Hey folks!!!
Just saw that @JulesJules resurrected this thread over the Christmas time and thought I'd update!
(Sorry I didn't keep updating the thread, life got in the way and unfortunately had bereavements and other things to contend with)
So... I ended up keeping all the babies for 6 months! My goodness they were such a handful but what fun ☺️ Turned out at all 3 of the babies were girls!
At the 6 month mark I knew it was time to start looking for homes, I was running out of space and the work in keeping them all happy, healthy, clean and fed was really getting on top of me. So I reached out on a local notice board looking for a suitable home.
Got loads of absolute weirdos looking to take them as food for snakes 😱 Others with unsuitable housing... it took forever to find a lovely home, but we got there in the end.
My older girl really bonded with one of the babies, Biscuit (Not Toupee for anyone who followed the thread!) who still follows her around like a shadow, so we decided to keep them together and we rehomed Mom with her other two girls.
They now live in a lovely garden locally and are very much loved by the most fabulous couple! They have a gorgeous outdoor set up and an indoor set up for when the weather gets cold and are very very happy. They also joined another 2 female pigs so they have a little herd of 5 now 🥹❤️
Here's some pics of them all the day they left home, they grew up to be the most stunning little piggies, all with the most amazing red eyes! And there's a pic of their new outdoor set up as well.
I check in with their new family occasionally and all are doing so well, they love their new home and the freedom in their big enclosure 🥰
Re-read this whole thread just now and honestly shed a few tears... it was such a magical time and you were all so incredibly supportive, I can't thank you all enough ❤️❤️❤️
Hope everyone and their piggies are keeping great and had a lovely Christmas
Love to you all from Pickle, Pip and Biscuit xxx
