My baby is 6mths old and I tried size 3 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I loved the nappies. The nappies have a great feel to them, no plastic feel like some other nappies, and the designs are cute. They are not bulky and were great at keeping baby dry through the night. Overall these are my favourite nappies so far and I will continue to use them and would definitely recommend to other parents.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I think the nappies are great at keeping baby dry but I did experience some leaking. I have not found a nappy yet that can withstand breastfed baby poo all the time. When they did leak it was out of the leg, which was surprising because they always seemed snug around the leg sometimes leaving some markings. Again, these were still better than other nappies I have tried.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Overall Pampers do seem to cost more than other nappies but the feel of the nappy and the long lasting dryness is worth paying a little more for.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend these to other parents.

MummyKnight · 09/05/2013 13:44

I used size 3 nappies on my 6 month old
Q1. I am really impressed with these nappies, they keep her dry and comfortable all night long. I will definitely be using again, in fact I've just brought a box of 124!! If I could make one improvement though it would be to add a wetness indicator like on the new baby nappies, this would benefit my daughters daddy and nanny who sometimes aren't sure if she's wet or not because they don't change her as often as I do.

Q2. They are much better than other nappies I've tried, nice and soft, keep her dry all night and contain almost all poo's (except for the most explosive ones but I doubt anything could contain them!)

Q3. I think they are good value for such good quality, even better when they are on special offer.

Q4. I would definitely recommend these to others, they are without a doubt the best nappies we have tried and we've tried a lot!!

Starsintheskyxx · 09/05/2013 13:44

DS is 7 months old and we used size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very good. They kept DS dry for the 13 hours he sleeps for at night. Very good quality.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

He has leaked through the night with another brand and stayed completely dry and leak free for the whole night with Pampers.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Pampers are more expensive than other brands especially supermarket own brands but I think you are paying for the quality so I am happy to pay the price highlighted above to know that he will stay dry and comfortable through the night.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would for sure. Its peace of mind and a peaceful nights sleep for everyone!

Florin · 09/05/2013 13:50

I tried the size 4 nappies on my very chunky 10 month old.
Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I thought they fitted well, kept my baby dry even though he sleeps for 13 hours a night he wasn't damp at all. Not bulky and pretty designs

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Good driest I have found and no leaks

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Yes because they last a long time so you use less of them. I am happy to pay a premium for nappies I can trust, I really hate risking leaks.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes because they are great nappies and good for my baby

NoRoomForMeInMyBed · 09/05/2013 13:50

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
They are good quality, well packed and not too bad for excess packaging. (not sure why the extra plastic wrap is needed in the multi packs) I would definitly use them again! They smell natural and feel soft and comfortable to touch.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection? For boys the boys have never leaked in pampers, but my girl leaks at the front when she sleeps on her tummy. I have trialled a bigger size and so far she has not leaked at all so thats good. She is still in the weight range for the smaller size.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why? They are good value if you think of the washing and aggro you would get with a lesser brand. With the boys they never leaked in pampers so it was peace of mind that I wouldnt have to get up and change bedding at night (we are cosleepers so it means changing the WHOLE bed...)

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes definitly for the peace of mind factor. Other brands feel different, Huggies feel like kitchen roll on the skin for example, Pampers are truly baby soft!

?I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion."

NoRoomForMeInMyBed · 09/05/2013 13:51

Sorry forgot to say my baby is a small 11 month old and we tried size 4 nappies.

abigailw · 09/05/2013 14:09

Q1 I would be happy to use Pampers baby dry again
Q2 Pampers baby dry are a far more superior nappy to other brands we have tried. Although Im not sure whether its the current nappy batch or a requirement to go to another size as our daughter has just started to leak through
Q3 Given that Pampers baby dry have been the best for nighttime dryness this outweighs the higher price. I would prefer the nappy price to be 10p each and alwasy look for others to get the best deal when buying in conjunction with baby events
Q4 I would recommend Pampers baby dry

Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you were trying in your response.

I tried size three on my four and a half month old.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall I'm very impressed. I would use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They feel good, softer and more flexible than some other brands. They keep him dry for a long time even overnight and only leak with a major explosion. I'd expect any nappy to leak under those circumstances. I've also used active fit on my older child which were much less reliable.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are good value because I use less of them and I don't worry about them leaking or causing nappy rash. One less thing to worry about.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes but I am a bit confused by the different new born options on offer. I'm not sure why there are the new baby ones as well as the baby dry ones in the same sizes??

iclaudius · 09/05/2013 15:16

I was just looking at them really intently and looking at the dots on the front - I think they look quite tacky ... A nice smooth white cotton looking front world be nicer on my opinion. There's enough going on above it with animals etc so I'd definitely leave it plain

horseylady · 09/05/2013 15:39

DS 6 months old, size 3 nappies tried

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very good, ds woke up with no leaks and his skin was dry to touch when the nappy was removed. He was also able to move around quite happily in them and there was no sign of any redness or soreness. There was no concern that if he would wake up wet in the night. I would definately use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I have had issues with other brands leaking and not lasting as long as pampers during the day. Other nappies do no seem quite so absorbant. I would use no other nappy overnight

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are slightly more expensive than other nappies, but knowing they work means I would continue to use them. Plus there are generally offers on the nappies as well, so I tend to buy in bulk.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would and do recommend these nappies to other people. His skin has never been damp using these nappies and they have never leaked while using them.

