F&F has asked us to find 100 MNers to test out their F&F schoolwear range with their DC and provide feedback.

Here's what F&F say about their range, "At F&F we're really proud of the value and quality of our products and have spent the last year really improving our schoolwear range. Our schoolwear offering, which is available online all year round, is designed to last. With features including Teflon® fabric protector across skirts, trousers and pinafores, we believe that we've made it easier to get those stains out. Also, we've included adjustable waistbands to ensure a more comfortable fit for your children that will also help the items last that little bit longer as they grow. Finally, we've helped reduce the ironing with our permanent pleats in skirts. We'd love to see what Mumsnetters think about our F&F schoolwear range and we want to know if you agree with the outstanding quality too!"

We're looking for UK Mumsnetters, who have at least one child of school age who wears school uniform, to put the range to the test before the new term starts. If you are selected, you will be sent £100 worth of Tesco online vouchers*. We'd like you to use some of this to buy items from the F&F back to school range and the rest is a gift for you from F&F to treat yourself to some new items for the school run!

Delivery charges aren't included in the e-coupons, however there is the option to 'Click and Collect' which delivers your order to your nearby Tesco, free of charge, by the next day if you place your order by 3pm. We are aware that the summer holidays are fast approaching so we're looking for Mumsnetters who are available to carry out this product test as soon as possible.

Once you have had a chance to purchase a few items and kit your DCs out in a new uniform we'll ask you to get your LOs to put it through its paces and for you to give it a couple of washes before adding your feedback to a thread on MN.

If you're interested in taking part, please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,

Michelle @ MNHQ

NB: You will receive x4 £25 vouchers, for each voucher you will need to spend the full value, or more.

Thank you Mn! Dd2 is really chuffed that she is finally getting trousers :-) Perfect timing to make a little girl happy. Also means Ds will stop displaying his ankles

Queen0fFeckingEverything · 09/07/2013 16:36

Ooooh I got some vouchers!

I have a question though - a lot of the school unifrom, and some of the other childrens clothing, is sized as Years 03-4, Years 04-05, and so on.

is that years as in age, or years as in school years? I rang the CS helpline and they didn't know!

dontmeanto · 09/07/2013 16:41

Age, Queen!

dontmeanto · 09/07/2013 16:48

I'm sorry, Steppemum. Sad

DoItTooJulia · 09/07/2013 16:56

Ah, steppemum, we could be losers together? Either that or they have a different, bigger, prize lined up for us off one of the other threads?

steppemum · 09/07/2013 16:57

OOH Julia, maybe I will win one of the prizes for the mn survey!

(goes to check what other surveys with prizes I can fill in)

SylviaDaisyPouncer · 09/07/2013 17:29

Thank you MN!

This has made my day.

School uniform and holiday clothes for the dc ordered ready for collection Thursday.

HorryIsUpduffed · 09/07/2013 17:31

No email here either.

I suspect my description of ky thorough product testing put them off Grin Wink

Slightly gutted though. Would have been enormously helpful.

HorryIsUpduffed · 09/07/2013 17:32

SylviaDaisyPouncer · 09/07/2013 17:52

IncogKNEEto · 09/07/2013 18:15

JambalayaCodfishPie · 09/07/2013 18:34

Im in! Just spent up, £100 exactly!

Felt bloody good putting those codes in and watching the total fall. Grin

Thank you SO much MN & Tesco - this has been a lifesaver for us - I start Uni in September, and DP is already a student so they have been really well spent - helped that Tesco had a sale on too!!

Thanks again, will post feedback as soon as I can!!!

notso · 09/07/2013 18:44

jenni and Luis glad my post helped I feared it only made sense in my own brain Grin

Thanks so much for this MNHQ and Tesco, we've been having a bit of a tough time here and this has brought a smile to all our faces Thanks

LuisSuarezTeeth · 09/07/2013 18:55

I'm confused as to why Steppemum and another poster think the vouchers go to someone who has never posted? Do you have to have made a certain number of posts or something? Or is it about people maybe joining just to get vouchers? How would they know if not a regular viewer/lurker/poster? Sorry, just starting to feel like I robbed someone Sad

I didn't get picked Sad.

notso · 09/07/2013 19:13

Luis someone said up thread that these giveaways get linked to on Money Saving Expert so I would imagine there are a lot of professional competition entrants and a fair few chancers who get a mn username just to enter.

EeTraceyluv · 09/07/2013 19:16

I just spent mine too. Exactly £100, including Ds's shoes which would have been hugely expensive and some uniform for dd too (plus a cheeky little thing for me Wink ) I know how you feel though Steppemum. I have been here in many guises since 2005 and this is the first 'big' thing I've been chosen for. It's just random :(

Lilyloo · 09/07/2013 19:21

Woohoo thanks mumsnet this will be a massive help kitting my 3 out with their ever expanding list of things they need.

vincenta · 09/07/2013 19:56

Thank you Mumsnet and Tesco! I was so surprised when I opened email from mumsnet ! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Couple of days before I was thinking that I need to buy new school trousers.More shorts! E get one but for boys one don't last long. Our polo shirts don't look so great also. I don't get any paintings but all his polo shirts get paint stains.some of the front and some on the back....Even bleach didn't take paint stains out....We desperately needed new socks too. That's why these vouchers are so handy and I am so grateful.Already spend half of amount for store delivery for tomorrow and spend 25 pence :) Happy days!
I wasn't sure about sizes as my ds is very slim and little bit shorter for his age.

ditavonteesed · 09/07/2013 20:01

well i was the first person to post on this thread, and I didnt get picked, rude. Grin

steppemum · 09/07/2013 20:37

Luis - someone up thread said that these competitions get linked to money saving sites, and people register just to join the competition.

I was pretty Shock at that. I am happy for other mn to get things - you win some you loose some, but the idea that people come on, pinch a prize and bog off is pretty irritating

youarewinning · 09/07/2013 20:45

No email - take it thanks but no thanks then Tesco? Grin

HorryIsUpduffed · 09/07/2013 20:54

What steppemum said. Also makes a total mockery of any results being reported as "75% of Mumsnetters said" because a MN account does not a MNer make.

Sad

Just spent mine, ordered 8 shirts, 2 summer dresses, 2 pinafore dresses, 2 skirts, a cardigan and 2 packs of tights for DD. Got a dress and a swimming costume for myself. Spent £100.25 in total. I am delighted, money will be a bit tight over the next few weeks so it has come at the perfect time. Thanks again MNHQ.
