We have another exciting product test for you - we are looking for 40 Mumsnetters who don't already have a Wii at home but would like to take part in "My First Wii Challenge" with Nintendo.

Nintendo say they "are keen to offer Wiis to 40 MN families to encourage them to spend fun time together as a family as well as give them the opportunity to test out some great games". If you already have a Wii, please look out for the feedback thread for this project as Nintendo would like to hear your views too (in exchange for a prize draw Grin).

If you are selected for the test you'll be sent a Wii console, handsets and nunchucks for all the family plus the following games:

uDraw GameTablet with uDraw Studio
Mario Kart
Kirby's Epic Yarn, and
Just Dance Jnrs

We'd then like you to take part in 4 weekly challenges with the Wii. This will involve playing with one game per week and adding your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet.

The challenge will start week commencing 4 July and last for 4 weeks - so please only apply if you are able to add feedback every week in July.

Ideally we're looking for MNers in the UK with at least 2 children.

After the challenge is completed and you have added at least 4 lots of feedback you will be able to keep the console and games for your family to enjoy.

In addition, we will need 10 of the families selected to film themselves and their family playing with the Wii. These videos will be used on the Nintendo pages on Mumsnet in the autumn and possibly elsewhere (they will be hosted on YouTube). If you are willing to undertake the video element please indicate this on the form link below. You will be supplied with a FlipCam (which will need to be returned). You will be briefed on filming requirements but it shouldn't be too onerous.

To sign up please add your details here

Good luck and many thanks

Waiting patiently - so glad I haven't told ds that we're getting a Ningcongo whee (as he calls it!)could bear the incessant questioning as to its whereabouts -DH is bad enough!

HumperdinkFangboner · 04/07/2011 12:03

Same place tomorrow morning then guys?

Knew I shouldn't have bribed DS with the wii this morning! Blush Grin

satine · 04/07/2011 12:12

Poor Ann - have you developed a nervous twitch yet?!

IShallWearMidnight · 04/07/2011 12:19

they're not coming via UK Mail as that van has driven past without stopping Sad. How many other courier companies are there?

5inthebed · 04/07/2011 12:21

Someone has parked in the spot I can see from my living room window, so now I have to get up and have a look.

Doubtful it is today now. Bet they come when I am out tomorrow.

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 12:21

the holy grail of 'one o clock' is fast approaching....i'm going out then i think!!

SamsGoldilocks · 04/07/2011 12:58

nothing here yet.

Jaquelinehyde · 04/07/2011 13:13

Gah! My legs are begining to hurt from getting up and down off the sofa to check...I am seriously considering moving my living room round so I can check without getting up!

And now DH is begining to gripe at me about it, lord knows what the dc's will be like when they get in!

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 13:14

this is the actual challenge isnt it!? we wont be needing the wii fi thats for sure!

Lastyearsmodel · 04/07/2011 13:20

OK, OK, I'll join in. Nothing here yet.

The only reason I hadn't joined you until now was because I thought being on the thread would make the waiting worse. But having refreshed the page for updates from Ann three times in 5 minutes while the DC are parked in front of Show Me, Show Me, I realise I am powerless to resist.

DP is worse than me.

We may be able to cross TNT off our list - they were seen on our street at 7.45am. Or (sob), the Wiis may not be coming today.

IShallWearMidnight · 04/07/2011 13:22

we still have Parcelforce and Yodel though - anyone seen either of those not delivering round their way?

Neverlandpirate · 04/07/2011 13:25

Haven't seen any yodel here yet, but I think parcelforce came before the neighbours first trip out with the suitcase. Wink

Jaquelinehyde · 04/07/2011 13:31

Bloody replacement window van, I just spilt tomato soup down me in my rush to check!!!

IShallWearMidnight · 04/07/2011 14:01

how am I supposed to at least pretend to be working when there's constant refreshing of this thread to see if anyone at all has had a delivery, as well as making cups of tea in order to spy out the window and jumping up at vehicle sounds outside. Honestly!

LawrieMarlow · 04/07/2011 14:05

Just leapt up as there was a knock on the door.

It was the postman. With a parcel.

Of a book and shampoo.

DS will want to know if it is here after school (he and DD have been with their dad this weekend. There was only one text wondering if it had come yet Grin)

HumperdinkFangboner · 04/07/2011 14:29

I'm going on the school run. The house is empty, if it's going to arrive today now will be the time!

MrsSnaplegs · 04/07/2011 14:34

I am at work so first time to check today - have texted DH and he said no sign of it at our place Sad

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 15:03

ANN,is there any news?? any at all....

TheProvincialLady · 04/07/2011 15:06

I selflessly went out this morning so that the delivery men would come, for your sakes, and yet here we are at 3pm and still no Wii.

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 15:09

i think they've changed their minds....maybe dont want us anymore Sad

Neverlandpirate · 04/07/2011 15:16

I think you may be right..they have changed their minds and AnnMumsnet has run off as she can't face telling us.Hmm

satine · 04/07/2011 15:25

Gah this is really nerve-wracking!

AnnMumsnet · 04/07/2011 15:44

I have chased again....there are many folks in the chain this end...bear with (again!)
