  1. Very pleased with them and would use them again
  2. Not had any leaks
  3. I think they are expensive. I used to buy them for my older son and they used to be £18 for 2 mega boxes. The number of nappies per box has reduced quite a bit in the last 2 years and now the mega boxes have a rep of £17.49?? ( just like the sensitive wipes which used to be available for £9 for a box of 12 packs with 64 wipes per pack, they have reduced to 56 per pack, which means in a current box of 12 which sells for average of £11 we are effectively losing a whole pack!)
  4. I would recommend them for their lack of leaks, but I would never buy them at those rrp's.

I have tried size 4 for my 7 month old Son. I'm very pleased with the result of testing! Since I received tester pack I buy them every time:)

Q1

Good quality, absorbent, no leakage whatsoever! Very impressed :)

Q2
I've tried Pampers Simply Dry which were horrible. Leaked every day or night, It was very hard to find a nappies which would go for all night sleep without leakage. Baby Dry- not a one leak ! brilliant:)

Q3
Well, if your baby sleeps all night and it is common for her to have dump clothes because of leakage , Baby Dry is your answer. But if not, there are plenty of cheaper and very good products on the market. It is not the cheapest option, comparing with other products (even other Pampers).

Q4
As I said above, if you have leakage problem, Baby Dry nappies are your solution. Very good fit around the waist and legs, and the most important, no leakage ! So yes, I would recommend them!

moomii28 · 29/05/2013 20:50

I used the size 4 on my 18 month old.

Q1: I was impressed with the nappies, I tend to buy supermarket brand ones due to the cost but was surprised at how much better the pampers fit my little girl compared to my usual brand.

Q2: As the pampers fit my little girl better, they kept her a lot drier than the ones I have bought before and because they fit better, i didn't have to change her as much as so therefore, they lasted longer during the day so i did not end up using as many.

Q3: the pampers are a little bit more expensive compared to the nappies i usually buy, but if they last longer and im not usuing as many, they it works out nearly the same price so im quite impressed by that.

Q4: I would definitely recommend pampers and I shall be using them in the future for my little girl and my other little one, who is due in a couple of months.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

My overall impression was very favourable - the nappies are very thin, neat and super absorbent, suitable for a completely dry night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I think they're unbeatable.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I know that there are less expensive nappies but for the peace of mind of a dry night, they're a quality product which I'm happy to pay for. There often seem to be offers on them too.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, absolutely.

Hyperhan · 30/05/2013 16:06

My overall impression of the pampers baby dry was that they were excellent at keeping my boy dry all night. Other nappies we have tried have leaked, and seemed a lot more bulgy in the morning these were good at not doing either.
I feel they are very good value for money, esoecially when that involves a good night sleep.
I always recommend pampers to other new mums

MrsMac221 · 31/05/2013 20:02

I tried size 3 nappies on my 4 month old son.

Q1 Overall was impressed with the design and fit of the nappy. I would be happy to use again.

Q2 Would definitely say was drier to the touch after a night sleep than cheaper brands I had previously tried. Have not had any leakages so definitely happy on that front.

Q3 Can be a bit on the expensive side however with supermarkets regularly having "baby events/weeks" etc they are often available at very competitive prices and I have already stock piled on the next sizes up.

Q4 Would definitely recommend especially for a good night sleep for baby (and parents!!)

Minnow1 · 31/05/2013 21:58

Tested size 4 nappies on my one year old son.

Q1
Not too bulky, good fit and would buy again. Only leakage was when baby slept for longer than 12 hours. No nappy rash during testing either.
Q2
Definitely the best nappy I've tried for dryness and leak protection.
Q3
Yes, good value as needed fewer nappy changes and a lot less washing.
Q4
Would recommend, especially for night time/ long journeys etc.

sandywily · 01/06/2013 20:39

Q1 I have used them before so would carry on.

Q2 No leaks here - my lo can sleep at least 10 hours in them only waking for feeds then straight down again.

Q3 They are more expensive than own brand nappies but because I only use 1 at night (reusables in day) I don't buy the big boxes and have never heard of a 'Gig' box!!

