These are my DDs pebble cupcakes. She loves baking and made them herself ( I helped pipe the buttercream).

They are amazing!

Thanks MN and Cadbury Smile

We attempted to make brimham rocks out of our pebbles and some angle delight. I didn't think any art gallery are going to buy it, so we ate it instead!

Thank you for the Pebbles, they were delicious! 2 yr old DS and I had great fun making a gluten-free chocolate sponge (he loves weighing and mixing ingredients), then he ran around the kitchen singing a frog song and insisting that we put frogs on the cake so I made some frogs from fondant icing and decided to use the pebbles as stepping stones for the frogs to sit on. DS helped me use the yellow pebbles as a path and then insisted we add more animals, so I made some badgers, ladybirds, a bee and a cat. We named the cake 'Pebbles Wildlife Garden' and I added a bird nest box and some flowers for the ladybirds & bee. We were going to use the brown pebbles as tiles for the roof of the nest box but they were a bit too big so we crushed them up and stuck them to the roof with chocolate icing.
DS loved instructing me on what to do but doesn't like getting his hands sticky (I know... ) so it's a bit neater than if he did it himself :-)

The cake was eaten very quickly, with all the Pebbles picked off and eaten first, it was delicious & particularly appreciated by gluten-intolerant husband who doesn't get to eat many cakes...

Mine arrived and I opened the Jiffy bag left them on the side and went to bed. Then it all went horribly wrong. Because... my OH ate them all - really.... He absolutely did not realise that I had an intention to make cakes with them. So I will be buying me more of these flattened mini eggs - as he described them. As, actually, I wouldn't know what they were like!!

Haven't been able to upload an image, sorry, BUT we made 4 fantastic ice-cream sundaes for our tea - icecream, chocolate sauce, marshmallows - and beautifully topped off with Cadbury's pebbles! Thank you :-)

Sorry I have received mine but I've been ill so haven't got round to making anything yet.

I also have to buy more as DH found them hidden in the cupboard and scoffed them!

I only got my bag this week - after my son's birthday party which I'd intended to use the pebbles for so I'm having to think of a different way to use them.
What's the final date to submit photos please ?

Thanks

Here is our chocolate dinosaur cake (with a yummy white chocolate ganache filling)!

The pebbles made great scales...when they weren't being eaten by my toddler! I think it was a case of one for the dinosaur...one for him!

Does anyone know when we find out who the winner is?
I only ask because I haven't even had an email yet telling me to pop my picture on this thread.
And I'm curious to see who wins, there are some brilliant ones on here.

Really enjoyed doing this with dc, even taking into the biscuits turned out to be more like mini cakes. I don't think you will ever find me on the British Bake Off. Ds thought the Pebbles were yummy, however he is addicted to all chocolate.

How do you get your house to look so good? My gingerbread always rises too much to be able to stick it together neatly, it ends up looking like a gingerbread demolition site!

DD made some cookies with the pebbles. Only problem I absent mindedly passed her plain flour instead of SR - epic fail!!!
They have the texture of yorkshire puddings and look decidely anaemic! Oh well I'll have to buy some more pebbles.

We made a rock pool on a birthday cake for this weekend, had great fun using brown sugar for sand and sandcastles, butter cream for the water and Cadbury Pebbles as the rocks. I made the cake but left the decorating to my DDs.Just hoping this uploads! Thanks for letting us join in this activity!

Bogeyface - I used the Lakeland house mould and a bourbon biscuit recipe which doesn't rise really so comes out the size it goes in. The basic recipe is cream 4oz marg/butter with 4oz caster sugar, add an egg yolk and mix. Add in 8oz plain flour less 1 tbsp and 1 tbsp cocoa powder. Mix together and bring into a dough. I had to make double quantities for the house. I cooked it at 150C fan oven and for around 15 mins. When making biscuits it's about 12 minutes but needed longer as the pieces were larger and thicker. Then fixed it together with royal icing.

Hope that helps.
