seems like a suggestion box for webchats might be the way to go

snorris · 12/10/2008 13:31

How do you know I'm not TR? I have 4 children, including twins and my dh is an excellent cook .

Carmenere · 13/10/2008 12:05

Is this still on? Or was Tana actually Cod?

whoops · 13/10/2008 12:07

sorry but have justpmsl at Snorris

Cappuccino · 13/10/2008 12:09

okay I have nothing against the woman but I will be doing yoga at 1pm and I wouldn't miss that for anybody

I would like to know

how to make children stop sitting in front of their delicious home-made meal and saying "I don't like it" before they have had any

I would like ideas for meals I can make for the children which I can then dolly up for nights when I want to eat with dh and he is working late

I want to know what to make for lunches at weekends - I mean snack lunches, not roasts, can do roasts - because I never have any idea what to have and we all end up having poached egg on toast

I would like to know if she actually gets any time to herself in the evening and if so, does she fill it with edifying pursuits or does she have a glass of wine and some bits of chocolate and watch CSI really

Cappuccino · 13/10/2008 12:10

oh and I don't like your dh, sorry.

nothing against you though. We all have crosses to bear.

Romy7 · 13/10/2008 12:14

ds won't eat bread.
i only make sandwiches.
what can i put in his packed lunch, or shall i give in and let him be jamie olivered at school?
(apols to cupsoftea for lunchbox type question) don't want to tread on toes...

fishie · 13/10/2008 12:30

whre is she then?

ohdearwhatamess · 13/10/2008 12:30

I'd like suggestions on what to do with ds1 (2.5) who will only eat bread - toast and jam, toast and pate, toast and peanut butter. That's it.
Will not touch potatoes, pasta, rice, let alone vegetables.

fishie · 13/10/2008 12:31

oh sorry, clock on computer is wrong.

TheArmadillo · 13/10/2008 12:48

Tana
your children are attending a party where the only food is over processed and full of additives (aka traditional party fare) would you
a) let them eat it - it's just a one off
b) try and steer them towards the less bad stuff
c) make em starve
d) take your own food aka doing a Jools Oliver.

secondly did you mind that Gordon wasn't present at any of your births or were you quite pleased to get him outta the way?

TheArmadillo · 13/10/2008 12:49

ooh and what do you do if you get a fussy eater to tea who refuses to eat your meals. Do you let em starve or serve up something else.

PuzzleRocks · 13/10/2008 12:50

Fishie - she's over on the other thread in a few minutes.

Cies · 13/10/2008 12:52

Hi Tana,

My cousin works at GR at Claridges and has met you and says you're very nice (I sound like such a suck )

I'd be interested to know what you would recommend wearing for lunch at GR Claridges. I'm going in a couple of weeks and don't want to be too smart or too casual.

Also, do you ever get annoyed with the swearing?
