I usually buy Pampers Active fit but after trying Pampers Baby Dry I will definitely be buying these again in the future.
Although not quite lasting the full 12 hours as it boasts, they were very good and we suffered no leakages, you also get more nappies per pack for a cheaper price than other leading brands.
Overall I would give these nappies 8/10.

somethingwittynot · 10/06/2013 15:17

I tired.size 4 on my 14 month old ds

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I love all types of pampers find they are one of the only brands that can deal with the amount my son wees. Yes I would definatly use these again but only when on offer.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
As stated above my son wees alot and they kept him fry even overnight. Only one other brand can do that.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Personally I find them to expensive and will only buy on offer. Another brand does exactly the same and is 2 for £10

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

yes I would definatly reccomend.

Mehrida · 10/06/2013 15:17

Q1 They don't look much different to most other nappies, but I have started buying them because they haven't leaked at all, even though DS is in them overnight for up to 13 hours sometimes.

Q2 Best nappies we've had for this.

Q3 Yes, because the value of no leaks is huge.

Q4 Yes, I already have actually, to a friend who was doing a 'dream' change at 11pm so the baby wasn't in the same nappy overnight because it leaked.

zoechristina · 10/06/2013 15:24

I asked for size 4 nappies but when they arrived realised they were still too big for my lg who doesn't like to grow much so bought a pack of size 3's to give you relative feedback! (I hope that's okay - the size 4's just drowned her)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
They are fantastic! She goes to sleep about 7-7.30 and they have not leaked by the time she wakes up 12 sometimes 13 hours later. They work really well for us. Will be using them until she's out of nappies that's for sure!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
I've only ever used pampers but they are much better than new baby and active fit for her.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I've heard lots of bad reviews on the cheaper brands and the fact we've never had any real problems or had to throw any away because they didn't do the job means they're worth the extra bit of money to me. I imagine if we used cheaper brands she'd have to be changed more so it would probably work out like for like.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely! I 100% recommend them to anyone with a baby!

Thanks,
Zoe

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They are v nice nappies, in that they are undoubtably the softest and prettiest nappy I have used. And they do what they are supposed to, keep my dd dry except for the odd leak, but she was having a bad week of illness so I challenge any nappy to withstand that! I would use them again, but only if they were the only option in an emergency or if they were on a super discounted offer. They are just too expensive, and I can get other nappies that are almost as nice for a lot less, without any dropping in standards.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Absolutely the same as my current nappy of choice - Lidls own which I used with dd1 and currently with dd2

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think a lot of supermarkets etc have upped their game considerably and now own brand nappies are virtually as good as brand names. Is that perhaps why Huggies has bowed out of the UK market?? And own brands are a lot cheaper. I'm paying for what they do, not how pretty they are.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend them as they are really nice nappies. But in the same breath I would also recommend Lidl and mention how much cheaper they are. Sorry!

Thanks for the opportunity to test, it's always appreciated.

Katiesmjp · 10/06/2013 15:28

Used size 3 on my baby now 13 weeks.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I like pampers baby dry, I like that the are beads not lots of padding that they go squishey when wet and you can tell when they need changing.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Pampers are always dryer and generally don't leak unless you get an explosive poo which would escape in any nappy.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are worth paying a little extra for as you may need to use less as they are better quality than a cheaper nappy. I think often you can also find good deals on pampers nappies in the super markets.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I always suggest pampers baby dry to my friends as I do feel they are the best and can definitely say they keep baby dry for 12hours. as my baby sleeps through and she nerve wakes up with wet clothes but she has done in other nappies.

Pampers Baby Dry:
Carry Pack - £6.49
Economy Pack - £9.99
Jumbo Box - £12.99
Mega Box - £17.49
Giga Box - £22.99

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Brilliant. Much better than the original ones, esbecially for night time. Was nice to have a dry baby in the morning.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

No leaks with these. Before he was sometimes damp through by morning but to this day still havnt had a damp bottom.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think we all find nappies expensive, so yes. But when theres offers in the supermarket its a great buy.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, definetly.

plymouthianpixie · 10/06/2013 15:31

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? Yes I only use these nappies, they have never given either of my son's a rash like I have found with other brands and they have are really absorbent

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection? I used 2 other brands and pampers did not leak and lasted longer on

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - It's good value for money as they work and they are a good product but it does get very expensive buying nappies for 2 little ones at once.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? Yes it's the only nappies I use and it's always something i buy new mums

Sorry I forgot to post my daughters age. So reposting the whole thing for ease.

