Has started coming in our house and stealing cat food.
Our cats dislike him. (understatement...)
Once he's in it's a problem removing him because he growls, hisses and then attacks us (launches at our legs etc).
He spends an inordinate amount of time in our garden or staring in through the French windows. Any suggestion how to gently discourage him? I have no intention of having outside doors shut for the whole summer.
Enclosed a picture of him sitting on our outside table.

Basil is very nonchalant when there's a pane of glass between him and TC.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 26/11/2019 10:27

TC is simultaneously trying to grow 4 feet and develop opposable thumbs :)

Nonstopbuttmachine · 26/11/2019 19:52

I love TC's latest move. Crouching tiger, hidden thug cat 🙀

BovaryX · 28/11/2019 12:01

TC has some very impressive ninja moves there. He looks quite tragic pawing window to get in....

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/11/2019 13:50

TC is sitting outside the door (with a very grumpy Sybil on DW's lap staring at him). I was amused by his Harry Worth impression oh God that's showing my age

GrinPaw raises!

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/11/2019 21:12

He probably misses you after spending so much time at yours this year.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/12/2019 10:17

TC!!! I don't remember Harry Worth, but after googling him I do remember his ventriloquist act.

JanetWeb2812 · 02/12/2019 11:40

Here's Harry

I may have mentioned this before but I definitely believe that TC is becoming a bit of a porker Shock.
This was him outside the door this morning

My Bengal used to chunk up every winter and lose it in the summer.

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 03/12/2019 09:55

No wonder he's plotting to kill you if you're calling him fat. He's just carrying some extra winter fur.

TheLongRider · 03/12/2019 09:58

He's beginning to look like Iorek Bjornsen, the armoured bear from The Northern Lights!

It's just extra padding so that he can carry on his winter campaign.

BovaryX · 03/12/2019 10:37

He certainly looks dressed for a Baltic winter! But he looks so mournful. TC obviously thinks it’s cat nirvana in there. The war of attrition goes on....

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/12/2019 10:52

Also, I think that’s an unflattering camera angle.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/12/2019 11:36

Iorek Bjornsen Shock. I now have a mental image of TC losing his armour in a drunken brawl.

NDN has kindly sent me a picture of TC on his latest sleeping place - the swimming pool cover. Must be rather like a water bed. I'm hoping he keeps his claws in.

Ha! I also hope TC keeps his claws in, he is in danger of a Baltic immersion! Does TC have a cat basket as well as the water bed? He always looks slightly melancholic. Because he wants to move to feline nirvana...

YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/12/2019 12:35

He’s like Oliver Twist or little Orphan Annie ... poor little lonely sweetie.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/12/2019 12:42

Spartacus

I think he's more like Fagin Grin

Nonstopbuttmachine · 03/12/2019 17:54

One false move and TC will end up in the pool Shock Let's hope his winter blubber acts as a buoyancy aid Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/12/2019 17:59

Is the water heating always on?.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/12/2019 18:50

Is the water heating always on?.

It's a training pool in regular use - so yes it is kept warm.

OP posts:
AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 03/12/2019 19:13

You say training pool, he's thinking large cat water bed.

How loose is the lid? Wouldn't it be a shame one day if it were to give way under all that extra weight?

Supersimkin2 · 03/12/2019 20:16

ffs Grumpy don't let him do that - I know two dogs who died falling under those covers. Sorry, sorry to be so ghoulish but it's insanely dangerous as once you fall in you can't get out.

AnniePankettonne · 03/12/2019 20:29

You can't let that happen to TC !
