Questions for David Cameron

mumsnet · 23/02/2006 08:19

We know what he thinks about education, the economy and Europe, but what about the really important stuff? Like how many nappies, exactly, has he changed in the last two weeks? And does young Arthur favour a three-in-one travel system, or a rugged off-roader? You can find out the answers to these and other pressing questions (and tell him what you think of all that tummy-patting) next Monday lunchtime when David Cameron visits Mumsnet to give his first interview since the birth of his third child. David will be online from 12.45pm. You can post advance questions for him here.

WideWebWitch · 27/02/2006 13:43

ha ha Caligula, quite, he's dodging quite a lot.

cod · 27/02/2006 13:43

i hav e given him a trick question too

ruty · 27/02/2006 13:45

he's waffling and dodging. Disappointing. Why can't there be a real credible opposition to TB?

Flossam · 27/02/2006 13:46
Sad

Have I been rejected by DC, MN or everyone???

Or is I just a bit tooo simpel?

Grin Wink

I never get my questions asked in any of these things. Even when they are some kind of K list celeb. Sad

Caligula · 27/02/2006 13:46

It's odd the way it looks like someone's posted but when you click, the last 3 names which show up on current conversations still aren't there.

Irritating. I'm getting fractious and bored. Someone entertain me!

lunavix · 27/02/2006 13:46

Hmm I asked him a question but in my active convos it says 'Live chat david cameron 113 messages last from twiglett) but if I click on it it's only up to 49 messages.. is this cos of posts awaiting authoirsation?

Caligula · 27/02/2006 13:46

Must be lunarvix

zippitippitoes · 27/02/2006 13:47

it's abit clunky isn't it like listening to somebody in outer space replying through a loud hailer..

WideWebWitch · 27/02/2006 13:47

Caligula, I'm a bit bored too. He needs to type faster imo.

WideWebWitch · 27/02/2006 13:47

Or I'll be forced to go back to my hoovering

cod · 27/02/2006 13:48

cant he dictate?

spidermama · 27/02/2006 13:48

Who's vetting the questions though? MN or Tory Central office?
I wonder how many people are helping him write the answers.
I want my question answered darnit!

cod · 27/02/2006 13:48

i want a hat trick

WideWebWitch · 27/02/2006 13:49

Is that why he's taking so long to answer, because he has to consult Central Office and a couple of speechwriters? D'ya reckon? :)

Frenchgirl · 27/02/2006 13:50

shall I ask him:

for or against french people?

Caligula · 27/02/2006 13:51

pmsl at your question spidermama!

Have you noticed he doesn't think women should be allowed home births on the NHS.

He says where they want it "where the resources are available". In other words, if we can't be arsed to provide the resources, no.

puddle · 27/02/2006 13:52

He's not really answering anything anyway. Everything seems to be included his policy review - have the tories junked everything in the last manifesto then?

MissChief · 27/02/2006 13:52

seems a suspiciously wide range of subjects- inc the "woman's hour" type boxers or y-fronts type..
He seems to be v on-message while displaying the odd voter-catching flash of humour..

Debbiethemum · 27/02/2006 13:53

He also wasn't very pro-breastfeeding was he. No support of the legislation to make it illegal to stop someone breastfeeding in a public place.

Nightynight · 27/02/2006 13:53

Looks as though his aides mugged up on parenting subjects...but he seems to be ignoring other questions.

In particular, the questions from people of DC's own age, who worked so hard to get to university and get "good" jobs, and now can't even afford a house.

Rach44 · 27/02/2006 13:55

I'm really confused. I keep writing questions, really powerful and socially relevant ones that would put Cod to shame, but they don't seem to turn up ANYWHERE! Will this one? Probably, seeing as it's not for Mr C but just a shout into the darkness.

ruty · 27/02/2006 13:56

exactly nightynight. And yes, all he said about breastfeeding was its important in the 'early weeks'. Hmmm.

willow2 · 27/02/2006 13:56

God he is a slow typer.

ruty · 27/02/2006 13:57

put cod to shame! Shock
