We made Dinosaur choc chip muffins. Decorated an eaten by DS2 (aged nearly 3).

Thanks for giving us an opportunity to while away a rainy afternoon baking with chocolate.

My DS, DD and I had a lovely time making some chocolate flower biscuits and then decorated them with the Cadbury Chocolate Pebbles, to emphasise their flower design. We loved it - they stuck quite well with some writing icing. Pretty! Thanks for giving us the chance to try them out.

These are our Yorkshire themed pebbles cakes. The first is a sheep by a dry-stone wall, the second is a rock-pool in Filey and finally we have a jug of gravy!

I've had a nightmare with getting on to let you know what wemade and now my phone won't charge so I can't load my photo. Angry

Anyway!

We made a Chocolate Pebbles Fridge Cake using Milk Chocolate,Crushed Digestives,Cadbury Dairy Milk Pebbles, Butter and Golden Syrup. Melted everything apart from the biscuit and pebbles. Mixed it all together and put it in the fridge.

It is yummy and easy to make but doesn't look anywhere near as good as anyone else's so I'm slightly pleased I can't add a photo. Grin

They're not as good as some of the others here, but here is one of our star shaped fairy cakes - DS1, 3yo, helped make them, and decorated them himself.

I made a cake!!! this is our attempt at a dragon cake, had the willing help of a 2yo boy who I'm looking after today - but I can't blame him entirely for the cake "decoration"!! Ah well, at least we got to eat the left over pebbles as we surveyed the mess we had made in the kitchen :) definitely yummy choccie, and ideal for dragon/dinosaur scales, or flower petals - would definitely buy them again, but at over £2 for a bag, I would probably wait until they were on special offer in our local shop :)

Thanks so much for all the amazing images - the Cadbury team are very, very impressed by the incredible baking skills so far :)

Due to some isolated delivery issues, where a small number of MNers are yet (sob) to receive their Pebbles, we are extending the thread - so you'll have a couple more weeks to get your entries in!

I'm surprised there was any Cadbury Pebbles left for the fish!

Here's our super brilliant oh so yummy offering Wink

It's peanut butter and salted caramel ice cream featuring Cadbury's Pebbles. Me and my 5yo DD#2 made it together and we're both rationing it otherwise it'll be gone in a flash.

Thanks for letting us test the very lovely Pebbles!

My Pebbles finally arrived today so I'll upload a photo once we've done some baking. Some of the efforts on this thread are amazing! x

We made our cupcakes today! Well, actually the 7 year old ds made them... He really enjoys doing the 'weigh the eggs and then the other ingredients the same' method.

The pebbles were enjoyed ALOT so much so most of them were eaten before they made it onto the cake.

I have photos but can't see to upload pics on the app I'm using?? Don't imagine they will win any awards though (sorry ds!)

The DC's (3 & 5) wanted to make a friendly monster so here he is!! The eyes and nose are mini rolls!

They had great fun decorating them although we nearly ran out of pebbles as they were both trying 'one for the monster one for me!'

So glad this thread has been extended! Mine arrived later than I was expecting and we then went on hols for week, just back, won't have an opportunity to do it this week as working (and due to bad preg sickness I have no energy after work!)! I will be using them to decorate something next wend so will post then! They look yummy can't wait to get creative with them!

SmeeHee · 13/10/2013 21:01

My bag of pebbles arrived on time and relatively unbroken so I really don't have a good excuse to be so late posting to this thread. However I did suffer a couple of baking disasters Sad and didn't want to waste pebbles by decorating something inedible!

In the end I gave up on any attempt to be creative and we made brownies. I was rather amazed that the pebbles survived the cooking process intact (160 degrees Celsius for 20 mins - they are rather fudgey brownies!)

Despite enjoying the cooking process neither of my DSs was particularly impressed with the brownies as apparently they're "too chocolatey", but they were both happy to pick the pebbles out before rejecting the rest!

Ours arrived last week (after going on a lovely ride in the redirection royal mail) and my little boy was adamant that I was going to make a Mickey Mouse cake. So here it is!

Truthfully, our cakes aren't very imaginative and they aren't entirely just pebbles, as my daughter and boyfriend kept eating them , but she loves baking and decorating and I still wanted to show our little pictures. :) They were the best to use as toppings though! and the best to eat :P
