Tried nappies on Dd age 9 months, we tried size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Definitely would use again, reliable nappies with a good close fit.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I found the pampers much more reliably leakproof than others I've tried. Dd can be relied upon to test leakproofness to the limit!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do think they're good value for money, they keep dd dry for longer using fewer nappies. so I find them more economical than others.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend for all the above reasons. I find them the best all round nappies.

I tested size 4 nappies for my 8 month son.

The nappies were great during the day whether my son rolled about or rushed around in his walker. No leaks and he was happy to stay in them for a few hours. However at night they seemed to leak but I think this is due to the fact he rolls over and sleeps on his tummy, however this has happened with every nappy I have tried, but this didn't seem to bother him and he remained asleep throughout the night.
I would definitely use pampers baby dry again for night time because as I previously said they are the best I have so far found for night time use but am quite happy with cheaper brands during the day.

Pampers baby dry do cost a lot more than shop branded nappies which is another reason why I will only use them during the night, especially since I've discovered Lidl nappies are only £4.69 for 50 and are brilliant for daytime wear.

I have already discussed pampers baby dry with a group of mums i regularly meet with. I have told them what I have discovered as above and have found mixed reviews regarding all nappy brands.

I tested size 4 nappies on my 6 mth old

Q1
Very impressed by them, fab absorbency lovely fit and more appropriate for my LO age compared to new baby range. Definitely would use them again

Q2
I have used new baby range for majority of time but did try out Huggies when my LO was few weeks old and would say that baby dry definitely got more protection than both so have moved til baby dry range from now

Q3
I typically buy when they are on offer but do feel that they are good value for money given the quality and protection that you receive

Q4
Definitely would recommend baby dry as it has reduced leakage drastically and looks secure and comfortable for my LO

16 weeks (16lbs1oz) Size 3

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I was impressed. Yes, as there was no chemical smell and they were thin but still absorbent.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They were a lot more effective.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are more expensive than own brand nappies but as they don't leak they represent good value for money.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes as they are thin but absorbent.

My son is 11 months old and tried the size 4 nappies.

Q1 They are a great nappy which has never leaked with this baby anyway. My eldest preferred Huggies, which leaked with my youngest. It is baby specific I guess. I would definitely use them again, they do the job and keep my baby dry, particularly at night. I haven't bought specific active nappies for him, but these seem to do the trick for active babies as well.

Q2 The leakage protection was great - he had quite a few loose stools due to teething while trying these nappies and never once was there any leakage.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Yes, any nappy that prevents leaks and keeps my baby's skin dry is definitely value for money!

Q4 Yes, I would recommend it for the reasons stated above. He's never had a problem waking up due to wet or leaking nappies, and he's been sleeping 12 hours since he was 3 months old. Smile

Hrm.

My child is 27 months, we tried size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

We would not get them again, and here's why: The chemical burn my poor kid got on his genitals was horrifying. Sad

I'm a huge fan of Pampers, using their ActiveFits for night-time, so when Pampers came out with BabyDry, I was so excited! I ripped open the package as soon as it arrived yesterday afternoon, and....oh my God, the stench of chemicals was awful. I had to put the nappies outside in a hamper so my living room didn't stink. After they breathed for about an hour, I decided to test one on my son prior to his night-time nappy, and I'm so glad I did! Within an hour, he peed, and immediately grabbed his crotch in pain. By the time I got the nappy off him, his whole pubic area was bright red and inflamed. I'm not sure what extra chemicals they packed in this nappy to make it so slim and absorbant, but my son reacted violently to it. Angry

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They didn't leak, but we sure didn't give them another chance!

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They seem fine, cost wise.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No. The super-chemical smell plus burn means we could not in good faith recommend them. I would instead point people to Pampers ActiveFit.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
at first I was very pleased with the nappies, I usually buy Pampers Active Fit which are a lot more expensive so the Baby Dry seemed to compare well.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
the level of dryness seemed fine not brilliant but perfectly acceptable. There were no leakage issues and they were strongly tested.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
the price is fine and if you get them on offer they compare well to supermarket own brand prices.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
whilst I was very pleased with the nappies at first, after using them for 3 days I noticed that my baby had really sore red genitals, it looked like a burn! I have never seen anything like this and my baby has never had so much as a nappy rash when we were using the Active Fit. The redness was very sore looking and after switching back to Actve Fit the rawness disappeared. I can only conclude that the red sore areas were caused by the nappies and for that reason I would never recommend them to another parent. Whatever chemical is in them it's not good for babies. Sad

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Very good. I like them more than any other nappy on the market. I've tried a few with my daughter because of problems with leaking that I didn't have with my son! I would definitely use them again as they do not seem to leak up the side and they definitely last all night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Much better. Less leakage and reasonably dry.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are very similar in price to other nappies and they are usually on offer in the supermarket so I think they are priced acceptably although more expensive than a lot of own brand nappies which would put a lot of people off. Especially when little babies poo every nappy and you need to change them a lot. Better value once the poos become less frequent!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes because I have found them the best for not leaking.

I used size 4 nappies on my 6 mth old.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Slim fit, seemed comfortable at first however when I took it off in the morning my son was very sore at the front where the elastic had rubbed. I much prefer active fit.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They kept him dry, however so do active fit.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are cheaper , but personally I would not choose them over a more expensive, comfortable reliable nappy.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would not as they made my son sore and I feel that I would need a different type of nappy during the day.