StateofConfusion · 09/05/2013 15:58

Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you were trying in your response. 20 weeks old size 3

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

very impressed they are even better than before ill be looking out for deals to buy these in future rather that simply dry and cheeky bums. They keep my daughter much drier and therefore more comfortable, she often fusses for a change quickly after doing a wee but doesn't at all in pampers baby dry.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

dryness is fantastic. she's never leaked but these do seem a far neater fit.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?Q

they aren't the cheapest option but the overall quality of the fit and dryness therefore her comfort makes them well worth paying that few pounds extra.

4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

highly recommend them as my daughters far happier in them i don't have to use as many she sleeps longer and the fits good.

Aldan · 09/05/2013 16:18

DS is 9 weeks and we used a size 3 nappy

  1. We had 2 accidents in them where they didn't contain the poo, maybe because he's only 9 weeks and is breast fed. But we haven't had any accidents with new baby nappies. Probably wont use them again for a while.
  1. As stated above they were the worst we have used for containing poo but just urine they were good.
  1. Comparable cost with others pampers so yes decent value.
  1. I wouldn't recommend them to mums with babies of DSs age.
CutieCandyPop · 09/05/2013 16:23

I tried size 4 and the nappies had a lovely fit and were nice and slim, no leaks at all in fact an all round great product, the design was also very cute.
My only criticism is they are a little bit on the expensive side.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would use them again, my son is a heavy wetter and we had no leaks at all, he stayed dry and comfortable at all times. The fit was great and they were lovely and slim which made it easier for him to move around.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
I can't fault them, my son was perfectly dry at all times an no leaks whatsoever.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I must admit as much as I love them they are a little bit expensive, especially as I have tried other nappies that are cheaper that have been just as good.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would based on performance but as I said... a little bit pricey in an economy where we are having to make every penny count.

supermum20 · 09/05/2013 16:55

i have tried size 4 nappies for my nine old month son
i was very impressed with them. my son goes to sleep at nine and doesnt wake till ten the next day and the nappy would be full when he wakes but never leaked. they were able to hold alot. i find them exspensive but always seem to be on offer in one of the stores at different times but are well worth paying the extra money for a dry baby.
i would recommend to anybody having a new baby definetly.

MrsAmberRose · 09/05/2013 16:57

Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you were trying in your response.

My baby is 4 months old and we tried size 3 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very good. Both me and DD very happy. I will definitely be buying again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I was really impressed. Changing my baby's nappy in the night wakes her up but with the baby dry nappies I found she stayed dry overnight which makes a huge difference to her sleeping patterns. Other nappies leak halfway through the night so can't be left.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Yes because you only need one nappy for an extended period so the pack lasts much longer than normal nappies.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I have already recommended!

rlouisa · 09/05/2013 16:58

1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

these nappies in my opinion are the best out there. they kept my son's skin dry even with a full nappy. i would most definitely use them again

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

these surpassed the current one i used. cos they left wetness on his skin and sometimes burst. he does drink alot of water

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?it is. not much difference

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? yes yes, it is super dry.

Sebsdebs1 · 09/05/2013 17:23

I tried the size 4 on my 7 month old daughter and was very impressed

Q1
Would definitely use again - great product!
Q2
Haven't had a leak so really good compared to other brands
However I do change my baby's nappy quite often.

Q3
Nappies in general are stupidly expensive however I do find these good value and definitely good for my sanity as a type of insurance against leakages.

Q4
Would definitely recommend as I have found them very effective.

2blessed · 09/05/2013 17:42

I tested the size 3 nappies on my 4 month old DS.

  1. I was impressed with these nappies. Leakage only tended to happen after serious poo-nami's. I would use them again for sure. They are lightweight but seem to be very absorbent and do not cause any irritation to my DS' skin.

  2. I've only used two other types of nappies in addition to baby dry and baby dry was not the brand that I had to abandon a box half way through a packet of 68 due to their ineffectiveness at keeping DS dry!

  3. They are good value. Yes, slightly more expensive than other brands but worth it in my opinion for the dryness. It means less stained clothing which works for me!

  4. I would recommend this product to other parents/carers.

Michfell · 09/05/2013 17:51

I tried the size 3 baby dry nappies for my 18 week old.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry Nappies? Would you use them again? If so Why? If not, why not?

My little girl has been going through the night for a while now and the only thing that will wake her is a wet uncomfortable nappy ! She slept the whole 11 hours last night and I must say they are very absorbent the best I have tried yet and we have tried loads of different brands.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

As I said on previous question we have tried a lot of different brands and none compare to the quality of this nappy the extra layer really makes a difference and very soft for baby's skin.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost - are they good value for money?

