My little man is 6 months and we've been trying the size 3 nappies.

Q1: I will use these nappies again. My DS has recently started sleeping through for 12 hrs (yeah!) and when he wakes in the morning, his skin is still dry even though the weight of the nappy tells me he has peed loads. Other store brand nappies have left his skin damp.

Q2: as above, even after 12 hours, his skin is still dry. Even when he has soiled the nappy, the moisture seems to be soaked away from his skin....although this makes cleaning him up a little more work, it does mean he is happier for longer.
I have had a few no2 leaks, mostly up his back, but on occasion around the legs too, but I have yet to find a nappy where this doesn't happen.

Q3: I think all nappies are pretty expensive, and these are no different.

Q4: I would recommend pampers baby dry to others.

I tested size 4 nappies on my 17 month old son

Q1) I was impressed with the nappies. They seemed to be of a better quality than the supermarket branded ones I normally use. They are very soft and have a fun, colourful design on them

Q2) They compared well with other nappies I normally use. They definately lasted a full night with no leakages and since using them my son has not suffered with any nappy rash (he normally suffers from this on a regular basis)

Q3) I do still feel they are more expensive than most nappies but I would definately stock up on them if they went on offer. I would probably use these nappies during the night, and use the cheaper supermaket brands during the day

Q4) Yes I would recommend these nappies as a quality product. I can not fault them as a product in themselves - it is just the price of them that would make me reach for a different cheaper brand

totatola · 17/05/2013 21:38

Dd is 7 months old and we tested the size 4 nappies.

Q1 Very happy with them. Fit well, no leaks, and not to bulky. Will definitely use them again.

Q2 Certainly better than any supermarket brands I've tried (on dd of course!)

Q3 Quite expensive compared to other brands but better quality. I tend to stock up whenever they're on offer.

Q4 definitely. They may be expensive but they're the most reliable nappies I've used. Buy cheap, buy twice as my mum always says!

I liked them, I thought they did the job well and yes I would use them again.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I think they are very good in terms of dryness + protection, near the top end.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think that you can get cheaper nappies that do as well.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

A1)I was very impressed, thin and not bulky at all.. left my child leak free and absorbency was brill, definitely carry on using them.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

A2) Their very dry, no leaks at anytime, good fit around the legs and waist area. Better than some brands we have used before, overall my baby seems comfortable which im happy about.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

A3) i would say they are good value for money for many reasons, no leakage, the fits is well designed, and my baby hasnt had any nappy rash and is happy and comfortable while using pampers baby-dry.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

A4) I'd definitely recommened pampers baby-dry because of the quailty and relablity. already have recommened in most of my baby groups. they all seem happy with their results also :-)

Just to add to my previous feedback:

I've finished my trial pack and brought some with the discount voucher that was included. We have just had our second bad leakage though. DD has been asleep for about 6 hours and her bodysuit and sleeping bag were both very damp requiring a full change. I do think this is because of te way she raises her legs at 90 degrees and slams them down.

Anyone have any tips on how to keep her dry?

PolkaDotCups · 18/05/2013 00:31

Just to add 8 months old, 18.5 lbs and size 4

I like these, they are absorbent and soft. However they do have a bit of a whiff about them which prompts me to smell dd's bottom more often than usual. I would buy them as I like pampers in general however they are just not competitively priced compared to own brand nappies. I don't have much cash and have to keep supermarket shops within budget. I usually go for Sainsburys own brand which are not quite as soft as these but are overall a great nappy. I'm afraid price wins out for me every time these days.

NinjaChipmunk · 18/05/2013 09:57

oh and we had size 4, generally very leak proof unless it was a poo explosion. yes I would recommend them but I would recommend own brand too.

NinjaChipmunk · 18/05/2013 09:58

oh and she's 10 months. sorry, kept forgetting things!

MissBlennerhassett · 18/05/2013 12:31

I tried size 4 on my 9 month old daughter.

These nappies are the only nappies I've tried that go at least 12 hours overnight without leaks. I have used before and would hate to be without them now. I never change my baby's nappy during the night now.

I've tried a couple of own brands in the past and they've leaked without fail.

I think they are reasonably priced considering I only use one a night.

I've already recommended Baby Dry to others and equally have had them recommended to me. GREAT nappies so far.

dimorrow · 18/05/2013 13:51

I tried these nappies on my 5 month old and used size 3.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I thought the nappies were very good, they were soft and did the job required. I would use them again as I had no leaks with them.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection

We had no leaks even after 12 hours. Some other brands leave my wee man wet after 8 hours.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

The larger size packs are better value. I would be more willing to buy them when they are on offer in the supermarket

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend them, they are soft, don't leak and no rash

Cuddlydragon · 18/05/2013 23:11

I wanted to pop back and update on an issue. My little boy has been unwell recently and had very liquid explosive poo. Baby dry leaked really badly when active fit didn't. It's a shame as otherwise they've been great.

bourneout · 19/05/2013 07:12

Hi - I tested these on DD2 - who is 19 months - size 4

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Generally pretty good. Didn't leak much (only one night out of 10) - although as there is less "material" than with other nappies on at least one occasion the nappy was wringing wet when I took it off.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Definitely better than some of the others I have tried.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I usually bulk buy the mega or giga box - which I think seems to work out as reasonable value. As with all nappies much more pricey if you buy in smaller sizes.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes definitely - for nighttime.

