Help me - I’m trapped in a Seasalt jumpsuit

It’s the Treen Cove one, I’ve lusted after it since Siobhan wore it on Pottery Showdown. It went on with no issues, looks lovely, fits well and is flattering but…..

I’m stuck in the bloody thing. It’s been an hour and I can’t even free an arm despite unbuttoning it down as far as it will go.

Has anyone got this jumpsuit? Can you give me any tips on how to get out of it? I reckon I have about 2 hours before I need the loo.

Perhaps I should have gone for a size bigger for wiggle room knowing what I know now. I’m just going to post myself down to Seasalt HQ and let them deal with it.

I've never even heard of Seasalt ..I'm in the US..but you lot have made me want to scrounge around for a Seasalt jumpsuit so I can join in on the fun of getting stuckGrin

@PussGirl

As teenagers a group of us used to go into town & try on the worst items of clothing we could find, just to have a laugh in the communal changing rooms in various shops.

It once took the other three several minutes to get me out of a bright green, tight satin number with ruffles & a peplum (it was the early 80s) in somewhere like Dorothy Perkins.

Totally hideous frock & I didn't have the money to waste on buying something I'd never wear Grin

Argh, communal changing rooms were my woo nightmare. I'd rather get stuck on my own. Anyone who remembers the changing room in Top Shop, Argyle st, Glasgow back in the 90s would agree. 😩

🤣worst, not woo.

Agree about changing rooms. I'd rather get stuck on my own but what do you do if it's difficult to get help?

Hi
I'm guessing you got out of it eventually. I had the same problem. With practise I can slide it slowly over one shoulder whilst bent forward. It would help if I could dislocate my shoulder. Practise when there is no pressure to remove. I'm considering having a zip put in the side seam. I've just ordered another one in regular rather than petite.