Q4 Yes I would recommend them but will be more expensive if using them all the time but having said that you may use less if they keep baby dry longer and they haven't done a poop.

sandywily · 01/06/2013 20:40

Baby is 4 month olds - size 3 (see previous post)

JaneyLou84 · 02/06/2013 19:32

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I found that they are a very globally and a very good fit, slimline and did not restrict my 2 year old sons movement.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
They kept my son very dry out of 30 only two leaked and they leaked from the top not legs and that was after 11+hours wear overnight and he is an active sleeper.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are good value for money as same price as other comparable nappies and need changing changing less less as have better absorbing.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?I would defiantly recommend as they have kept my son dry and they are a good fit and I personally think they are good value for money.

JaneyLou84 · 02/06/2013 19:34

See previous post son is 2 year old and tested size 4

Jass2012 · 03/06/2013 10:44

I used size 4 for my 6.5 monhs old baby

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They seemed to keep him dry and would use them again

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They kept him dry throughout the night

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Yes they are a goo value for money

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

yes, i found pampers the best nappies that kept the baby driest amongst the other brands that we tried

georgebear103 · 03/06/2013 19:44

Boy aged 2 - nappies size 4.

Q1 Very good impression - child was dry and comfortable each morning

Q2Better for a long night than others for avoiding leaks

Q3 Yes worth the money for a dry night! We only use 1 per night and cheaper nappies in the day.

Q4 Yes I would recommend

marmitericecakes · 03/06/2013 20:53

I used size 4 nappies on my 20 month old son.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I like Pampers and would definitely use them again as they're definitely the most effective nappy brand I've tried but they're also the most expensive and that may well put me off using them in the day time.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

They're the best nappies in terms of holding all DS's wee in but they cost double what I spend on other nappies so it's not worth using them in the day.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They're value for money and peace of mind for night time use but I don't think I'd rate them any higher than cheaper brands for daytime use as I change DS more regularly so we don't need to have such effective nappies.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would recommend and already have.

likelucklove · 04/06/2013 08:06

I used size 4 on my 14 month old.

Q1. I loved these nappies. I'm late posting my review because DD has been very ill with sickness, diarrhoea, etc, and the nappies held it all in. Sometimes we were on 8 nappies a day so they came in very handy! I would use them again and have just stocked up.

Q2. These are one of the best nappies I have tried for leakage protection and they lasted all nights with no leaks.

Q3. I do think they are good value for money. I tend to stock up one a month so I may not be able to afford them at a tight part of the month if we have run out of nappies, but they wold defiantly be my first choice.

Q4. I would recommend these nappies to my friends and have done so. Different family members look after DD while I work, and they have stocked up on these nappies too.

GingerLemonTea · 05/06/2013 10:38

I was picked by MNHQ to review this product, which I received for free. The review is in my own words & my own opinion.

I used size 4 nappies on my ten month old baby.

  1. Impressions of the Pampers Baby Dry nappies are good. They have kept her dry for 11 hours overnight. She has seemed comfortable throughout and her skin has been dry & healthy.
  1. They were excellent compared with other nappies. No leaks & kept my baby perfectly dry.
  1. I think they are good value for money considering they keep her dry all night.
  1. Yes I would recommend these nappies and would try them again with a younger baby when we had a few more leaky nappies. I think these would prevent any little accidents!
lottiegarbanzo · 05/06/2013 22:08

Size 4 tested by dd age 14 months.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Good and yes.

They kept dd dry, which is the important thing. They haven't caused her any discomfort or skin sensitivity either, which is an essential pre-requisite. She has some excema, frequent nappy rash and has reacted in the past to supermarket own brand nappies and wipes. As a result I'm cautious about which brands we buy and we're still using cotton wool to clean her.

We've used Huggies as our disposables, in the early days and at night, probably because they were the brand on special offer when we shopped in preparation for dd. (Their 'newborn' brand packaging is also very appealing, unlike Papmpers green bags). Now that they're disappearing though, Pampers seems the most reliable alternative.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

We use re-usables (Bumgenius) during the day and had tried these at night but they can't hold enough moisture in their standard construction - dd sometimes woke up soaking - and we haven't tried different or extra inserts e.g. bamboo for night time.

We bought Huggies for night time, which worked fine.

