Here's what we made, left dd's to it and this is what they came up with!

Pebbles went down very well, we all loved them, even dh who doesn't really do chocolate.

mine are a bit rubbish in comparison to some of the other wonderful creations. DS didn't want to know despite being off on a strike day (15) but DH helped. He is 48 but is a bit of a baby :) I had never made butterfly cakes before

The cakes were delicious and the sweets were lovely

thanks

Here is Mud Monster.
We decided to try some other Cadbury's products we hadn't had before, so he has Pretzel hands too. Mud monster likes to live in private in his mud pool, hence the keep out sign, but his mud cave is under a pretty hill with a footpath past it.
We used Cadbury cake bars for the walls of the mud pond, chocolate fingers for the fence post. Mud monster is covered in the pebbles, as is the path.
We used coconut coloured with green food colouring to make the grass..

This is DD1's "Pebble the hedgehog"

Started out life as a sandwich cake, via a short rabbit stage until its eventual incarnation as a hedgehog. Lost one eye in the DD2-saga only to be reclaimed in its rightful place by DD1. She had plans for a path but the pebbles ran out were eaten by DD2 great fun making and eating! Definately do again as DD1 has plans for many more woodland animals.

DCs are 5 and 4 and it was great to let them loose on this task and let their imagination run free.

Here we have some lovely Swamp Monster Pebble Pudding, which I think will become a regular fixture on the menu as it is considerably easier than pie Grin(plus DDs 1,2 and 3 and visiting friend enjoyed eating the leftover Pebbles!) Swampy is lurking under the muddy surface with only his Pebbly spikes showing. And his head. And tail. And, ok, his front legs. But apart from that, just his Pebbly spikes.

We'll, DD (5) and I were going to decorate fairy cakes with the pebbles but there were two problems. (1) they taste rather nice and cooks need a snack as they are working and; (2) DD thought she would decorate the cake batter and up ended the bag into the bowl and stirred them in before I could stop her.

So, we have rather flat looking fairy cakes studded with oozed pebbles. No. They don't look attractive. But, having tentatively sampled them, still slightly warm I can confirm they taste blooming lovely and the pebbles have turned sort of fudgy. A happy accident, which I would be happy to repeat!

These are our pebble hedgehogs.
I helped DS make the eyes and melt the butter and cocoa (chocolate fudge icing) but otherwise they are the work of DS (8yrs) and DD (10yrs).

Grandma and Grandpa kindly acted as guinea pigs and confirm they tasted great Smile

Thanks for the pebbles mnet and cadbury's

From us is... PEBBLES-IN-SPACE!

We had fun making this as a family; me, DH and 3 YO DD. We discovered that the pebbles come up really nicely when dusted with silver shimmer spray!

Pebble owl cupcakes and some flowery efforts. Aided and abetted by an almost 4 year old. He liked eating the pebble crumbs (ours were a bit broken).

We tried to recreate a treasure chest birthday cake that I did for my daughter one year, along with a treasure map. Was done in a bit of a rush, so not my best effort, but DD and I enjoyed making and eating it!

Hi we loved our tasty pebbles thanks and managed to eek the bag out to two tasty recipes. First we put marshmallows on lolly sticks, dipped them in chocolate then rolled them in crushed pebbles. Yumm!

I was excited to receive the pebbles, though a bit disappointed that there were only 3 colours in the pack! I'm not very creative, but as my 2.5yo DD had just discovered how much fun it is to help me cook and decorate we had fun doing this! My in-laws came to stay the day after so it was nice to have a decorated cake to have with coffee too.

The ones that didn't make it on to the cake were very yummy too! The spares didn't last very long.

This is our attempt at making "Pebbles and Roses Rocky Road".
We used the Pebbles and added broken up Cadburys Roses chocolates, biscuits and cherries to melted Dairy Milk and left to cool. Its really tasty and my 3 year old ds had such fun breaking up the chocolate and stirring the mixture, we have had a lovely afternoon.
Thanks Cadburys and Mumsnet Grin

Thanks for choosing us for the trial.

My 12 yr old dd and I had great fun making this mint-choc dragon cake. We made a 3 egg chocolate sponge and baked it in the top part of a giant cup-cake pan. We then covered it with mint butter icing and added the fondant icing head, tail and legs. Dd designed all the extra bits such as the wings and eyes on card. She finally added the Cadbury Pebbles as the spikes down the dragon's back and tail.
We are pretty pleased with the end result! Grin
