How have you devastated your cat today?

I've put privacy film on the front room windows and he can't watch the world go by any more. He's sulking.

@DontWannaBeObamasElf yes the other cats around here are ok but mine was run over. Garden gates etc aren’t that expensive it’s the labour to fit them.

We have moved sofas to watch a film all together.

He is ignoring me but letting DS2 give him a skritch. I’m in big trouble.

I haven't given her all the food and haven't been a piece of comfortable furniture whenever and wherever she wishes.

Took mine to the cattery. They love it there. And they have a pen overlooking the duck house on the pond. They are also the I my guests in. And their favourite member of staff is in attendance to tend to their every whim. They will not be pleased to see me. They never are. Home does not have ducks chickens and horses to watch.
I have to practically drag mine out kicking and screaming when he's in the Cattery. As soon as he gets there he's straight out of his carrier and up into the the sleeping part of the Cat pen, makes himself at home and then settles down on the bed and looks at me as if to say you can bugger off now Mam cos I know I'm going to get spoilt rotten whilst I'm in here. He gets daily treats, and taken into the house in winter to lay by the fire place. Might sometimes be able to grab a kiss and a cuddle before I go but he's eager to get back into the Cat bed. I'm sure if he could speak it would be an eww Mam stop embarrassing me in front of all the other Cats, they're going to think I'm a right sissy 😹 picking him back up after a couple of weeks and as soon as he hears my voice he's at the door miaowing like crazy and I'm like oh he's so happy to see me. Then trying to get him into the carrier again. We've learnt over the years to dangle him in arse first and slam the door shut before he's had chance to realise. One year they had to remove the partition between two of the pens to get him out and we ended up coming home with a totally different carry case to what we went in with because he was adamant he wasn't going in his own. Good job it's only 15 mins up the road and I was able to return it a couple of days later

I was unable to switch channels on cat TV. It was Bluebirds on the Feeder. He wanted Squirrel Attack.

The other day I ordered a sample box of high quality expensive cat food, both cats loved it and polished their bowls. Little did I know, the stoopid hooman that I am, that it was ONLY the sample size box they liked, and the month's worth of supply of the said food that I ordered has been met with nothing but contempt, disdain and utter disbelief.

How dare I think they liked something just because they licked their bowls after eating!!

I haven't purchased a tin of expensive wet food and she knows it's a Saturday and she always expects expensive wet food on Saturdays 😫

Oh also, it's not summer yet and therefore still cold and this is my fault entirely

Ran out of cat food, fed them tuna instead. Cat 1 decided she no longer likes it, cat 2 was like wtf is this, cat 3 (a kitten) decided to sit on top of it. 🤨
Spoilt cats doesn't even come close!

When we got our last cat he arrived early so I had to nip out at lunchtime to grab some cat food before he arrived. The only place near my office was a very fancy pet shop and the cat food was like salmon chunks in aspic jelly - very expensive. He loved it. Not so the 18p a tin supermarket stuff I bought the next day. He went on hunger strike

Purplecat One wants to go out but I haven’t adjusted the Temperature in the garden yet, and it’s too cold. She is not happy.
Purplecat Three is on a diet (she is a Big. Girl.) - I am evil personified for giving her smaller portion sizes and stopping her stealing food from the others. She’s been on it for over a fortnight and lost 60 grams.. it’s going to be a long road..
