I haven't had time to be very creative as my dads very ill. However I made a cake and the pebbles are very yummy. They're like flatter mini eggs.

Sorry can't upload photo due to sad passing of camera
Dd loved the fairy cakes she decorated with them

For feedback I'd say they're very yummy & lots in the packet
Slightly horrified there was 175 kcal in just a quarter of the packet
I could eat the whole thing on my own in the cinema for example & that would be most of my days calorie allowance !!

After a blazing row much discussion, the kids decided on The Bottom of the Sea for their theme. Well actually DS was determined it would be Spongebob, but then forgot when it came to making the creatures!

The kitchen looks like nothing on earth, I am covered in food colouring (note to self, do not stain your hands blue the day before a funeral Hmm) and there's chocolate butter cream on the kitchen light, everyone is denying responsibility!

Much fun was had by all, although it did necessitate the buying of another bag of Pebbles after DD4 decided they were her new favourite thing, and well, we all needed a taste didnt we Wink

All in all a messy but fun experience!

Will post pictures of the state the kids were in when my phone has recharged!

My Pebbles arrived and I resisted the temptation to eat them all myself before the children got home, just. My 2 and 4 year old and their friends (7 and 5) had a great time making cakes after school and the best bit was the decorating which they've made a lovely job of.
We had to sample the Pebbles of course and everyone thought they were really tasty - "thought they looked like squashed, funny shaped Smarties and they taste super yummy".
I thought the distinctive Cadbury flavour was lovely as ever and the speed with which the leftover Pebbles and the cakes were hoovered up was testament to how much they were enjoyed!

hmmm, cake making and decorating with a 3 year old! Not very creative I'm afraid as my son lost interest after licking the bowl and running off with the rest of the packet!

The chocolate had that distinct Cadbury flavour and was melt in the mouth, but I'm not sure I would rely on them for cake decorating as quite a few of them were chipped or cracked which distracted from the look of them!

We chose simple sugar cookies to decorate with my 2 year old.

His favourite part was picking out the pebbles he just pressed into the dough and then saying 'mo' (more) so he could eat more pebbles.

I declare our first baking session a success; though he prefers 'raw' pebbles better than the ones baked into the cookies.

We love the Cadbury's Pebbles - thank you!. My two boys aged 12 & 9 made these crispie cakes all by themselves. Not very elaborate I know but they had a great time doing it and it was something they can do without my help. We cant wait to scoff them!.

Here is our attempt at an owl cake. The most difficult part was stopping 3 year old dd from eating the pebbles before they had made it to the cake!

This is our jammy bread and butter pudding with cadburys pebbles.
Not the most artistic creation but DD loved helping me and sprinkling the pebbles on top. Plus, they melted and tasted absolutely delicious mixed up with the pudding. Thankyou Cadburys and Mumsnet

Thank you soo much for including us in your trial. We have enjoyed it soo much.
We made a cake for our toddler group mums. The design is a pebbly path through fields of tulips! My DD's aged 2 & 4 helped me to decorate the cake and we only lost one to a hungry and inquisitive mouth!!Wink
The ladies of the group were very pleased and receptive of cake with their coffee or tea today and all enquired as to why I had bothered! Once I had told them about the trial for Mumsnet they were suddenly interested and looked at the pebbles in a different light! They were all impressed I think and may even try them out themselves. (Hopefully with more cake for us mums!Wink)
The only criticism with them is the cake that was left over (yes I was stingy in the slice size......wanted more for myself )The pebbles lost their colouration so turned whiter and if you are trying to mimic pebbles could there be a grey? I think a grey and brown path would have made it more interesting... Other than that we loved them and of course they tasted absolutely lurvely! Just the cadbury hit one needs in a day Grin

We made flowery banana cakes. Not artistic as such, but doable for kids (I hardly helped) and tasted great. Chocolate and banana is a good combo.

Here is our cake. It won't win a prettiest cake competition anytime but it certainly tastes nice. My DCs decided to make a sandcastle cake which then morphed into a castle with pebble people lining up on top to jump off. Confused

Note the lack of eggs in the ingredients we used. DS is allergic to them so we made an egg free sponge cake.

Whoops. DD has just told me off. Apparently I should draw your attention to the castle door at the front as she "worked very hard on that". That is me told. Wink

It is DH's birthday tomorrow so I made a beautiful Victoria sponge with Chantilly cream and homemade jam. Then let 2 year old DD ruin it with the pebbles! I set her a guideline with icing and told her where to put them but stopped being so anal eventually and let her get on with it! Unfortunately we ate quite a few while we were doing it so not quite enough to cover the cake! They taste lovely and will buy again for sure.