The Pampers are far better than the reusables, perhaps marginally more watertight than the Huggies. They don't wick all moisture away from the surface in contact with her skin but rarely leak.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I don't know how much the supermarket ones cost, as I wouldn't buy them anyway, due to dd's skin sensitivity. So, as something reliable and not outrageously expensive and that we only use one of per night (so per 24 hours), from my point of view, they are good value, even if they were comparatively expensive.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, just on the grounds that they can last the night without leaking.

lottiegarbanzo · 06/06/2013 10:47

p.s. she was wet this morning! (and had been a few times early on but not recently).

Dd is never in bed for 12 hours, usually 10 maximum 11.

She drinks up to 240ml of milk at bed time and has been having another bottle (how much is drunk varies a lot) at around 10.30pm (we're phasing this out) - so potentially there's been 480mls of fluid, plus anything from earlier, passing through her system over night.

So, I'm impressed that the nappies can usually deal with all of that but, they don't always succeed.

On another note, the phrase 'golden sleep' is weird and off-putting (and I had to answer the question about it on the survey with no, as that is just not how I would describe the sleep that dd has and the idea of my answer allowing it to be described as such makes me a bit queasy). Golden in this context suggests urine, so 'wee-filled sleep?' There's some relevance there but surely what we want is 'dry, cosy sleep'.

FMJ1000 · 06/06/2013 15:04

I think I meant tiddled!

Also, several weeks later, I'm a convert!

Bought next size up and no complaints. Fully recommend and worth extra pennies! Smile

HenriettaPye · 06/06/2013 15:33

First off- sorry about late review!!
I got sent size 3 for my 7 month old DD

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I was very impressed. They fitted snugly, her bum was dry when I took nappy off, wernt too bulky, seemed breathable and didn't leak!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
I thought they were great. I used to use pampers active fit for daytime and asda nappies for night however found these babydry to be better than both those.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are a bit more expensive than other brands, but you do get what you pay for as it may work out cheaper in the long run as you aren't changing as often.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would, as I was impressed with how dry my daughter was through the night.

Mumonabroom · 08/06/2013 03:51

I was sent size 4 nappies for my 10 month old, thank you!

1 my overall impression was good, ds stayed dry and woke less frequently

2 they compare well to other nappies, I've been using Asda own, which are excellent but would leak occasionally.

3 the cost is quite high comparatively, but I would buy these if on offer

4 I would recommend them to a friend.

Many thanks.

NotInYourNature · 09/06/2013 19:27

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
The are not too bulky but in comparison to the nappies i use (reusable) they leak more and gave him a sore bum.
No i probably would as they are expensive compared to other brands

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?as above he got a sore bum and i had a leakage at least once every 2 days

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?Not overly good value for money as Aldi do nappies that leak less for cheaper

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Probably not but that is just my opinion as a reusable nappy user

LilRedWG · 10/06/2013 13:38

DS, 2.4. Size 4 Nappies.

Q1 I will continue to use for night-time but didn't find them very good during the day.

Q2 Leaked more than Active Fit during the day but better than them at night - with not one leak so far,.

Q3 Slightly pricey, but as they are a strong market presence that's hardly suprising.

Q4 I would recommend them for toddler definitely.

mani83 · 10/06/2013 15:11

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I ordered size 4 for DS. I have always used pampers nappies and using these ones first impression was no different to previous pampers.
I would use them again without a doubt.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

When we would wake in the morning, the nappy was rather full and did have a funny smell to be honest. Not the best for absorbing.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think nappies in general are expensive, I can't really say if they are value for money as I would buy then anyway and they seem to be in my budget so they Arnt prices to the extreme.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would yes. I did try another brand once but I always went back to pampers as personally I find them the best.

sarahprice5 · 10/06/2013 15:12

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I was impressed with pampers baby dry as they are very soft and absorbent nappy. My little boy is a tummy sleeper and a very big drinker, and his nappies seem to leak by the morning. I still find him a little damp but better than some other types I have tried.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
Not 100% leak proof but my little boy is a big drinker. They do hold a tremendous amount of liquid and I find they have really helped. His bottom is dry when I take the nappy off.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Good value for money. I have used cheaper brands before and you really do get what you pay for.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definately, theyre a great night time nappy and now I wouldnt use anything else but Pampers
