How do I remove sinister Santa outfit from a cactus?

My lovely sister got this little darling thing for my teenage son for Christmas. He loves it, as do I. However having gone way past 12th night we would now like to update his wardrobe/allow him to go 'au natural'.

Also he looks quite menacing and the other plants are a bit scared.

I've tried gently pulling the hat, no joy. I've tried tweezers on the grumpy eyes, I ended up with my other hand covered in prickles.

It is not glued on or secured by any other method I can see. Does anyone have any intimate knowledge on how to disrobe a festive novelty cactus?

I haven't bought or been given a dressed cactus as yet but do have a wee collection.
This one just gets called 'cock and balls ' for obvious reasons although for me all plants are female so I can't call her 'Clarkson ' or 'Johnson ' etc. 🤣

Best thread ever. I feel the need to go to the garden centre to buy cacti now. I do have a couple but I'm not convinced they haven't passed away. They are exactly the same size as when I bought them between lockdowns three years ago and have no extra appendages. They also have no clothing. They've frozen to death all nudey in the conservatory haven't they? Bugger
