I've put privacy film on the front room windows and he can't watch the world go by any more. He's sulking.

Aww, @DenisetheMenace I’m glad they are doing so well. And all together at least there was no vet stink to worry about, everyone smells the same.

FelicityBeedle · 23/04/2021 20:31

I started putting the whiskas in the cupboard because he ripped and bit open a brand new bag

LaurieSchafferIsAllBitterNow · 23/04/2021 20:47

I am in the good books, well, I was briefly. The new chair that was quarantined in the spare room has been placed in the bay window and covered in a crochet blanket, they both LOVE it, and so far no one has peed on it

However #idiotcat is a bit displeased with me as I would not leave the wash-house door open so he could snoop about in there and probably pee on the dog food box.

Idiotcat's sister is mad with me as I have distributed photographic evidence to the WholeWideWorld famalam whatsapp of her and her brother cosying together on the new chair.

I didn't give him chicken. He doesn't even live here

FelicityBeedle · 23/04/2021 23:06

@QueenPaw
You really need to stop deluding yourself, that’s clearly your cat

WRONG!
The furry overlords have clearly agreed to share you

sashh · 24/04/2021 07:34

I had to go for a pee in the night, she was sleeping on me and had to re settle when I got back.

billybagpuss · 24/04/2021 07:37

I spent a fortune on a bench integrated into our new kitchen, the cats took ownership within minutes of the builders leaving, yesterday I had the audacity to sit on it 😳

bravotango · 24/04/2021 07:50

I didn't get up to feed him at 4:30am when he asked me to jumped on my head and put a paw on my face

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 24/04/2021 07:53

My new cat Tabby has never used a catflap before, she is 11 years old. She managed to get out during the night for the first time and couldn't get back in.
When I went down to find her this morning she was outraged that I hadn't been sleeping by the back door all night ready to let her in and out when she needed me too.
She's taken it out on the toy mouse and given it a proper battering.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 24/04/2021 09:32

Cat has been sulking for an hour after I got up and fed him and proceeded to do some housework rather than sitting down to WATCH. HIM. EAT. This is an ongoing battle. I am now sitting with a cup of tea and he is eating. No, now he's heard DH so he's marched off to demand that he, too, joins the audience...

Springersrock · 24/04/2021 09:38

Mine is sulking because I chucked his dead mouse away. The one he’d left on the kitchen floor and I trod on when he woke me up with his demands to feed him at 6:30am this morning.

I don’t know if he was saving it for pudding or something

DenisetheMenace · 24/04/2021 19:59

One of the girls weed on her recovery vest and whilst I washed and dried it had to wear the cone of shame 🙀

FelicityBeedle · 25/04/2021 18:44

I was sewing today, not only did I bath him away as he tried to put his hand into the running needle, I locked him out of the room when I was cutting pattern pieces and he was determined to rip it to shreds. I assume because there were sheep on the fabric, I think he was a sheep rustling lion in a past life

cushioncovers · 25/04/2021 18:48

I cleared my throat and startled him. If looks could kill.

FelicityBeedle · 25/04/2021 18:52

Oops he has paws not hands, thankfully!

RachelRavenR0th · 25/04/2021 18:55

I put her outside for some fresh air while it was warm and sunny. She was giving me the side-eye from the driveway.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 25/04/2021 18:56

Sent him out on his walk with DS so I could talk to my brother.

I swapped back but he's still sulking in the undergrowth.

He was sat on the patio by the back door, where his cat flap is, when he saw me in the conservatory. He then crossed the patio, balanced on the retaining wall around the conservatory on to the side patio (this sounds much posher than it is!) and meowed at me to let him in. I wouldn’t open the door for him. I blame DH who rushes for the keys even as I point out to them both that there’s a fully functioning cat flap. Anyway, no DH today so the cat sulked off into the woods.

I once woke up DD by stapling some paper two rooms away. She's improved though.
sashh · 26/04/2021 06:05

I've just moved her to make coffee.