Size 4 tested on 15 month old DD2

Q1
Overall impression was they were nice and small, not bulky. Nice sticky tabs and worked well. Would use them again.

Q2
No leaks at all, even when DH put the nappy on and he can be a bit random even after 5 years! Held the overnight wee bulk in very well. Usually even though the nappies haven't exactly leaked, there is a vague feeling of pyjama dampness in the mornings but so far not with these.

Q3
Yes, good value, using fewer of them also.

Q4
Yes I would based on this. I had abandoned them with DD1 as they seemed to have changed for the worse but I'm impressed with these so far.

Tested on 17 month old,size 4.

Q1:- Nappies looked very slim compared to others and soft to touch.

Q2:- Always use pampers for night times as the only brand which doesn't leak over night for us.Baby doesn't have a wet bum when changing as some nappies aren't as absorbent.

Q3:- They are expensive, compared to other brands, but I'm prepared to pay more for a quality nappies.

Q4:- I would definitely reccomend pampers to others.

Size 3, five month old

Q1

I liked the nappies, I thought the might be too big but the fitted well, a little loose around the legs but it didn't cause any problems. They don't seem to 'bulge' as much as other nappies when they have been on all night. I would use them again, if on offer.

Q2

I've not had any leakage problems, as said above they don't bulge so much.

Q3

Even with the £1 off coupon they are still 3p more than the tesco equivalent so unfortunately I won't be using them again.

Q4

If someone was having problems with other nappies yes I would.

DD is very nearly 3 and still in a Size 4 nappy.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Have always used pampers and have noticed that they have changed recently. They did seem quite slimline so was worried how absorbent they would be. Pattern was quite cute and they had a nice snug fit (she's not huge anyway). No leakages, even overnight. Would definitely use again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Much better. Have used Naturecare and Huggies before when on offer / have run out on holiday. Always go back to pampers.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They do seem more expensive than own brand nappies but then they work more effectively IME!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, they contain leakages well. Would recommend, especially if they were on offer at the time.

My son is 18 months old and I've been trying the size 4 with him.

  1. I like them very much, they are very soft and thin so seem really comfy, but are also really absorbant. I love the design on them too. I'd definitely be happy to use them again.

  2. They've performed brilliantly and kept my son really dry with no leaks, although other nappies I've used - Huggies Super Dry and Aldi Mamia ones - generally perform really well too. I think the Pampers are thinner than either of these though.

  3. I do think they're quite pricey - I would only buy them on offer. We've recently had a new Aldi open near us and their nappies are fantastic and far cheaper than these, so I would buy them in preference, based purely on value for money.

  4. Yes I would as they perform really well, but I do think they're quite expensive at full price.

I tried Pamper Baby Dry size 3 on my 15 weeks old son.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

The nappies were great product, very slim and soft, which moved well with the baby.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Pampers Baby Dry keeps my son drier longer, no leaks.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are more expensive then other nappies, but they have excellent quality. Usually i can find great offer price for Pamper Baby Dry in Boots or Tesco.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would recommend Pamper Baby Dry nappies to other Mums. Really great product, high quality.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I liked the design and the fact that they are so slim (recently got a free pack of Sainsbury's "baby dry" and these reminded me of the style of sanitary protection in Judy Blume books- thick uncomfortable pads! DS hated them) first off. Have been using Pampers New Baby prior to this, and thought they were fantastic and was slightly apprehensive about moving on to the non new baby ones. These were excellent. No wetness, clamminess, redness and ds happily snoozes away in them for a 12 hour stretch.

Despite being able to tell that he's piddled a lot by the morning (i.e. the front of the nappy is like a big sponge) this doesn't get through to his clothes or him so I think these are brilliant. Would definitely use them again. Also easy to put on with just the right stickiness!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

By far the best. Have previously been given some huggies, Aldi, Tesco & Sainsburys when I've run out at baby groups (forward planning is an area I need to work on, obviously) and found them utterly rubbish with leaking through onto clothes, dampness and shart escape.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do, for the reasons above, but I would only buy them in bulk and during a baby event as otherwise they are very expensive.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Absolutely. For the reasons above. Funnily enough, my mum still extols the virtues of Pampers from when I was in nappies so they've always been good it seems!

Q2. Have used pampers new baby and the do leave babies skin dryer. Not had a poop in them yet so not sure if they'll leak.

I tried size 4 for my 9 month old son which were quite snug as he is a big boy!

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Nice and soft, with lovely designs. They definitely are the most absorbent nappy I've found - they kept him dry all night and in the day and as I buy Pampers anyway I thoroughly recommend them! Very reliable. Funny smell like others have said but you can live with that.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

The most absorbent I've found, definitely. Have used supermarket own brands and they have leaked :(

Yes, good value versus supermarket own brands definitely. You get good deals on Pampers in Asda.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Tested Size 4 Nappies.
Very impressed with them being leak free and flexible, cuts down on the washing as not as many wet clothing, would definitely use again.
Although they are fairly expensive, they do not have to be changed as often as the cheaper ones, so work out good value for money.
Have already recommended them to friends.