NameOfTheNick · 19/05/2013 09:24

My son is 12 months and we tried the size 4 nappies.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They had a nice design and fitted well. My son was stil dry after 12hours at night.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

We have tried asda nappies o the past and they leaked terribly.
Pampers have not leaked once. Even after a long nightime sleep.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

We tend to bulk buy pamperd when thyre on offef as they are little expensive at full price. But they are good nappies and do what theyre supposed to do.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would and habe recommended pampers to others. They are lightweight anf not bulky, they are decent value when on offer and keep my baby dry for more than 12hours without any leakage or nappy rash.

BadgerFace · 19/05/2013 09:56

I tested size 3 with my 4.5 month old daughter.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were very absorbent, we have not had any leaks and I would use them again. However, we were using Pampers New Baby size 3s and had not had any overnight leaks in those either so I am not sure what they add for my daughter. Maybe when she is bigger and weeing more at night I would notice a difference!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I was very impressed that when my daughter did a big poo into an overnight full nappy there was no leakage. Usually when this happens there is some leakage (which I have always thought was understandable and my fault for not changing her overnight nappy quickly enough).

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I am happy with the price, although I have not tried any of the cheaper supermarket brands to compare with. We previously used Huggies which I think were a similar price.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Absolutely. We have had no leaks and my daughter's skin is very soft. The only downside is that Pampers can smell a bit chemically but I am happy to put up with that for a dry happy baby!!

PourquoiPas · 19/05/2013 13:50

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I was impressed. I seem to remember from my older child that they used to have an unpleasant chemical-y smell but this seems to have gone. I would use them again as they seemed to be really absorbent and kept DD dry even when full.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

Excellent - no leaking and brilliant dryness.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

That are very pricy compared with other brands, especially supermarket brands. I would buy them when on offer, but not normally as I can't afford to spend 20-25p a nappy. When on offer I will definitely stock up as I think they are excellent, and will then be value for money.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definitely recommend as they were brilliant to use for DD with great dryness and leakproofness (sp?) but with the caveat that they are expensive

PourquoiPas · 19/05/2013 13:51

Whoops, forgot to say we tested size 3 with 10mo DD

Woofsaidtheladybird · 19/05/2013 14:15

I tested a size 4 with my 16 month old.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I was impressed as always with Pampers - have been using this brand for years. They did seem very slim - in fact, when my husband changed ds and brought him back downstairs I had to pat his bum to check there was a nappy on! Only downside to this is that when he had wee'd you could really tell with quite a big telltale 'nappy sog' between the legs (ie bulging nappy)

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?
I only had one leaky morning, but I put that down to an extra unexpected feed in the night.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I do think that they are good value for money, because you have to end up paying for better quality nappies.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Of course. It is a recognised brand, but it does the job too :)

supermothra · 19/05/2013 14:48

I tested size 3 nappies on my 6 month old boy.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I found the nappies were good enough but not exceptional. I will continue using my current brand (Aldi) but will use these as a back up when I can't get to an Aldi.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I found the dryness was good but we had a few more leaks than normal. We had some problems with the nappy fit due to lack of "stickiness" of the fasteners. I would say they are more slimline than my normal brand but they did bulge when wet. I also found they had a funny smell to them (though that may just be me!)

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I don't think the nappies are good value for money. My current brand are cheaper and I think perform better.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend though would point out they are not my first choice.

loulou2012 · 19/05/2013 15:41

I tried these in size 3 with my second child (14 weeks)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? i Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
i am happy and will continue to purchase these for both day and night time as my little one hates to feel wet and these make him feel dry for longer.

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection? good dryness and leakage protection

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
yes they are pretty good value especially as they are reliable (in terms of leak prevention) and last a little longer

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes as they kept my little one happier for longer

flapjack35 · 19/05/2013 17:05

I tried size 3 on my daughter Laura

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I love how slim they are, I did test the 12 hour anti-wetness and was very surprised to see that they did keep Laura dry and didn't feel bulky at all, however I don't normally leave a nappy on that long! I think they are great for long journey's or if you are out for the day. Overall, I'm one very impressed momma!

Q2 How did they compare with other nappies you've used in terms of dryness and leakage protection?

I normally use another brand of nappy, which this particular brand there has been a few oopsies & episodes of nappy rash, but after using Pampers Baby-Dry, I will be changing as the difference is unbelieveable and we do have a lot of days out where changing facilities are few & far between.

Q3 We've included some info on how much Pampers Baby-Dry nappies cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Although Pampers are the dearest nappy I have come across, since I have tested them I have shopped around & found that in some supermarkets you can get them on offer, saying that, if Pampers Baby-Dry do the job, then personally I think its worth spending that little bit extra.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would definately recommend Pampers to other parents.

Naylor71 · 19/05/2013 17:35

I have used the size 3 on my 9 month old baby weighing 18lbs.
Excellent nappies and will definitely be buying them again. Best nappies I have used in terms of dryness and no leaks, for the evening of 12 hour sleep, had no leaks at all in the week of testing these.
Good value for money and yes would definitely recommend them to friends
I was picked by mnhq to review this product which I received for free. This review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.

spicelette · 19/05/2013 18:09

size 4 used on my 11 month old

  1. I thought they were very good: thin, soft and didn't leak
  2. Much better than anything else I've used
  3. They cost a bit more than some but I think they are worth it.
  4. yes I would recommend, especially to anyone complaining of nappies leaking
