How have you devastated your cat today?

I've put privacy film on the front room windows and he can't watch the world go by any more. He's sulking.

Ours seems to have recovered but she was extremely unhappy that three adults had decided to wrap her in a towel and hold her down while forcing a syringe full of pain killer into her mouth. I'd love to know how the vet manages single handedly. In any event, she ran out of the room but returned pretty quickly and is now asleep on the footstool. All seems to have been forgiven.

Ha!! This made me snort - I manage my two on my own but it's not pretty - and every single time I consider paying my neighbour to come and help with all the 8352 paws and claws that appear out of nowhere 😂

Today I fed them the wrong flavour pouch. They're both disgusted (they ate it fine yesterday, my crystal ball is broken)

We've got roofers here. One went off outside growling, the other retreated to the back of the settee growling!

I have visions of a growling roofer hiding behind your settee in my defence it's been a long day!

Cut his head fur because he'd somehow managed to get something icky stuck to his head. Of course you can't even tell where I've cut the offending item out but in Felix's Kitty mind I've chopped a great big whopping chunk of his fur off and left him with a big bald patch 😹

Oh I forgot the hairdryer incident the other week. HM Cat was on the bed, I came in, sat on the bed and started to dry my hair. I must have passed the blast over her because she leaped to her feet, glared at me, then stomped off to the living room.

She wouldn't sit in the 'sweet spot' for 3 days after that. Mea Maxima culpa.

3 of my 5 cats had to go for their annual vaccine booster today. They were not happy especially as vet was running late due to some emergency. They had to be in cat cages for 40 mins waiting for vacation.

I am expecting my 5 cats to get very angry with me as I am turning off the underfloor heating in the kitchen. It has been on since September and somehow they will guess it was me so I will Probably not get cuddles over weekend from all of them.

Dcat 1 is annoyed because I couldn't see him through a wall. Also I washed the blanket his granny made him and obviously it might not be his blanket anymore.

Dcat 3 is annoyed that I wouldn't let her eat the hamster.

Dcat 2 is an angel. Dcat 4 is a little mental but always happy. They don't get annoyed.

We put our big tough tom cat in a babygro because he has licked his back raw. I think he might kill me in my sleep tonight.

Silkiecat is 16 and yesterday she was sad that we put 3 out of 4 of our old dining chairs out for council collection and she sat on the fourth quickly - we were always keeping that one for her.

Then DD went to the bathroom at 1am and didn't also rush downstairs to give the cat a cuddle so she howled and then DD went down and cuddled her.

HarleyQuinn Our cat loved our baby for until she could crawl and grew and she was horrified. It took her until DD was about 10 and capable of feeding the cat to be forgiven.

I had a phonecall with my tutor today so naturally she had to meow the entire duration of the call because I wasn’t giving her any attention. When the call ended so did the crying, she no longer wanted my attention 🙃

I shaved Magics tummy as she had som really bad matts. (Thought is is still speaking to
Me)

It rained when he slept in the unused fireplace and he got wet. I failed to solve this unacceptable state of affairs.

I wore a striped t-shirt. This was visually displeasing to him.

It's 3.48am and now Silkiecat is furious that no-one has made her breakfast yet and she's eaten her midnight meal already.

I visited a friend yesterday who I haven’t seen for ages. This meant I had the scent of her dog and horses on me when I got home. Which resulted in both the cat AND the dog being pissed off with me. Double trouble, definitely not good!

I called her a little shit for repeatedly ripping up the carpet on the stairs, she has 2 indoor scratching posts and free access to the great outdoors where there are plenty of trees and fence posts to sharpen her claws on. She is sitting outside the patio doors with her back to me, she hasn't moved for around half an hour just to drive home the point about how not happy she is that shes not allowed to destroy things.

I didn’t let her sit on my writing pad or play with the end of my pen when I was trying to do an assignment. She is punishing me by sleeping on my clean washing. I can’t move her....there would be hell to pay.

So far today miraculously I’ve only managed to do right.

Got the sweetest purr miaow earlier when I gave him a clappie in just the right spot when he rolled over.

It won’t last but I genuinely live for times like this.

Not my cat but someone else's cat or possibly the small fox that visits apparently ventured in through the catflap last night, which I'd accidentally left set to "in only" after DCats came in.

First time I wore the leopard print dressing gown dh got me our cat cowered so he must have recognised it as leopard print.

It’s a fleecy cute one not a bet lynch affair.

I am making dinner without any salmon so Micky is sitting on the recipe and refuses to move.

Gorgeous cat. Definitely needs salmon.

I dared to give him his usual tea time wet food, instead of the dry food he was clearly wanting. He's currently pawing at the ground next to his bowl and shooting me evils in protest.
