There is a lipstick going around in the washing machine that isn't mine.

100% certain dh is not having an affair so who does the lipstick belong to and how on earth will I get it out of the washing as the lid has come off (presumably in the machine) and I'm guessing it will be all over it now. Luckily it was a dark wash. I've stopped the washing machine and put it on drain.

I was just reading this thinking how weird you all are and then remembered the pencil lead I've had in my heel since I was accidentally stabbed at primary school.

You can see it but not reach it. I don't think it's ever coming out but you never know..

Bought a second hand nappy bag from eBay after DS was born, it arrived clean and in good condition but upon investigation there was a dried up umbilical cord with clip in one of the inside pockets, wrapped in cling film. Messaged the seller and she was as mystified as me - we agreed that I’d post it back to her. I have mine and DS’s cords pickled together in a jar of formaldehyde but didn’t fancy adding a mystery one to the collection! Grin

Have also had an interesting half an hour about 15 years ago following a pooing puppy around, extracting large bits of cork placemat that required assistance with exit.

Just remembered something from eons ago when i was freshly scrubbed just out of college first hospital job ... was asked to take the dressings off an elderly ladies infected feet so her doc could assess her, they didnt warn me that her toes were gangrenous until i presented them to my mentior with the dressing 🤢

i years ago dropped a fridge on my toe and the nail died it started to come off and was flapping about went to hospital as i was not sure what would happen if i yanked it off had visions of me bleeding to death they just bandaged it and told me to leave it to come off naturally went home got into bed bandage came straight off so gritted teeth and just yanked entire nail off didnt bleed much soon healed over and you wouldnt know any different now

My cat once eat an elastic band. Every time I tried to pull it out of her bum it twanged back and flicked her. It took a few days to find its way out.

I don't think that's the double toe nail. It's more like two on top of each other not by the side. My DD has them on both big toes and we've put it down to her dancing and having to wear lots of different dance shoes including pointes that totally knackered her feet.

@KingPrawnOkay I too have a snapped off pencil in my foot. Mine was a sky blue crayola pencil. It is in my heel. It's been there nearly 30 years!
