We have another exciting product test for you - we are looking for 40 Mumsnetters who don't already have a Wii at home but would like to take part in "My First Wii Challenge" with Nintendo.

Nintendo say they "are keen to offer Wiis to 40 MN families to encourage them to spend fun time together as a family as well as give them the opportunity to test out some great games". If you already have a Wii, please look out for the feedback thread for this project as Nintendo would like to hear your views too (in exchange for a prize draw Grin).

If you are selected for the test you'll be sent a Wii console, handsets and nunchucks for all the family plus the following games:

uDraw GameTablet with uDraw Studio
Mario Kart
Kirby's Epic Yarn, and
Just Dance Jnrs

We'd then like you to take part in 4 weekly challenges with the Wii. This will involve playing with one game per week and adding your feedback to a thread on Mumsnet.

The challenge will start week commencing 4 July and last for 4 weeks - so please only apply if you are able to add feedback every week in July.

Ideally we're looking for MNers in the UK with at least 2 children.

After the challenge is completed and you have added at least 4 lots of feedback you will be able to keep the console and games for your family to enjoy.

In addition, we will need 10 of the families selected to film themselves and their family playing with the Wii. These videos will be used on the Nintendo pages on Mumsnet in the autumn and possibly elsewhere (they will be hosted on YouTube). If you are willing to undertake the video element please indicate this on the form link below. You will be supplied with a FlipCam (which will need to be returned). You will be briefed on filming requirements but it shouldn't be too onerous.

To sign up please add your details here

Good luck and many thanks

satine · 02/07/2011 12:25

Well, I had a shower, washed my hair and even did the hoovering, and still no delivery. Pants!

HumperdinkFangboner · 02/07/2011 12:30

Nothing here either. At least if it arrives on Monday the kids will be at school and it'll give me time to set it up - might need 6 hours to figure it out Confused

LawrieMarlow · 02/07/2011 13:33

Just got very excited to come into the house from hanging out washing to see a card being delivered through the door......

......ran out and the postman pointed out where he had left my (smaller but still interesting) parcel Grin

Am out on Monday. It will come then won't it?

Bohica · 02/07/2011 16:21

Nothing here, we have been out all day so we all ran inside to check the mat & nothing Sad

rusmum · 02/07/2011 21:21

5inthebed · 02/07/2011 21:50

Nothing here either, my bet is on Monday.

Bohica · 02/07/2011 22:06

Isn't the testing supposed to satrt on the 4th? We are all out if the house mid week so will only be able to do the challanges at the weekend, and we are recording them.

Oh well, I might have to have a sneaky practice mid week without the children Grin

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 00:01

fingers crossed for TODAY everyone!!!

ProfYaffle · 04/07/2011 07:43

It's got to be today, surely? I'm betting 1pm because that's when I'll be out of the house collecting dd2 from nursery.

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 07:52

Royal mail just been with an amazon package, nothing else tho!!

Neverlandpirate · 04/07/2011 09:27

My neighbours must think I am stalking them as I am constantly looking out of the window to check for any delivery vans.

So far this morning I have seen a Tesco delivery van, an asda delivery van, the milkman, my neighbour putting a very large case in his boot..(no sign of his wife yet.....), the local expensive flower shop delivery van, the postman on his bicycle, another post office small van and large van, our local courier in his white van...but nothing at all has been delivered here.

Im off now to watch the window again....Neighbours wife must have gone shopping?...

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 09:39

the postman knocking early this morning got a few dc moving anyway!!

he's murdered the wife you know, and by lunchtime the whole street will be cordoned off and NO delivery vans allowed down it!!Grin

rusmum · 04/07/2011 09:44

nothing here yet either- HURRY UP! then i can have e play before dd gets in from school. Am sooooo pleased dd2 has chicken pox so i dont have to go to work and can await delivery LOL (awful mother!)

IShallWearMidnight · 04/07/2011 09:57

I shall be making lots of cups of tea today (kitchen is at the front of the house) while on Courier Watch. DDs are cross though as today we go straight from school into tea, sports club, bath, bed, so they won't have a chance to play with the new toy till tomorrow evening. I have no put-off-able work to do today, on the other hand Grin.

5inthebed · 04/07/2011 10:01

Hoping it is today! Couriers usually come around 1ish here, so will be watching like a hawk around that time.

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 10:19

its supposed to start today,so it HAS to be today!!

maybe ANN can hep?? any ideas whats happening??

HumperdinkFangboner · 04/07/2011 10:28

Our couriers helpfully deliver during the afternoon school run, every bloody time! Angry

Fortunately my in-laws are down on holiday so someone should be in the house all day.

ShatnersBassoon · 04/07/2011 10:49

It's not going to be today is it? One of us would have had it delivered by now. Fingers crossed they're packaging them up today for delivery tomorrow. So glad I didn't tell the kids about it, they'd have been in knots by now if they'd been anticipating the delivery!

Neverlandpirate · 04/07/2011 11:15

Ok my neighbourhood watch is continuing...

Mrs x from up the street has just appeared in her pjs to wave good-bye to a man.. He looked 18 and she must be 50! Smile

Neighbour opposite has just returned with the suitcase.... And it does appear not be as heavy .....no sign of wife yet...Wink

Another tesco van, driver of this one was quite a dish! Wink

My mum has had a delivery from the local chemist... Poor fella virtually needed a wheelbarrow to cart in all of her tablets! Hmm

But still no wii for me Sad. Dd has gone to nursery now, poor thing had a horrendous tummy bug over the weekend. But is on the mend now. The only good thing about it was it took my mind off lack is delivery vans!!!!

Annmumsnet.. Any news?

AnnMumsnet · 04/07/2011 11:18

I am checking for you

Neverlandpirate · 04/07/2011 11:23

Thanks Ann,

Hope you had a nice weekend?Smile

GypsyMoth · 04/07/2011 11:24

dont think it will be today either Sad

IShallWearMidnight · 04/07/2011 11:37

I'm not ruling it out for today till after lunchtime, as generally that's when our couriers come. I'm on my fourth cup of tea so far though, as I can't stop jumping up every time I hear a car or van door open, or a van slow down outside (which happens a lot as they have to chicane through parked cars and take turns at this bit of the road). So I suppose i'm getting lots of exercise Grin.
