into my daily schedule no problem. No different to using any other panty liner.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend these to any pregnant woman. They are comfortable and highly absorbant, even though they are paper thin.

I will keep using them for the rest of my pregnancy!!!

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

NON TESTER
The little things that make a difference to feeling more confident are using a good deodorant, I sometimes carry a small one around with me in the summer so that I can use during the day if necessary. I also carry chewing gum and smints so that I can freshen my breath after meals or before a meeting. I always have lipgloss and lip salve and a hand cream as my hands often look very dry. I always have a liner in my make up bag to use if I want to.

  1. Thinner than most liners. Not individually wrapped, so not easy to carry around as tend to pick up "bag fluff" and have to be chucked away.

  1. I felt more confident just prior to my period, however, didn't feel any fresher as always have clean knickers! Certainly not more comfortable than just knickers.

  1. Very easy and simple to use but I wouldn't bother with them every day.

  1. I am not pregnant and not in the habit of discussing lady things with my pregnant friends ??

  1. May use again around start and end of period although would use whatever brand was cheapest at the time. Nothing made these particularly stand out from other brands.

  1. Did not/will not use Figleaves voucher.

They felt fresh and comfortable and discreet with tight gym trousers.
Super easy to use , don't like to be without them.
I would definitely use them again as they didn't move when I was active , it's really annoying when liners don't stay put .
I didn't use my figleaves voucher .

Small things that boost my confidence are: always having painted nails that are neat and not chipped. Make up in place. Having a good hair day and then squirting my favourite perfume always helps. Lip balm helps me feel better that my lips don't look cracked and chipped. I always carry a liner with me in my handbag to use if needed, but the best feeling in the world is knowing that it is the last day of my period and I can use a small, discreet liner and be free of anything else!

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Very neat and I liked the fact that the whole backing is sticky, as opposed to just having a sticky strip, as they stay in place so well that I've managed to forget to remove a couple and they've gone through the washer! They don't wash well...

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

I use liners anyway as I like to feel confident and clean throughout the day.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yes very. Popped one on in the morning and mostly removed it at night.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

Not pregnant but would imagine they would be good for times when your bladder is under extra strain!

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Very :)

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Not used it yet but will probably buy nightwear.

  1. They were fine, but I might not use them again as they're thinner than my usual liners and my cycle can be pretty unpredictable

  1. A little less comfortable than usual as they are thinner.

  1. Very easy to integrate into my routine as I usually use liners.

  1. I'm not pregnant.

  1. Probably won't use them again as I'm happy with my current brand.

  1. I haven't used it yet but would like a new bra Smile

I was a tester and have to use liners on a daily basis.
1)I found the product soft to the touch and slim fitting ideal for daily use.Perfume free was an added bonus.
2)The liner stayed in place so no slipping and comfort was gaurenteed
3)Very easy to use and dispose off.
4)N/A but I do have a bladder problem controlled by botox injections and they will certainly help with minor leakage.
5) I have purchased the 1.95mm size as they suit my needs better and feel very secure with their performance.
6)I will use the voucher towards posh nic's for my DD's birthday.

Thanks for the opportunity of testing this product any improvement in ladies daily requirements are very well received by ladies with my condition it certainly takes away some of the worry of not feeling fresh all day long.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

- Ok, but not quite thick/absorbent enough

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

- No - not quite thick/absorbent enough, more confident that I would be without a liner, but less confident that with the one I was using before

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

- yes

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

- No - not quite thick/absorbent enough in comparison to others I have used, have used another always panty liner that was a little more substancial whilst still being comfortable/would not notice it was there.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

- unlikely as does not quite meet my needs at the moment, but would have been good as a liner before I was pregnant.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Oooh, not sure yet! maybe a new bra?

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Lightweight, thin and discreet

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, I felt fresher and more comfortable as I am suffering from discharge at the mo, so it was good to be able to have a quick liner change and back to feeling fresh again.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine? Very easy, whip the backing off and away you go. Not so easy to take to the loo discretely as a wrapped liner though.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not? I would recommend for reasons as in point no 2.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again? Yes, very likely as I thought the fitted well and the price was good.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher? I am waiting for pay day next week to buy a bra :)