My lg is 13 months and 14lb (and a bit).

I asked for size 4 nappies but when they arrived realised they were still too big for my lg (who doesn't like to grow much!) so bought a pack of size 3's to give you relative feedback! (I hope that's okay - the size 4's just drowned her)...

I tried size 3 with my 4 month old. I was very impressed with them. They fit snugly and are less bulky than the own brand nappies I've tried. They also seem more flexible so I'd imagine they are more comfortable to wear. I'm pleased with their absorbency and this means less leaks. In terms of price, buying in bulk makes them comparable with own brand nappies. I would recommend these.

MammaLu · 10/06/2013 15:41

Every time, without fail, when my LO dirtied, it leaked. Sometimes there was a lot of movement, sometimes, only a little but either way, it always leaked. We took them on a long trip with us and the poor thing leaked twice before we copped onto what was happening. I will never use them again!

octanegirl · 10/06/2013 15:41

I tried size 3 on my 3 month old.
Q1 - overall impression good. Not bulky, easy to use, good fit. Would use again, still do!
Q2 - dryness is superb. Having used Boots own and Huggies I was impressed. They can't contain poo explosions but can anything?
Q3- yes good value, they are almost always on offer too.
Q4 - definitely recommend!

EmMc88 · 10/06/2013 15:44

I have been trying size 4 pampers on my 7 month old baby girl.
I was very impressed with them as they seemed to absorb well and only once had a leakage problem (I think it's because she had been bum shuffling across the room!) I would definitely use them again.
I have once used huggies but found them to be a really bad fit and uncomfortable. They also leaked really bad. The pampers were soft and a great fit, I have just found out they do + sizes which I think is great.
I think they are good value when they are on offer in the supermarkets. You can get a giga box for good value at asda during their baby events.
I would definitely recommend the pampers baby dry nappies and they always work the 12 hours over night when my little one sleeps.

brucefiona · 10/06/2013 15:46

Loved these nappies. We have been using the actifit but I actually liked these better. No more leaks at night and not such a smell of wee from the nappy in the morning. I love these nappies

brucefiona · 10/06/2013 15:47

Oh I forgot to say I was trying size 3 and they were very good value for money

izzerwizzer · 10/06/2013 15:48

I used size 4 nappies on my 6 month old daughter

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I thought they were brilliant and did everything i wanted. My daughter goes to sleep at around 7.30pm and then i give her a bottle at about 6am and change her before she has another hour or two's sleep. There are never any leaks. Saying that I have not had leaks with other brands but the baby dry seems to expand and feel a lot fuller than other nappies when I take it off. I will definitely buy them again to use at night only.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
I've only used these at night and they seem better than others i have used because they get heavier so that makes me think they absorb more. I've only experienced leakage with another brand during the day when she was moving around but I haven't used pampers baby dry during the day so can't comment. Although my mother in law recently bought some and uses them on her during the day and had not reported any leaks...

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are good value if you use them only at night. They are more expensive than the daytime nappies I use, which I am happy to change more often. I think I would still change her just as much in the day if I was using pampers because I only don't change her at night because i don't want to disturb her. (Hope that makes sense)

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely for night time. And for daytime too if they want to spend a little extra money.

Missmuffet28 · 10/06/2013 15:51

My ds is 7 weeks and 12lb had size 3

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were pretty to look at comoared to other brands with cute pictures on but I feel that value for money wise they just weren't what they claimed to be.
Good points were
From a visual perspective
They were thin (until wet)
Quite soft

Bad points were
Smell when wet (chemical kind of smell)
Leaked for me think although they were flexible they didn't flex back
Pricey compared to other brands

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They leaked on a few occasions but I will admit baby's bum felt dry mostly

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are not value for money I prefer other brands if they did exactly as claimed every time then maybe worth the extra cost but for me they did not they leaked and they smelt

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I wouldn't but I wouldn't not recommend either I think different nappies suit different babies and its a trial and error game to find the one that suits your baby best

Xangel21x · 10/06/2013 15:52

I would recommend these nappies they were really good I use them more than the others

mavisoc · 10/06/2013 16:01

9 Month Old Baby Boy - Tested Pampers Baby-Dry Size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

My overall impression of the Pampers Baby Dry is that they seemed of very good quality and felt very soft to the touch especially for my little man's skin as he has eczema. They were also very thin and seemed very comfortable - didn't look bulky or uncomfortable when on. He seemed very comfortable with this nappy on as it seemed very soft against his skin when he moved. Other nappies I would've tried with him in the past would feel more 'plastic' & harsher against his skin or something and just didn't look anywhere near as comfortable on.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

