This thread is for the 150 Mumsnetters who have been trying Always Dailies Flexible Liners.

Non testers: Add your thoughts on the small things that make a positive difference to your day for a chance to win £100.

Always say "All women, whether they're pregnant or not, have some vaginal discharge – but during pregnancy and at other times of the month or at certain times in our lives, the amount of discharge often increases. This is perfectly normal and healthy and shows that your body is working correctly.

Always Dailies Pantyliners help to cope with the additional discharge – by locking away the moisture all day. These ultra-thin, breathable pantyliners absorb any moisture, and can be replaced whenever you want a boost of freshness and added comfort."

Non-testers: Share on this thread what, on an average day, are the small things that help boost your confidence, such as the use of a pantyliner, which keeps you feeling fresh and dry throughout the day. Everyone who shares their thoughts will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers.

Testers: Thank you to all of you who are taking part. Below are a few questions for you to answer but please feel free to add any other comments you have too.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Every tester who adds their feedback to this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MN tester will win a £200 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

As for the little things that boost my confidence during the day, having my hair nice and 'wearing' a smile

Non tester here. I hate going out without wearing perfume - don't feel 'dressed' without out whether I'm in scrufs, make up or not.

Non-tester here.

My day is most improved when I find I have a little extra time! Evenjust five minutes to have a cup of tea, brush my hair, make a phonecall amkes the rest of the day run smoothly.

Hi, I have been testing these for a couple of weeks. I am 38 weeks pregnant and have been getting quite a lot of vaginal discharge so have been wearing liners daily usually an own brand from TESCO or Boots.

1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

I really liked these liners, they were quite thin so you didn't notice you were wearing them. They stayed in place really well whereas the own brand liners quite often rolled/wrinkled up. They were unperfumed which I personally prefer

2. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were very comfy as they stayed in place well. I did feel a lot fresher than when wearing the own brand ones which I felt I had to change often. I also had no worries about any odours!!

3. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yes, just put one on in the morning after a shower and away you go!

4. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recomend these liners.

5. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Very likely, I have already used my voucher to buy another pack. They are more expensive than the own brand ones but I use less of they and they are better in my opinion.

6. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

I haven't used my voucher as yet.

  1. I would recommend them as they were absorbent but I would prefer them to be slightly bigger.

My small positive thing each day is to do my planks - for less than 5 minutes a day it makes a big difference to how I look and so how I feel about myself

Ask Always to stop putting fragrance into their products. They were grand the way they were before.
Highly fragranced products interfere with body's natural flora. They certainly won't help thrush sufferers

First imiressions of these were very small and discreet. They were very comfortable to wear and made me feel fresher and more comfortable and confident. They were very simple and easy to use. I have a 16 week old baby and would recommend these to friends pregnant or otherwise. I will def buy again. I haven't spent my voucher yet Smile

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners? I'd choose these in a shop as the box is attractive & feminine. Comfortable, nice & sticky all over so stayed in place despite my rushing about. I bought different always dailies which are individually wrapped & prefer those ones for popping in my handbag.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Increased confidence & felt fresh. No worries about any small leakages.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Really easy & handy to keep around. Absorption good.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

Would recommend but it's not something I'd particularly bring up in conversation.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Very likely. Bought a pack for my sister who is due twins any day!!

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Nothing yet but maybe some more 'suck me in/make me smoother/less spare tyre' underwear!!

If I can go for a brisk walk at lunchtime, it makes all the difference and the absence of a solid (ahem) pelvic floor means these sound like a good idea for the whole day.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Hardly noticed them on as they were thin and light.

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Confident and comfortable but not necessarily fresher - I prefer something a bit scented for that.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yes.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

Well, I saw my pregnant friend today and the thought never crossed my mind!!

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Quite likely.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

I don't know!

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Thin, good adhesive, nice shape, and didn't lose their shape over the course of the day. Glad they were perfume free. Downside was the pattern on it, seemed a bit pointless and made me wonder what chemicals were in the print that was next to my bits and bobbins!

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Not particularly as they don't absorb discharge any better than other products, but they were thin enough for me to forget I was wearing them.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Yes. But I use pantyliners every day.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would just because they do feel light and thin enough to forget you are wearing them. Also the adhesive made sure it stayed in place.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Likely to buy if on offer, and with the voucher.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

Didn't use it.

  1. What was your overall impression of Always Dailies Pantyliners?

Thin and discreet. I didn't think they would stay in place but they have been fine and don't ruck or crease up. I have to confess that I accidentally put one through with some washing and it came out intact, bar the sticky strip, so very strong!

  1. When using Always Dailies Pantyliners, did you feel any fresher or more comfortable and confident throughout the day? If so, why? If not, why not?

Certainly loads more confident, I am perimenopausal and at the minute don't know when I might have some spotting. These are small enough and thin enough so that I don't worry.

  1. Did you feel they were easy and simple to use as part of an everyday routine?

Very easy, not too much packaging which I liked.

  1. If you are pregnant, would you recommend them to a pregnant or new mum whose body is going through a similar experience? If so, why? If not, why not?

n/a but would recommend them to friends when discussing hot flushes etc.

  1. How likely or unlikely are you to use them again?

Yes I think I will, have realised that I had got stuck in a rut with my usual bulkier product with wings and lots of wrapping.

  1. What did you / will you buy with your Figleaves voucher?

This has reminded me that I must use my voucher, probably some new knickers.

Little things that make a difference to me each day... Whilst the thought of staying in my pyjamas all day sometimes makes me happy, the reality is, I usually just feel blah so, getting changed and spraying some deodorant makes me feel much better! If I am going out for a walk or round to the shops, I like to put on a bit of perfume, mascara and vaseline. These few items just make me feel more confident about going out into the world. For the times I don't feel as confident, I carry around my headphones and listen to music. I don't always buy panty liners but when I do use them, they make me feel so nice and fresh all day.