Even though they are slightly more expensive than what I pay at the moment I wouldn't hesitate in buying them as they as they are the best nappy I have tried but I'll keep an eye out for a bargain on them on the baby events in the supermarkets :-)

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why?

Yes I would highly recommend them, I know a few other mums in our baby group who are always complaining about certain nappies causing baby nappy rash or leakage of the nappy so I can now tell them about this product.

mummytoMalachi · 09/05/2013 18:08

I tried size 4 on my 21mth old son.

I love pampers, I have always used Pampers after trying other brands and having serious leaks due to a poor fit.

I used Acti-fit and now Pull ups during the day and the Baby Dry for nighttime. I believe they are the reason he rarely has nappy rash and have become a nappy snob! I believe any nappy which keeps my son happy and healthy is value for money.

I am happy to keep using them and often recommend them.

Thank you for the free samples

Tillyamy · 09/05/2013 18:17

I used size 4 nappies on my 7 month old boy.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I like pampers - i already use them as my son's nighttime nappy as i know he wont leak and he wont get nappy rash. I will carry on using them for nighttime but they are a little expensive to use for daytime nappies which are changed more frequently

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They kept my son's bum dry for 12 hours and i haven't had any leakages.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

The nappies are a little on the expensive side but i will continue to use them at nighttime when i need my son's bum to be protected against wetness and the leakage protection is excellent.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend them... if you can afford them! they are just a little bit too expensive for me to use as a daytime nappy.

fryingpantoface · 09/05/2013 19:12

I tried the size 4 nappies on my 20 month old.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Over all, they look pretty (nice images on them) and they worked well, but I didn't like the way they felt. However strange this sounds, they felt plasticy (sp?) to me. They also felt a little gritty to me.

I would use them again, but they wouldn't be my first choice because of the way they felt.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Fantastic! They were brilliant. My son drinks loads and we often have a hit-or-miss moment in the morning because of the long night time. This hasn't been the case with these nappies. It was brilliant!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I'd say they were about right to be honest. I think they are really good nappies and i'm happy to use them, but I wouldn't pay anything more for them.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I think I would, especially if they have a baby like mine! Constantly drinking :) I would tell them about how it feels. I was telling a friend about it feeling plasticy and she agreed, but it wouldn't be a consideration for her.

My lo is 6mnths and wears size 3

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Amazing! Ive used pampers baby dry since my daughter was 3wks (as thats when she started sleeping through the night) with previous other brands they wouldnt last. Ive never had a pampers baby dry leak. My daughter at the moment goes from 7pm till 9am and the nappy dosent leak she also sometimes wakes up has a poop and it still contains everything.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
As I stated above there is no comparison. I used a variety of brands when my daughter started sleeping through, most of which leaked and I had to change half way through the night. However ive never had this issue with pampers.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I always buy the jumbo multi packs when they are on offer at either tesco or asda. Normally 2 for £20. The two boxes last a few months and buy that time there usually another offer on. As for the full price it wouldnt bother me paying it as its for a product that works!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

My sister is law is due to have a baby and I raved about your pampers baby dry. This is her 3rd child and had previously used pampers although back when she used them they used to leak. I told her about ellie and never having a leak abd shes gona give them another go. I would defo recommend them to anyone.

Rachel2303 · 09/05/2013 19:29

I've been testing the size 3 on my 5 month old LB.
Quite impressed with them, had no major leaks overnight yet.
His skin still feels dry in the morning even when the nappy's been really full!
I've tried lots of other brands, own name nappies, pampers simply dry, asda little angels, also mania, these ones are effective but quite expensive in comparison.
Would recommend as a product that does what it's supposed to do,however I do feel they are overpriced.

flutterbynight · 09/05/2013 19:30

I've been trying the size 4 nappies on DS who is 6 months.

I liked the baby-dry nappies, they had an attractive design and didn't smell chemically like some others I have used. I would use them again as there were no leakages using them for 12 hours overnight which is impressive, though we did have a couple of poo leaks when using them in the day.

The nappies compared favourably with others I have used for leakage protection overnight but less well for keeping poos within the bounds of the nappy. I also noticed that when using them overnight for 12 hours they were quite damp next to DS' skin, but that is still preferable to leaking out over babygro/sleeping bag and disturbing his sleep.

I think the baby-dry nappies are reasonable value for money but would probably try to buy them on offer, or in bulk and would perhaps stick to using them for nighttime and simply-dry for daytime as I haven't had the poo leakage issues with simply-dry (but this may just be a poo-heavy week and not a real reflection on the nappies!)

If it came up in conversation I would recommend Pampers baby-dry nappies to other parents as I think they offer a good level of protection against leakages at night and that isn't always easy to come by in a nappy. I also like the design and feel of the nappy - it seems softer than some others I have used and doesn't have a chemically smell.