The Pampers Baby-Dry would've compared better in terms of leakage and dryness. My little man sleeps 9-11 hours at night so he'd certainly test the 12 hour dryness claim! I've had no leakages at night so far with them which I did have with some supermarket own-brands in the past. Also when wet I've had no tearing or disintegration which I had one morning with another brand - all the gel was coming out of them and he got an awful rash! My little man has been dry most mornings (a little damp others) and hasn't had any leaks at all whilst I've been using this product

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They're a good quality product - no doubt about it but they are so much more expensive than other brands. I always wait until they're on offer and buy in bulk as I can't justify their regular price. I'm lucky that they usually come up on offer every 8-12 weeks at my local supermarket. At the special offer price they're most definitely good value for money. But at their usual price they're out of my price league I'm afraid and I would have to say they don't represent good value for money. If I run out I always buy a pretty good quality alternative own brand nappy to keep me going until the next special offer comes about.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend them to someone else based on their quality & texture, especially for babies with any skin conditions but I would encourage them to wait until they're on special offer as they're very expensive.

I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.

Poppysnoss · 10/06/2013 16:05

I used these nappies for my 8 month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, am very impressed with the absorbancy and have found them to be much better than other brands available.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Better, we have had no leaks with these nappies.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I am happy to pay extra to keep my daughter dry and comfortable.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, for reasons already given.

robdan · 10/06/2013 16:19

i thought they had improved so much
i had size 4 which were a good size and i didnt have any leaks or problems
i used them when she was newborn and they were terrible but i think they have defently improved

ratbagcatbag · 10/06/2013 16:20

Q1. My overall impression of pampers baby dry is that they're very slim and cute, I find them fab for over night protection, and now don't change my dd overnight unless I need to because of poo nappy.
I have purchased some more since purely for night time.

Q2. I don't have problems with other nappies leaking either, but do like the dryness protection. After 12 hours the nappy is wet and heavy and on occasion my dd feels damp, but no major issues so far.

Q3. I think pampers are really really expensive and for daytime use I able been trialling own brand nappies from all the supermarkets, however for the evenings due to only needing one per night I am happy at the moment.

Q4. I would recommend them, but also say how expensive they are, but are worth it.

My dd is 11 weeks old and I used the size three nappies

MrsNovy · 10/06/2013 16:23

My son is 10 months old and we tested no. 4 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I was very impressed with these nappies. They kept my little boy dry during the night and we usually don't have any leakage (now and then nappy doesn't sit right as little guys loves moving about and it could leak. Only happened once or twice though). We've been using pampers active fit beforehand and they couldn't quite hack it. Still using them now and will continue to do so.

  1. Very good compared to other nappies. Even though they seem so thin at first they can absorb a lot.
  1. Price wise I think they r quite decent. Thankfully my son sleeps through the night so we only use one baby dry nappy a day (active fit during daytime) so 6.50 a month isn't too bad considering it keeps him dry all night.
  1. I'd definitely recommend pampers baby dry. They really do what they say. It keeps baby dry during the night. No leakages even when my son decides to poo shortly after he got up. They do hold a lot.
Katieat85 · 10/06/2013 16:24

I tested size three nappies on my 3 month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I was really pleased with the nappies. I would definitely use them again in the future. They were lovely and thin compared to some other brands. They fit really well and didn't leak.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
They didn't leak at all. I have used some cheaper nappies in the past which frequently leak at the legs.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I would say they are good value for money. I think paying a little bit extra for nappies that stop leakages and nappy rash is worth it. Plus it saves money in replacing ruined clothing.

Q4- I would definitely recommend them. I was very impressed by their performance.

Midgetm · 10/06/2013 16:26

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were ok. I can't get too excited about something my baby poops on but they seemed absorbent, quite thin and yeah they were ok.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I use Huggies or Pampers - I am a brand tart. I like them both. I buy whichever is cheaper. We don't seen to have many leaks either way but there were no wee leaks with these nappies so not bad. Only one poonami leak so not bad at all.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are ok in terms of value but would buy Huggies (Costco) or pampers which ever was cheapest so I don't think they represent better value than other brands.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

yes I would. But I try to have more interesting conversations than that. I have used them since the project test though.

I find it funny that you link them to sleep - most babies i know don't sleep for 12 hours so I would want my money back from pampers as my baby or the nappies are clearly broken if they don't. And golden sleep is a bit unsavoury. Thanking you.
