There is a lipstick going around in the washing machine that isn't mine.

100% certain dh is not having an affair so who does the lipstick belong to and how on earth will I get it out of the washing as the lid has come off (presumably in the machine) and I'm guessing it will be all over it now. Luckily it was a dark wash. I've stopped the washing machine and put it on drain.

I just read this entire thread. Incredible.

TroubledTribble28 · 28/12/2017 00:28

Like this only without the fungus? My brother has those, we're a family of freaks who belong in a circus obviously.

On page 9 now can't keep my eyes open any longer but need to read the rest of this thread!!!!!

Snapped off pencil leads live in so many of us! I had one in the top of my thigh for at least 20 years, me & (dr) DP cut it out, it had flesh clinging to it and was all bumpy but still a pencil lead for sure. We left it on the side to thoroughly examine/see if it would still write later and it got swept away somehow, never got over it Xmas Sad

My brother had ywo fingers joined together with a web, when he was born. He had to have it cut, then have skin grafted over his fingers.
I also have small webs, between my middle and ring fingers on both hands. I just have to be careful to only wear narrow rings, which sit just below my middle knuckle, otherwise they dig into the web.

And my ex husband had webbed toes (just two toes on each foot), so we made sure to check our babies when they were born, in case it was hereditary. Luckily they had normal fingers and toes.

The pencil lead seems to be a common one. My husband also has a piece of lead in the palm of his hand, from school.

The thread that keeps on giving.......

Cocolepew · 28/12/2017 09:44

My toes aren't like that!
It's like tapdancingmum said. They are on top of each other .
It's only my big toes but DD has more.
When you cut it there extra nail underneath.

JeremiahBackflip · 28/12/2017 10:17

I think I may have urinated out a beetle a couple of weeks ago. Confused

I had just cleaned the bathroom, so I knew the toilet was clean and empty of insects. I had to wee and after completing my bodily functions and whatnot, I turned to flush the toilet and saw a beetle in the toilet. It was about half the size of my thumb and swimming around.

I flushed. And felt weird. I'm not sure if this thread has reassured me or freaked me out further. Am I to expect more insects?

Lweji · 28/12/2017 10:21

You didn't urinate a beetle. That is one hypothesis that has an incredibly low likelihood.
More likely it was hidden somewhere under the rim, came up the pipes or from outside the toilet.

Oddish · 28/12/2017 10:21

Nooooooo jeremiah I don’t think that’s possible, it was probably hiding under the rim or fell off the ceiling!

VanillaMincePie · 28/12/2017 10:31

Did the OP ever come back?

JeremiahBackflip · 28/12/2017 11:09

I was completely satisfied that I couldn't have urinated a beetle, Lweji. Completely. Freaked out that it might have been hiding in my clothes though.

Then I read this thread...

Alibobbob · 28/12/2017 11:21

Wow so many of us with additional pencil lead - mine is in my left index finger.... never trust a ‘friend’ who says “this won’t hurt”... Approx 40 years ago..... Julie Shell I remember and still haven’t forgiven you. Lol

64BooLane · 28/12/2017 11:28

I have a pencil lead in my hand too, dating to c. 1984.

SydBound27 · 28/12/2017 11:46

Did the OP ever come back?

She came back several pages ago and was very impressed by what we had done with her thread Grin Grin Grin

VanillaMincePie · 28/12/2017 12:05

Thank you! I think my phone may ha a skipped a few pages Blush

Oddish · 28/12/2017 12:11

I can’t believe all these pencil leads in people! Wonder if kids still do it, my 14yo reckons a colouring pencil tip snapped off in her palm years ago but I’ve rooted around, prodded and palpitated her hand as much as she’ll tolerate to no avail. Maybe crayon breaks down. I’ve thought about it way too much.

DoculamentDoculament · 28/12/2017 12:30

Jeremiah - I think you'd know if you squeezed something solid that's half the size of your thumb out of your urethra!
